And lancer pew pew sucks btw, go solo plat with that better CAR Somebody needs some more Lancer TSent in their life, also suprisingly good on the Shaman, Human Engie, Geth Engie, FQE. I usually Hurricane on my GEngie, but I put the Lancer on it the other day, and holy hell, Hunter Mode makes it insane, I see why my friend likes it on the Trooper now (I like my wallhax trooper too much to switch though) |

Somebody needs some more Lancer TSent in their life, also suprisingly good on the Shaman, Human Engie, Geth Engie, FQE. You forgot about Typhoon and Saber Nope, not given how I assess weapons (based on which rank a gun arrives in a character's best options, considering all kits). I consider the Typhoon as a niche weapon : it's basically a gun for the Destroyer and the turian soldier. It's indeed great on them, a top choice for sure, but, given its drawbacks (huge weight, ramp-up, high recoil), on most "powers" characters the Harrier, the Lancer and even the PPR will perform better. As for the Saber, I admit I hesitated to put it with the Lancer at the 3rd place. The second one is lighter, and the match regarding the dps is quite a null (the Lancer has a better single-clip dps, the Saber a better multi-clip dps). The Saber has an added value however on shield-strippers who can quickly kill mooks with a followed headshots. Globally the result of the match between Lancer and Saber probably depends on the player's ability to get headshots, I guess. |

Typhoon VolSent used to be my favourite build, but then I grew on using Striker on the little guy. |

I used to use Revenant or Typhoon on VolSent, but then he got his greedy little hands on the Saber, and he's so deadly with it, that I'm afraid to try and take it away from him.

I never choosed by DPS, or whathaveyou number you'd prefer. While I agree that Arc is better weapon in just every conceivable way, as far as numbers go at least, I'll always prefer Typhoon over Arc. For coolness factor alone. Hell, I'll prefer most weapons over Arc because of coolness alone. If we go by numbers, Arc is probably one of the best weapons in the game, bear none. But it's just boring. Pretty much why Claymore will always win for me. This round is a hard one, since I dearly love Javelin as well. But High Lord still wins. Save |

I'm surprised to see Typhoon/PPR as people's choices for Volsent weapons. I used to love the PPR but ramp up weapons are some of the worst choices for Volus in general. You can basically be invisible the entire match if you're double-cloaking right. I noticed a much higher actual-damage output when I switched over to high calibre low clip weapons that synced up better with double-cloaking. Lets you be a much more aggressive/offensive volsent. The kind that runs between 3 dragoons in their smash animation and lives to tell about it. Instead of having to RHA like an invalid with a green laser-pointer while your volass is swinging naked in the wind on the last half of your ramp up weapon. The time you're doing the most damage is the time you're the most vulnerable. If you have a weapon you can fire in cloak, heavy melee, then cloak again, you can basically just always be in cloak. Your least vulnerable time is now also your offensive time. I find that rotation significantly better than backwards-RHA. Also a lot more enjoyable. (I like C.Q.C.)
