The game used to load pretty quickly for me, and there was some text flashing on the loading screen that went by so quickly I was unable to read it. However for the last few days when I'm on a loading screen I can read this text (it says 'building shaders') and I can often count the increments in the numbers. It now sometimes takes a minute on loading screens.
I could understand this (to an extent) if it had always been like this, but it just started a few days ago. I was wondering (1) whether anyone else has just started experiencing this; and (2) whether anyone has any suggestions to get it back to the way it was.
As an fyi, I did do a Windows 10 update a few days ago, although I can't be certain the two events are related. However, I need the Windows 10 update to fix a Windows Explorer bug with reading .mod files.

Yes it does this for a good while and then half the time I get stuck on the loading screen and have to do it all over again.  It loaded really fast before the patch and that bug was rare, that's why I've shelved the game for a few months til it's fully patched. |

I did initially with slow down but now it builds super fast. Not sure if it's remembering and doing a quick check.

I went back to veold yesterday chasing stupid side quests for some reason I dont even know, first time back there since the patch. Imagine my surprise when it slowly loaded in ever single object seperately when I went to a forward station. Took a good 45 seconds before my character appeared and could move.

What does it matter if it loads a little longer if everything is stuttering at 20 fps in the first minute that you load into the game, with half of the assets still loading in the background. I prefer it this way.
Btw I didn't notice a longer loading time myself - installed on SSD, but the performance is a little less choppy the first minute compared to before.
