So I think the patch actually added in more bugs than it fixed.

I agree.. before the patch i had no problems playing. yes the animation had the same issues, but no CTD's. After the patch, ive had nothing put CTD's. i finally disabled the cloud sync and its made it playable. but anytime i go to the map, Strike team, AVP or Email. there is a very good change it freezes. then i have to Ctr, Alt, delete.

Yup. It keeps getting stuck in my saves as well, plus it deleted or made an entire new Scott Ryder beginning I had started disappear. I had made sooooo much and when I tried to enter it the next day, there was no Scott Ryder to play with

No doubt about it. Prior to the patch I had a few random screen freezes which I attributed to overlay problems. Also, DRM accused me several times of trying to steal the game, which promptly bounced me back to desktop.

After the patch, more worrisome problem of BSOD, which Windows 10 seems to deal with more effectively. The cause was memory write errors, which may mean they have some errant pointers floating around. Then some annoyances like the bracketed numbers in the convo wheel. However, the appearance of those numbers may indicate where the pointer problem lay. Just a guess on my part.

I also wonder about the numbering: 1.05. I'm thinking this may indicate that they already had 4 patches in-house, so probably knew of some of the problems before release date, but again, just a guess.
