They said it gives the gun character, And it certainly does. The most accurate shotgun on paper, that constantly misses. Kinda fitting for cover based shooter that discourages you from using cover, no? I gave it a try... off host. Wasn't fun.

They said it gives the gun character, And it certainly does. The most accurate shotgun on paper, that constantly misses. Kinda fitting for cover based shooter that discourages you from using cover, no? I gave it a try... off host. Wasn't fun. It encourages to go into cover for recoil management, but then has shit like Harrier recoil reversed, not to mention one button - does it all controls, that will make you go into cover, out of cover, into cover again, into a roll from cover to cover all in 3 seconds, while a Banshee is on top of you. And of course you get gibbed.

There are a lot of bugs left that they didn't manage to fix before Troll-EA pulled the plug on the support.
The most obvious is the Geth faction, they are harder than Biovar wanted them to be, but they never got around to tune them down to the intended level.
If Bombers didn't has a wonky hitbox, and Geth in general had their stagger potential toned down, they would be laughably easy. Admittedly, they are harder than Reapers, because Reapers are pretty impotent at range, and Geth are dangerous at ANY range, however, they are not THAT out of balance with the other factions. Phantom BS is worse for me than anything Geth can do. And for PS3 Players, Collectors have enough random BS (such as hard freezes) to be comprobable (otherwise, Collectors would be the easiest faction). I personally consider Reapers easiest, with Geth and Cerberus pretty equal, though not so far different to Reapers that I'd make a big deal out of it, magnet grabs happen. As a PS3 player, I cannot fairly compare them, as intential mechanics wise, they seem to be pretty... fair, but have technical issues which exceed other factions. On Gold the Geth are fine, it's Platinum where they become a bit to annoying due to the multiple Primes you encounter, Platinum Condor vs Geth is probably the most annoying set-up you can do in the game (well after Collectors on any map that is).

Perhaps this was said earlier and I just missed it but, iirc, the shot lands where you were aiming .1 seconds before the trigger pull. Or something like that. It's not actually a delay mechanic, the round time travels. That being said, run it on the BatSent for all the head shots.

Geth BS (and triple primes) is why I always play VolSent vs Platinum Geth, it's a safety measure, not just for me, but the team.

Yes it's a fire delay, the shot hits where you aimed 0,01 seconds ago (worse off-host). The best way to counter it is by using a kit like the BatSent with submissive net or a stasis kit, DAI or Volus engineer with recon mine also works.

Works just dandy with a stagger power. In the case of phantoms, powers that make them raise the hand of denial (and thus stand still for a moment) are also applicable.
It's also very fun to stack penetration on that gun, and as we all know...
... you can never have enough penetration.

W8, what? The weight glitch works both on-host and off-hsot. It has to, otherwise I wouldn't have a 3s SS recharge pugging with my Shadow with both heavy mods on a Wraith. And since the Crusader is a non-DLC weapon, it works on it, too.

I am going to go ahead and call correct on Cherry with the Crusader weight glitchery.
Why? Ever since I saw ??? run their GE with Crusader/Shredder/HVB/Drill Ammo, I have lived with this kit as their living shrine.
Better players than me can use Sabre with this kit and score moar, but I can't. Despite weight, I spam teh Overload.
It is a wrecking Machine. Good hardware, the Geth make.

So if you are just talking about the bug where the 0.5 weight-adding wpn mods (like the SG High Velocity Barrel) is ignored, yeah the beneficial bug applies to ALL non-DLC guns. Here's the list: SR - Mantis,Viper,Incisor,Raptor,Widow,Indra,BW,Javelin,Valiant AR - Avenger,Vindicator,Mattock,Phaeston,GPR,Revenant,Falcon,Argus,Saber,Valkyrie SG - Katana,Scimitar,Eviscerator,GPSG,Graal,Claymore,Disciple,Raider,Wraith,Crusader HP - Predator,Phalanx,Arc,Carnifex,Paladin,Scorpion,Talon,Eagle
The power cooldown screen sometimes shows it as in effect, sometimes as not. But that doesn't impact the in-game actual cooldown, which always ignores it. There's some talk about if you have a secondary gone with one of the mods, it then does apply on the primary (if it has one of those weight penalty mods). I think that is if the secondary is one of the below? There was some talk that if you put two of the mods on one gun it then applies, but my tests show it doesn't. So feel free to put both the SG Omni-blade and HVB on your Crusader!
It does apply the penalty to: SR - Krysae,Kishock,CSR AR - CAR,Striker,Harrier,PPR,Typhoon,Lancer,Adas,Spitfire SG - Reegar,Piranha,Venom HP - Acolyte,Executioner,Suppressor

Yeah, I used to know this. Sheesh. Thank you for an excellent reminder of the status quo. The weight glitch is the one thing I don't think I have ever consciously done or tried to do in this game. It was one of those "can't be arsed" things because it seemed too complicated to me somehow.
