Which would you choose? I briefly used both of these "weapons" this week, and they were so bad I was thinking about trying the Falcon Onion Thrower again I'd choose the Vindicator and just use melee and powers and hope someone good joins my lobby

The Striker allegedly can have its uses when paired with the N7 Destroyer, off-host, but you're on PC so have other ways to access large credit deposits. In seriousness, I don't like it much but I prefer it to the Vindicator, which is one of my never-to-be-used-again guns along with the Shuriken and Argus. The Striker can be very enjoyable on the TSent with Incendiary Ammo, and on the occasions before I became 100% focused on my Krogans being melee-centric, it did a pretty good job of applying cheese for the KroSol. As for the Falcon, you sound like a man who has yet to experience it in the hands of the Human Engineer, Geth Engineer or Volus Merc. In their hands it is, quite literally, staggeringly good fun. Cryo Falcon FTW!!!

I cannot believe I am saying this, but if I had to pick between the two, I would take the Vindicator. I have seen people do well with the Striker with a number of kits, such as Kroldier, BatSol, Destroyer, TGI and Tsent, but for me, it just doesn't work. I did find a decent build for the Vindicator though, to my surprise. Slap it on the TGI, equip the AP barrel, maximize stability, and take incendiary ammo. Make sure you hit headshots against mooks. Overload either before shooting, to help popping heads, or after shooting, to get a fire explosion. It is - again, to my surprise - absolutely gold-worthy with this setup, as long as you hit heads a lot, and manage to make all three bullets hit. I wouldn't miss either gun if they were to fall out of the airlock though, that's for sure!
As for the Falcon, I agree with GruntKitterhand, in the hands of the right kit, it is actually a very good weapon. I would add the smashguard to the list though. Charge something and bonus power doesn't kick in? Keep them dancing while your powers are on cooldown!

Off-host, Vindicator. On-Host TGI abusing non-breaking cloak: Striker.
I usually wont publically encourage glitch abusing (though I wont speak out against it, either, since I use a few of them), in this case, it really does turn a bad weapon into a good one. TGI with the Striker can actually cause real damage to enemies, if you cloak after you start firing, since the gun wont break the cloak, you get a full (hopefully extended) clip of pure cloaked goodness, which actually makes the Striker not suck.
In any other circumstance, Vindicator will likely perform better, as the Striker suffers many issues. Especially Off-Host blanks and lacking headshot capabilities.

Vindicator is the worse of the two. If not for shuriken, its the worst weapon in the game imo.
Striker staggers bullshit Cerberus enemies like phantoms and dragoons. Any weapon that does that is pure gold. Plus it doesn't require precise aiming to deal with the utter garbage and nonsensical flipping. It's beautiful.

The Vindicator's great on the Quarksman and TSol. Triple headshots for everyone!
Tried the striker once, and it was alright.

At least the Vindicator can hit things off-host.
The striker is just blanks, all day, erry day. Know what I'm saying?

Striker is more OP then Vindicator. Because it staggers, has area damage, ammo primes well, has less recoil then Vindicator (I just use something like Barrage Gear and never aim down sight for further recoil suppressing) and doesn't require a pierce mod/AP ammo. Only down side is running out of ammo a bit fast, can't shoot through walls and requires decent off host connection.

Once I finally got my AP mod, I tackled the Vindicator challenge. It's a weak, frustrating gun, and I don't usually mind playing with the low-level guns. As others have said, it's a step above the Shuriken.
I don't have a levelled Striker on the new account, but at least the Striker feels like a gun.

At least the Striker can kill Phantoms fast and keep Goons and things like that off you and your team. Everything else can face my Krogans forehead Mwrahhaahah! Vindicator, it kills everything slowly. Yeah, it may work on a TGI though.

The Striker is better. It's decent for gold, assuming you have powers that deal with bosses. I usually put it on the krosol, and focus my shots on mooks, while I let Inferno grenades eating the bigger units. As a style bonus, it's good to have a weapon that staggers but still feels kroganish.
The Vindicator is pure crap.

I just haven't used anything other than a Venom or Scorpion on him in quite a while. It's fair to say I regard the Cryo Falcon to be the single justification for that evolution, but it's usually one of the Human Engineers I give the job to.

Striker easily.
As others have mentioned already it's crap at damage but good at stagger and ammo priming, so it does at least have some utility. The vindicator's just plain bad at everything.
Chain overload geth engineer's a decent choice, use the striker to spray and prime spawns then detonate the lot. Chews through thermal clips at an insane speed though.

The Striker a bad weapon??
I find it to be a great weapon at least for Gold. Put that thing on the TGI and give it some Incendiary Ammo III or IV. With this setup, I would say it is even overpowered for Gold. This is likely a Platinum-worth setup.

Guys, seriously: Turian soldier. Striker on the Tsol is cheese on gold. Use incendiary ammo + concusive shot after marksman and/or for bosses. When you think a specific weapon sucks balls, toss it on the Tsol because you do never know... The only weapons that is beyond helping is the poo launcher aka Krysae. Also, INB4 my 750 rpm Vindicator. Gun fires like if it was full auto Spam fire is real.

While I'm not a great fan of the Krysae, I reckon only someone who used it pre-nerf could consider it a poo launcher. It's still a noob-friendly easy gun to use, and your TSol for one should absolutely destroy things with it, even post-nerf. It's firing rate isn't too bad - it's the length of the reload animation that really kills its effectiveness, so it's mostly about decent reload cancelling, and half of the time Marksman takes care of that for you.
