I think EPIC is too strong a word, but "Good, but procedural" makes it feel worse than I think it is. So, Very good?

The villain was way more cliché than I would've liked so that made the boss fight par for the course.

Final boss was ok. fighting an Architect directly was more fun the first time i fought one. the ending was good enough but forgettable.

I felt like it could have been epic if I had fought the Archon but instead it was just a fun fight.

The fight was not that Interesting. The level design, companions joining in combat, dialogue etc was indeed awesome.

Decent enough. Better than ME2s bossfight for sure.

Bit of an anti-climax, but it was fun enough. Like Akabra said, having everyone show up and jump into the fray elevated it.

Good enough, but the actual Architect fights were more involving and better IMO.
Still, better than Human Reaper in ME2 and lack of an actual final boss in ME3.
Would put it on par with Saren fight.
Standalone Architects on open worls are the best boss in whole series.

All the window dressing around it was great. All your allies and people you helped along the way showing up and your crew all coming to join the fight was great.
The actual battle itself and the mechanics of if were rather lame (hit these three switches and win, gee haven't done that a hundred times already throughout the game).

Between 2 and 5, not bad, bit easier than I expected but given the journey to get there I'm sure most people were tired and didn't want to spend another hour. The Architect fights were tougher and it didn't help that I faced my first one on Voeld with a level 1 hazard.

Might have bad memory, but I didn't mind the ME2 boss fight
ME1>ME2>MEA>ME3 for endings imo

I liked it. Reminded me a bit of the ME2 boss fight, though the adds in MEA gave me a harder time. Pity there wasn't a revive achievement cause I spent a bit of time as an EMT in that fight.

I hate Bioware's boss fights. They are too rigid/scripted. They are all the same format, everyone I can recall since Baldur's Gate. They just are not enjoyable. I wish we could just skip to the credits.

It's been a while since I finished my play through (waiting for patches before NG+) so .... umm ....
The word that springs to mind is forgettable. I have vivid memories of Saren committing suicide, then the warped bouncy body horror thing. I recall laughing gleefully as I unleashed my carefully hoarded Cain on the proto-reaper. Finished it off with a single Widow shot to the eye. And yus, I remember the endings to ME3.
MEA? Umm, lemme think, it was a place pretty much like all the other Remnant places. Lots of waves and oh! There was an architect. Maybe it wasn't forgettable then as I remembered as I was typing. How about blandly uneventful?

Good.
The only bit I found disappointing is that you never actually fight or kill the Archon, you just fight the Architect he was controlling. I was hoping at least for some post-fight dialogue and an execution interrupt, if not another boss fight.
To be fair though the Archon may not be entirely dead yet, so Bioware may have story reasons for not having the final confrontation actually being with him.

His body is dead, but since he was plugged into all that Remnant tech it is possible his consciousness uploaded into Meridian.
A synthetic version of him could return as a DLC antagonist.

Mass Effect hasn't been very good with boss fights, Tela Vasir from LotSB being the closest thing to a good one.
This was typical of them, but not having a chance to shoot the Archon himself is a lost opportunity. But as others have mentioned, beats baby terminator.

I would say good, not great. Bioware hasn't done final boss showdowns particularly well. That said it might be their best. I'm trying to think back on good boss fights. ME1: no. ME2: no (though the entire omega 4 relay sequence was pretty epic). ME3: lol, no. DAO: no (but again a good sequence of events made the experience worthwhile). DA2: boring, stupid, and predicable. DAI: too easy, not satisfying (Hawke's battle with Cory was much more satisfying). At least with MEA I'm appropriately challenged...and the entire sequence leading up to the showdown was everything ME3 wasn't.

The one or two hours leading up to the finale fight are epic, the ride on Meridian as well, the epilogue is pretty cool too, but the boss fight.. I wanted to shoot or hit that Archon.
