Started to experiment with the barricade skill some sentinels have. The more I used them the more started to love them. Here is what you can do with them in case you didnt know already. - Protect yourself from almost all enemy fire since the barrier has infinite health. You can even cancel the krogan charge if you are fast enough.
- Block out foes during objetice waves. Enemies cant jump over it.
- Increase your damage and accuracy. You can even opt for more power damage.
- Prime foes with electricity. Who dares to touch an orange wall deserves to be zapped anyway.

I havent started with a sentinel yet, but I have seen someone use the barricade thing for objective waves very effectively. I look forward to checking it out meself |

You can also trollhem teamates in certain places. It's a very good skill but does not last long enough in many situations.

You also can't shoot through it at all with any weapon mods as far as I can tell

You can also trollhem teamates in certain places. It's a very good skill but does not last long enough in many situations. More duration would be great for sure, but I makes quiete a difference if you can isolate yourself with a barrier next to a device for example. The barrier will be there long enough for you to use the device and then just try to make an escape. |

you can actually stop pretty much anything with a well-timed barricade. berserker spotted you from 15 meters out? put down a barricade right as his flak cannon hits you and you avoid the stun. hydra locked onto you with lasers? barricade will stop that missile barrage instantly.
you could almost use it like an on-demand iframe.

Pretty sure I probably had some team rage going on blocking in spawns in the small room in Magma on the second floor. An Asari Adept kept trying to rush in, and I'd get to the door and drop my barricade and just hose the room down. Your space magic is no match for crotch high walls Asari. |

I just learned that you can actually vault over the wall as a player. Simply cover against it and use whatever button you use to vault. The prompt doesn't show itself for some reason. Maybe it's shy.  |

There's a video out there of someone keeping one at bay with barriers. the fucking dogs jump over them but everything else sits on the far side including the ascendant and the fiend, the biggest problem is moronic team mates standing in the way so you cant drop the barrier down, of course you can back up a bit and drop it behind them, which if your really good annoyed means the army of mooks will drop them and then you can hide behind it to res them into a sync kill ....... and I might have done that a few times to really dopy shit pugs .... shame you cant teabag in this game, that was always a cool skill before  |

Yea I've stuck it in doorways they turn around and take the long way around, pretty funny. I've had a few enemies destroy it though don't remember which ones either a hydra or destroyer stomped on it right after I put it down to block their path, so seems to be dependant on where you place it. |

You can also have some extra fun if you place them where enemies usually jump up or down to reach your "floor". Had some cases where the barrier launched them straight up and they fell back down ~20 seconds later.
