Krysae GI/SI is hilarious and great fun. Krysae post-nerf does best with an RoF kit, so GI/TSol/Quarksman/Destroyer are most effective.
Krysae dominates Phantoms like few other weapons in this game. Bateman, l2p scrublet

well, i extremely rarely seldomly see anyone with the Striker and i never never ever ever see the Vindicator ,
so i guess the Striker wins.
as for how i personally rate those things, i can't , they just don't exist.

Given either, the first thing I would likely attempt is to turn them on myself so I needn't suffer attempting to use them.
Unfortunately, they're so shitty that I'd probably survive unscathed, much like anything else shot with them.
IMO they're equal, as they both hold the same omni blade, and using them to bash things to death is far more effective than bothering to fire them. I guess the Striker's slightly more......interesting?

I put Disruptor Ammo Krysae on my Vanilla Human Sentinel, then do one of two things: Mooks: Shoot > Throw > Tech Burst > Shoot > Throw > Tech Burst > Shoot > Throw > Tech Burst > Reload > Throw Bosses: Warp > Shoot > Shoot > Throw > Tech Burst > Shoot > Throw > Tech Burst > Reload > Throw > Biotic Explosion This takes advantage of the fact that Disruptor Ammo has no reprimer timer. It's both staggeriffic and scorewhoreiffic all wrapped up into one. SMR you serious o.O Krysae on the HSent? You slow down power usage with no real weapon dmg in return and disruptor on a Warp kit - you sir are crazy! Throw is fast recharge even with a Krysae. I might take some weight reduction either in a talent or ULM, the important thing is to get that Throw Tech Burst after every shot. It does adequate damage on Gold with this setup, I don't recall the last time I took it to Plat, I should do that this week sometime. I'm in Maryland atm tho and busy with other nerdy things so it may be a while before I get around to it.

Striker FTW. I don't really care how useful both weapons are but Vindicator is for shrimps and Striker looks badass and makes big BOOM sounds. Kinda reminds me of this:
Krogans make best guns 'cause krogan science is superior.

Used Vindicator on a Quarksman once.
It sucked.
Striker because it's only terrible, not putrid.

So much hate on these guns and tbh it is undeserved. With right setup both gun is gold viable.
Obviously the Vindicator has low damage output and some recoil so it benefits from characters/gears that can handle these problems. I'd use it on a HSOL with Adrenaline Rush and mods/gears that gives extra stability and damage. Easy peasy on gold. But many similar setup is viable that gives either big damage boost to the gun or gives stability. Once the kickback is lowered it is so accurate we can do constant headshots with it. I could say the Vindicator has similar problems to the Argus. If you know how to handle one, you know how to handle the other.
Striker has similar problems. Damage output is not that great, it has kickback, eats trough the clip fast. So we need, stability, more ammo or more damage up to you. With that, it can be used with many kits, but my favourite one was the Volus Engineer. Shield boosting Volus is something thats extremely boring to play with for me. So i was looking for something more enjoyable. Then i found the Striker. With this build only a few points is used for shield boost, to cancel dot effects. this is not only squad healer volus and can easily have the 75kills medal on gold.
I found my old post on BSN back from 2015 from the Thread " What's the most recent build/set up that you've discovered to be incredibly fun? ":
Volus engineer with striker. striker has a great synergy with the volus. i can stay behind cover and can still hit enemies behind another cover, because of the projectiles flying path is affected by gravity. very useful. striker also doesn't suffer if we hipfire, thats another bonus. also i can prime multiple enemies for FE's ot TB's with it.
i specced recon mine for invasive scan, proxy mine until level 5 damage taken. all we need is some weapon stability, that comes from barrage upgrade gear and stab module III or from assault rifle stab damper. Using assault rifle stab damper gives a free slot for gear and armor bonus so better versatility. Up to you.
ammo + proxy mine can detonate tech demos. i use recon mine strictly for damage bonus, slowing and extra vision. I only detonate it when relocating or when only very few enemies left. Proxy mine is used for another +20% damage bonus or detonating combos.
How you spec shield boost passive and fitness i leave it up to you. i tried many ways and all worked well.
It's best with incendiary IV. But disruptor, cryo and warp works aswell, just not as efficient as Inc.

I guess the Striker's slightly more......interesting? Meh striker TGI with fire ammo is awesome and fun to play with, eats phantoms alive and is simply more then adequate for plat. Shit i would not even dare to bring it to silver to not hog all the kills from bored teammates.

mordokai and I have done a couple of lolsilvers recently in which we both played human engineers with Vindicators. I mention it here because with that setup we both tend to score around the same, give or take; but I get more AR kills, whereas Mordokai gets more tech kills. The odd thing is that I'd have expected it to be the other way around, given that I think of myself more as a caster than as a weapon-focused player. Perhaps I just have an affinity for weapons that are generally considered crummy

The odd thing is that I'd have expected it to be the other way around, given that I think of myself more as a caster than as a weapon-focused player. Perhaps I just have an affinity for weapons that are generally considered crummy Fun matches, though I certainly wouldn't take Vindicator to Gold. As for the kill tendency, I noticed it as well. The reasons, I think, are twofold: - so far, most of the casters I've played have been biotics and I've gotten used to them. As you know, I like using heavy weapons on my adept(remind me to show you my Claymore HFA someday... she's a hoot) since I like supplementing my biotics with weapon fire. Tech casters, I'm still pretty fresh to, so I play them more as casters.
- and more important... powerful as they are, biotic explosions are kinda dull, since they are all the same. But on the tech side of the spectrum, you have three kinds of combos, with different effects and sounds and I love it to pieces. That's why I go out of my way to always set as many of them as possible. Just ask Grunt
Maybe I'll start playing my engineers with Claymore some day as well, but so far, I think I'll keep to the lighter side of the spectrum. Which is good, since I'm chronically short on shotgun amps
