Teleports half way across the map and 1 hits you from 10 meters away, instant execution? Whoever designed this enemy has no business in game development unless it's Dark Souls.

completely disagree, other than the Hydra, the Acended is the easiest boss to kill. his ball of death is extremely easy to kill, as long as you are not using shotguns, pistols, assault rifles and sniper rifles all do significant damage to that ball. and you can take down its health very quickly once it has no shield. and his attacks are very easy to avoid. if you teammates know how to focus fire, Acended can be easily taken care off.
Even if you find yourself in a sticky situation, you still have your cobra rockets, and the cobra rockets are design to help you kill bosses very quickly, when it is deemed necessary.

Don't drag Dark Souls down to the same level as this train wreck. The one time Dark Souls had a cheap, unfair boss the lead developer publicly appologised for it.

I find them easy, or at the very least, easy to avoid. Both their ranged attacks are telegraphed far in advance. If he tries to Stasis you, dodge out. That's it; that's his whole kit. The sync kill even has its own unique sound effect. And his orb stops when he uses any attack. Fiends are way more problematic. They're too damn big and their sync kill is literally broken to where they can be down a hall and yank you over Scorpion style.

We wouldn't consider him OP if all of the weapons, powers, combos and power recharge times weren't completely pathetic. If the ascendant was in me3mp, we'd all be laughing at him and complaining about how easy he is. It would take a reegar AIU around 5 seconds to melt him, or a talon GI a few brief moments to destroy him. Or just imagine what you could do to him with a single cloaked & debuff-enhanced javelin shot. Andromeda's broken.

Ascendants are nowhere near as scary as a Banshee / Geth Prime / Praetorian/ Scion in ME3 was. Once the orb is shot down they die quite fast. Their fire bubble can be dodged easily. All we need to take care for is not getting to close and evade if they teleport at us.

Asari Huntress. More people should use it, dont you think?

Guys,we can complain and whine all day long, but let's leave any threats out of equation. Video games market is huge and if something pisses off you so bad, better find new game. Just my 2 cents

Fiend is worse. His animations are broken to the point that you are in his mouth one frame after you spot him 50 metres away.
The Ascendant is not AS bad I feel BUT the problem is his sync-kill begins instantly when he is in range. Because of the way the maps are you can be on a platform edge area and not see him and he teleports up from below or down from above and instantly begins the animation. He is also silent, as is the Fiend, so this appearing from nowhere is particularly problematic.
But like I said the Fiend just takes the micky.

What actually happens is that the Ascendant makes a trap for you on the floor below your character, that you can move out of to avoid the sync kill. (Just do a dash) You have to be quick on your fingers though, and I suppose if you have a shitty connection to the host, that could be why it's felt as instant. It's not though.

Hmm I got eaten by a Fiend so I was watching my friend playing and he was host and got trapped by Ascendant and I watched him dash multiple times but was unable to escape the bubble. If there is such a moment where the bubble can be escaped I would say it's incredibly difficult to time.

If you happen to round the corner and run into it - it is pretty instant. Now, you can just avoid running around corners, but untargetted AoE syncs a still a shit design, imo.

If you are bubbled, it is already too late (Unless your team reacts fast and cobra's the Orb, as this will break the sync kill) The trap is laid out before the animation happens. I'll see if I can't get a recording of it next time I play Kett. The Fiends animation can be broken as well using Cobras.
