So, during this time we add the animals that will head to have called the UK its home. The only exception would be the Attenborougsaurus as there is no space for the lagoon:

Creed mirage has been ok so far. Though they def need to make the parkour flow better in the next one. You can still feel the valhalla slugginess in this one.
Plus side though, I love that the blackbox/hitman style investigation opportunity assassinations are back for main targets.

The Rose of Segunda
2 hours for the first route. 90 minutes for rereads. I laughed a LOT. The heroine is witty, clever, and not afraid to bite, hard, with words. Anyone who loves "Pride and Prejudice" will love this.
There are 6 routes, the spiciest it ever gets is a kiss CG. 3 men, 2 women and a locked secret incest route if you're so inclined. All are done well, and I found the endings of the female love interests routes especially engaging. All that said, what was introduced on Leopold's route-- a coup!!!-- makes me especially keen to see what the sequel, The Thorns of War, would have to offer.
The Prince, when given space to breathe, is solid- he was my second favorite route. Bastian himself, well... I almost felt like I had to conjole and bully him out of his job role as the lowly steward to get him to make a move. And he still freaked out and tried to call it off at the end which ,wtf. As for the secret route, I liked how it was written, I will give it that. The explanation being that raising children in complete isolation as tools can give them weird inclinations I guess.
I mostly recommend it for the comedy. And the Thorns of War is totally in my list to read now.

The Talos Principle IIBack to the island again, and completed the first two zones in the impressive southern desert region. I'm pretty deep into the game now (>60% done), and I'm surprised how few Easter Eggs there are in the game. TTP1 was chock-full of them, it was a big part of the game, but definitely not here. I've done some out-of-bounds exploring, but as yet haven't run across any in this space. Some new additions with teleportation & gravity-based puzzles. Generally easier, but a couple weren't designed all that well, with real "thread-the-needle" precision required. Also, more wildlife, but thankfully... no deer.

Neverwinter Nights 2
Continued to rebuild Crossroad Keep, as well as investing in some new armors and weapons for our soldiers
Eventually traveled to the old ruins for the ritual, which went pretty well except when we entered a portal that brought us to the last statue we needed We arrived in the burned out state of a village, and Rith realized it was actually her home village of West Harbor. Neeshka pointed out it had been recently visited by demons, as she could still smell the brimstone and sulfur of the Hells. And of course Bishop just had to be his insensitive self
At any rate, we traveled back to the ruins where we had first found the silver shard, only to find the nearby structure breached. Inside we found a strange being, all glowy skull and all. It destroyed the last statue we needed for the ritual, and before attacking us it pointed out someone else had been performing the ritual as well.
So now we're kinda stuck, since we have no idea who took the ritual, and finding them could proof very difficult.
Instead Zhajeve suggested we continue finding the location of Ammon Jerro's Haven, in order to find out more information about the githyanki silver sword and perhaps a way to reforge it with the shards we have.
With help from Aldanon we uncovered the supposed location of said Haven, and traveled their with our companions. However upon arrival it seems it'll be a lot more difficult to actually get inside.

Fallout 4
Been playing Cyberpunk 2077 so my time with Fallout 4 has been limited. But I found vault 81 did the quest about the mole rats and recruited Curie. Found all three dead Brotherhood of Steel soldiers who had sent a distress signal. That's about all I did like I said I am trying to finish Cyberpunk.

Neverwinter Nights 2
So, we went inside Ammon Jerro's Haven, lost Shandra on the way in...she kinda got misplaced. We had to work through some demon problems, then battled against the current occupier of the Haven. And then Shandra got it into her head to sabotage the occupier, who actually turned out to be Ammon Jerro himself, who ah...kinda ended up killing his granddaughter in his rage.
Though reluctant Ammon decided to work alongside us to stop the King of Shadows.
Back at Crossroad Keep we were summoned to Neverwinter to meet with Lord Nasher, got attacked -again- and had to defend the castle from the attack. After the attack Nasher decided to knight us, so now Rithralia is a Knight Captain...fancy title.
Anyway, after that we were told to start up building alliances to combat the King of Shadows, so we set out to do that.
We started with seeking out the druid Circle of the Mere on the suggestion of foster-papa Daeghun, who survived the attack on West Harbor along with Bevil who's now a sergeant at Crossroad Keep.
Anyway, we found the Circle, but they'd become corrupted so we were forced to kill them. Then we traveled to Highcliff, met up with the Lizardfolk and convinced them to help us as well. After this we traveled to Port Llast, to seek out the mysterious Wendersnaven (honestly I don't even know if those things are real, but Grobnar sure seems to think so)
Went back to the Keep again, met up with the lackey of the new Luskan ambassador, who in turn decided to try and kill Rithralia along with Zhajeve and Qara...but we knocked her down, even got a new sergeant out of it (we convinced the mercenary the ambassador had with her to turn on her and help us instead)
Though the Luskan ambassador did leave us a little gift, a scroll of true names that could be used to defeat the Shadow Reavers...so we went to test it out, and it worked (yay!) The Shadow reaver had a shard on it's body, and Zhajeve pointed out we might now have gathered enough shards to reforge the silver sword
But before we do that, we have one more alliance to make, so we traveled to the dwarven Ironfist stronghold, but their current leader has a stick so far up his backside he can't see straight. So one of the buddies in the clan we made earlier suggested we seek out a fancy belt, so we can lift an even fancier hammer to convince the Ironfist leader to join us. Should be easy right? Well, now...because the belt is held by a clan of giants...who won't make it easy on us,

God of War Ragnarok-VahallaLets see best thing to say about this DLC is that its very...peaks and valleys. Just going through a rough patch or a few rough runs and been playing this for awhile so its like *groan* maybe I should just move on and just look up the rest but then I hit a *good* run or two and is just like keep on going on. I think the problem is in looking up the ending where I am...I am just not sure what to look up rather then just watching a complete PT which may not be an ideal thing either. What I found more then a little amusing though in what I went through last night is I did a run where I was getting a lot of buffs and stuff for my 'Blades of Chaos'. Which is my least favorite of the three weapons that Kratos uses and thus the one I tend to use the least, so I made the joke 'gee I do wonder if in this run I will actually make significant progress'. And I actually did as I beat part two of 'the work' in that particular run. I just find it kind of interesting though because are the buffs you get in a run entirely random or does the game like weight it towards things you actually do. Its just kind of interesting if eithe rone is the case because I've gone through this a lot but this is the first time I really had such a weight towards the Blades of Chaos. And even more curiously in this run...well in this game when you defeat the first boss you get to sort of a midway transition point between the lower and upper levels of Vahalla. Most of the time for me, like I am trying to remember another time when it wasn't, went to Helheim. But in this time through I ended up in Musphelheim, which is fascinating because of the Blades of Chaos association with heat. But then the Helheim segments seem to not matter because I've gone to it both in spear heavy and axe heavy runs...I think! Other thing that I have been wondering about and monitoring is just how badly I am sucking by listening to and keeping an eye on the dialogue you get here and there, the idea is if I run out then that must mean I have done so many runs as to run it our...thus I suck. The amazing thing is that they did put a lot of thought and stories and even mini arcs within this DLC for it being a free combat focussed DLC. So I have not run out of dialogue. The only thing is sometimes it seems like it is very dependent on you making progress within the runs of Vahalla. In other words you get a story on one run because you beat bosses and what not and then the next run you get...well nothing because you did not make it as far and have to wait which might lead to thoughts of sucking. The main thing here and character plot development continue on with the SIgurn/ Mimir subplot. Essentially Vahalla punished Sigurn for her 'breaking the rules' to save us. But this has led to her thinking about things and her role with Vahalla and both in general. Long story short she gets the conclusion that she is going to back away from Vahalla to find herself and travel the world as her and not as a representative to a higher cause...with Mimir at her side. It was cute, but convenient, because she was like 'maybe this is what you were trying to say when you insulted me that one time' and Mimir was like 'yes its funny how wise I am isn't it?'
On the Kratos main story front again got to Tyr and wailed in on him and the boss fight took on a new form based on what was going on with Kratos's memories...IE because Kratos/ Vahalla was musing on his time when he plunged Greece into darkness...Tyr plunged the battle arena into darkness forcing the player to head towards a bit of the arena that was still lit up. And I was able to get through.
Makes me wonder what the gimick will be when I get to the Pandora bit. Good news is I am apparently on the last quest though! AC MirageCouple of amusing circumstances and interesting things happened. On the contract front I am still trying to muse them out. Because again they do not entirely seem like they are entirely non ambient in their design...but on the same hand they seem to keep on sending us to the same areas. Which is a feature of that kind of quest design. And well there is a definite story within some of them as well. But the fun part in this, and why this is relevent, is I went to an area for a story mission. It had a gear chest there and I was like 'well I should go and pick it up on the way'. Forgot about it. Then the next contract mission there...I think all of these were assassination missions to actually...though I think this mission was the one where I had to tale the target first before going after him and his brother. Anyway second time in...forgot about the chest...looked it up...saw it wasn't that important. But then the THIRD contract took me back to the same place. So I made sure to get the chest first this time...lol. Second instance on one of these little excursions involving tailing the target there was this little hay wheelbarrow thing that I jumped into. A guard was in front of it, completley oblivious, now this shouldn't have been a restricted area...no noteriety...but I joked to myself that the guards in this are completley oblivious since he didn't even seem to react. Except for like the next two times I crossed him...maybe three. He kept on coming after me and getting a lot of his friends to come after me to. For no real reason again since it wasn't like it was in a bad place or anything! Eventually I just resolved to kill him and bury him in the wheel barrow. The WarlordSo aside from the first kill with Al Ghul there has been no more of those Assassin interlude stuff with the jinn in the background. This has been a bit dissapointing since well that was the promise of this game's entire story.
Well this was one more chance because it seemed obvious that the guy I was going after, the Warlord, was the boss of this particular branch of the Order. And well it was also the first target where it had me look for opprotunities to investigate and find weaknesses of getting at him.
Which didn't really benefit me and kind of which I spent a little more time looking for the other one...but there were no bad consequences for me getting caught over and over again following the guy. And I was able to fight my way through pretty non stealthily.
Second big thing of this was it was again another giant set piece for the rebels against the Abassaids. Beshi was killed as he had been captured by the Warlord and we couldn't save him. So Ali took us and cut a swath through the guards then drew out some more guards (though not all the guards) for a bit of a sword fight.
Eventually we were able to sneak into the Warlord's quarters...he was busy talking to two of his men. The men left leaving him alone, which I focussed assained.
As per our deal I let Ali stab his corpse as the rest of his men entered making it look like he was the one responsible for his death. On the one hand i admire the cloak and dagger nature of the game...but on the other hand I do wonder at just where Ali's morality continues to lie. And if it will come up considering I did kill the apparent main guy of his arc. Of coin and corruptionNext up after all the stuff I went to do with the contracts checking in with the Master Roshan thing in Karkh. The Merchant's quarters.
So the Abassaids and the merchants are in a tense situation. They are sending in guards to rough up merchants, tax them, confisscate their goods, etc.
Up first here I went through and discovered a group of guards harrasing a merchant. The assassinate option was available but it was in the middle of a friggin bazaar so I was very uncomfortable to do it. Wifey suggested I speak to him, and I discovered after facing him tha toption was now available. And I was able to bribe him with a token. First time that mechanic has shown up in awhile.
Turns out the Order connected authorties, because of course they are, are busy confiscating and looking for certain ancient artefacts. Things seem like they are completley inocuous and non isu related but could fetch a pretty penny so they might be engaging in good ole art theft.
Kind of amusing towards the end as I had to escort some merchants to Baghdad. They were Greek. And they kept on saying 'malaka'. Very nice throw back to previous games. THough its also funny that one of them mentioned Hades and being sent to there. Going to be worth looking up the history but I would've assumed that Christianity would've taken hold in Greece by the 10th century CE.

BG3 Started an elf male paladin. Nothing extraordinary happened. I like the first get together with Shadowheart. A simple moment with friends getting comfortable with each other. I made some few discoveries I missed in the first PT. Act I is done. All that's left is the party.

God of War Ragnarok-Vahalla.Didn't really do too much actually had such an awesome run going in this time but well Tyr now has the blue health bar...which not exactly sure what that does mechanically but it seems to be on the tougher enemies and also makes a character meaty. Even then I was doing fine...until he summoned a friggin centaur with its own blue bar and they tag teamed me. AC MirageNot too much done today either. Got another Order member off the board 'the tax collector'. I really have to remember to start using more of my other gear other then just the blow darts and knives. Realized in hind sight the noise maker probably could've really helped me in a situation I was having trouble with. Which was playing with the focus assassination. Had three guards in a row and one of them was underneath Basim in a banister. Couldn't really get to him but then it kind of lit up and had the target icon over his head so tried to fiddle with it. It did not work out really as planned because I still thought I could kill two of them and then do a knife throw on a third...and lesson learned because you can't initiate chain assassination after a focus assassination. On the start of my playthrough though had some trouble as I pretty much accidentally ran into a restricted area face first and guards were there, they chased me, got with their friends, and led me on a marry chase through Baghdad. I broke contact...initially...by hiring mercenaries to fight them and then running away. A developing tactic for me. Thing is I think I confirmed that, like last time, even if you break contact with guards they can still recognize you if you stumble upon them later. Which actually makes sense but goodness is it annoying for gameplay reasons. Ended off trying to find the last two shards. Tried going through the Round City and...well. No such luck. The ROund city has a lot of restricted space and I think I kind of bumped into what is probably going to be an end game area so I retreated.

When I don't have Meniere's attacks...I play Jedi Survivor these days using my Windows COntroller that I bought last Summer, and I gotta say, the game is WORLDS more enjoyable with a Controller than struggling with the KBM setup.

Neverwinter Nights 2
With the last allies secured Rith went back to West Harbor in order to reforge the silver sword, which we did...though it was a tough battle since the King of Shadows had twisted the remains of the killed villagers into undead puppets. You actually learn at some point it's actually the Silver Sword of Gith.
Yes, that Gith...the one that freed the githyanki and githzerai from mindflayer control Upon returning back to Crossroad Keep we learned that our old friend Callum from Old Owl Well had been attacked by another Shadow Reaver, we unfortunately arrived too late to save him. Before his death he told us the village of Highcliff had fallen to the enemy.
We rushed back to the Keep, informing Ser Nevalle of our success at recovering an important text that would be able to get us to the King of Shadows' domain. He in turn left to inform Lord Nasher, who took the battle to the enemy...but he didn't succeed (naturally)
With the forces of Neverwinter retreating back to Crossroad Keep it is now up to us and our forged alliances to take the battle to the King of Shadows and kick him where the sun don't shine.

Aka. I'm almost finished with this playthrough, should take me another day or so. Just need to do the siege at Crossroad Keep and the actual finding and fighting the King of Shadows

Fallout 4 and Cyberpunk 2077
Finished the Phantom Liberty dlc for Cyberpunk and I must say it is the best dlc of 2023. Like the rest of the game the characters were great. Idris Elba did a solid performance. Just a great story. As for Fallout 4 been working on fortifying settlements even though I am using a mod that stops attacks on settlements. Curie got a synth body also I love her accent. I was surprised to see the flirt option pop up since she's a synth, but Ignored the option since I am loyal to Piper. Well that's all I did last night game wise. Will continue to play both again tonight.

BG3 I was in a hurry to know the story so I went through the first PT without thoroughly exploring everything. I'm taking my time for the second PT so I'm making more discoveries but I wouldn't be surprised if I miss stuff anyway. I didn't dye his gauntlets and boots because I don't think there is a dye that goes with the original colour. Of course I totally overlooked that the game came with a cloak and other stuff that I missed in the first PT.

Remember to throw all the best equipment you have on Bishop before the fighting starts. Just all of it. Can't be too careful. His job guarding the gate is pretty important and intense compared to everyone else's, and without medium or heavy armor even that Ranger D10 Hit Die is gonna take a beating fast... Have been thinking about going back to NWN2 lately. Craving some sort of wholesome gish warhammer/maul character after watching Violent Night twice this year Christmas, and that's never been my style in these games before. Also considered doing it as a redemption Durge in BG3. For now though: Dragon Age: Origins Finished the Circle Tower like a good little mage by protecting the mages, though next time I'm definitely recruiting the templars. My Warden Commander Armor + Yusaris greatsword came in pretty handy in the fade before I found the shapeshifting forms, but I felt like I was missing a lot, so upping the Attack on this thing with the next talent in the AW tree is first on the order of business now. I struggled a little bit against the burning enemies owing to my reliance on fire damage spells for DPS, being almost pure Controller. Or rather, it took forever to whittle them down because I kept missing once I got my Fade Shield and Rock Armor going after every transformation. Against everything else I found that Firestorm + Burning Warrior Form is a pretty broken combination. Epic one too, happily dueling enemies with my greatsword in the center of a fiery tornado that sapped their health like a motherfucker. Or just freezing them in place to unmovingly burn to death with one of a dozen paralyze spells... Doing the alliances in the reverse order from my usual, going counter-clockwise around Ferelden because Belinda just wasn't in a hurry to get back to the Circle Tower. And the Dalish quest did a lot to teach her that mages abusing power isn't just a punitive fairy tale, feeling forced to side with the Keeper and cull the werewolves to get her contracted Dalish allies even though things felt way more complicated than that because she wasn't much of a smooth-talker yet. Then Denerim gave some experience about life for ordinary people, trading and dealing and solving practical, everyday problems, and Warden's Keep taught her a bit about the 'any means necessary' aspect of the Wardens' oath, both good and bad, and gave her Sophia Dryden as a feminine proud and charismatic leader example. Figure the main things she's taking away from the Circle is a revelation about the underlying workings of fire magic from using it so much in the Fade, unlocking Firestorm, and realizing how far she's come from the meek little novice mage she was when she left it, ever letting others decide what she should do and what she was capable of. Greatsword at her back and Sophia Dryden's armor fitting a little better now... oh, and apologizing to Cullen for leading him on a little bit, seeing how the demons used that guilt and empty hope to torment him. People are responsible for handling their own demons, but messing around with their feelings without caring where it might lead is still a selfish douchebag move that ultimately has consequences for someone. Which will have interesting implications for the party dynamic, seeing as Belinda has been flirting pretty carelessly with both Alistair and Leliana, leading to a tentative relationship that might be more 'real' for Leliana than for her after the mess with Marjolaine ...and bodes ill for our poor bard, seeing as I'm aiming for the Alistair's romance and sacrifice ending to finally get the last trophy for this damn game after almost 15 years and about as many playthroughs. Then again, I dumped Morrigan for her last playthrough, so.... Next I'm going to Orzammar to take the bull in a china shop approach to dwarven politics. Think maybe I'll lean into Bhelen's storyline first and then pivot to Harrowmount's cause when I'm fed up with the oily assholery. Planning to side with Branka this time around, and I'm sure as shit not handing the power to create golems to Bhelen.

NHL 22Almost a case of instant regret here but I did indeed decide to start another franchise. Lets see how long this lasts and well of course will be continuing with other games which is the weird part because dunno how much time I will be able to devote to it. But i guess I have been riding a hot streak and been tired of counting stats 'in my head' as it were. Second thing well took me awhile to get going because this game, unlike Madden, does not give you the option of 'simming' the pre season specifically so somehow either its fault or my fault on the first attempt simmed like the first seven games of the regular season. Probably should've kept it given it was a 6-0-1 start but hey I am a sucker for pain...apparently. Ugh there is that buyers remorse again. TOo much to play and hopefully a couple of big new games in the near future...maybe. ANyways on the second attempt though I finally figured it out since the 2021 season is the actual 2021 season so I was able to look up. Two games in against Dallas and Philedelphia. About twenty minutes I really didn't think was enough time to play any AC in any meaningfaul ways so got in another game with all that BS above. Dallas finished up 5-2. Only negative really for the game is Ulmark 'put the puck in his own net' trying to pass it out. SImilar to another recent situation I should've been able to pass it out but it was also kind of stupid and I paid for it. Other then that on the good news and bad news front I got a lot of secondary scoring. Only goals scored by third and fourth liners. And it was also nice because a few nice stories to get the season started off. DeBrusk and the third line, which has a -1 bonus due to line chemsitry which is a thing in this game, still got the scoring off as he buried a rebound off of the goalies left. Pretty sure he actually got the second goal too burying a rebound on the goalies right. Tomas Nosek picked up goal number 3 on what should've been a normal shot I think in the third period. Which is fun because the computer didn't put him on the team at first but I promoted him because I like him and he rewarded me. Nick Foligno took over from there picking up the final two goals. First one off of the Power Play as I got insane pressure and they never even managed to clear the zone once as it was off the opening face off. Just constant circling of the net as shot after shot plucked off the goalie but eventually Foligno buried it. Second goal was an empty netter. Second game was a lot tighter of an affair. Only 3-1. David Krecji added the first second line goal scored of the season. Weird play as it was just a dinky little wrister from the point that the Flyers goalie looked like he was going to block but then it just trickled through. And that was it till the third period. Finally the first line got it going as just all three forwards crashed the net and were in the screen on the goal celebration with no flyters in between them. Marchand shot it, Pasta buried the rebound. They made it 2-1 off of a goal from the point but Van Riemsdyk buried an empty netter on a fluky little back hander to make it 3-1. Also really like the computer actually did a good job updating the player's jersey numbers, at least I think a bit. Zacha at least is back in his number 18 jersey he has IRL with the Bruins.

At this rate all future Bioware games will be half done and modders need to rescue it for free.

Yeah I'm tempted t odiv eint oanothe rseason or 2 o fFifa bu tholdin goff becaus eof Forbidden Wes tatm as that's getting it's PC release soon. I suspec tin Feb bu tdon' tkno wexactl ywhen. All I know is early 24 so likely any time before the end o fMarch. It's the main reason why I started a run o fHZD no wrather than waiting. I'm no tfa rin yet but m yplan is to alternate between tha tan dfinishing m yAndromeda run atm. Mayb eafter I finis hthos e2 games I will pla ysome Fifa. I don' tknow if any of my fellow PC players are giving Zero Dawn another playthrough before Forbidden West drops but I know I am. Once I finish Andromeda then I'll probabl y focus exclusively on HZD

BG3 Paladin is now at the Grymforge. At one point, I halted the party just to watch two NPCs clearing out bodies. Well, one NPC kicking the corpses into the lake. I was curious as to whether he would kick all the corpses and clear the area but he didn't. After clearing half, he stood there with his pal and repeated their dialogue. I shoved three mobs off into the chasm because I knew they don't drop any good loot. I couldn't capture Gale's image for some reason. I got two SH captures which is strange. I suppose there's some lag going on.
