Oh really? 4 weeks in I hadn't noticed, thanks for this thread, I was about to use one.

pirahnas great at close range. You need to get it up to the duodenum to fire. Anything past the jejunum and youre basically wasting your shot.

Its because you havent used it with the Asari Huntress. While wearing red. And only targeting the Ascendant.

I finally unlocked the Talon at level 4 with mods.  Superior to any shotgun currently.
Using it on my human infiltrator and sentinel build. Loving the one headshot kills. Ran with a Kitnana level 10 and it was subpar.

Under no circumstance will I ever equip my Krogan with a Sniper Rifle (or Pistol).

Its just wrong.

vanquisher + predator = win on any kit

most of the guns drag to one side or the other, the talon normally shoots where your aiming it so the main difference is the talon actually hits with more reliability  with more pellets (and the same for the piranha if your close enough) so despite it being listed as doing less the accumulation of all those extra pellets landing means its doing substantially more than say the katana,

you can test it i'm sure if your hosting and using something to monitor the data stream for hit registrations...

personally I found when using the talon I was consistently getting granted weakpoint medals whereas I never got one with any other shot gun /

Talon with the barrel and clip mods is pretty good if you want a CQC experience. The only assault rifle I've found worth using is the Revenant with a Turian or anything that has some accuracy/stability passives. I hear the Falcon is good too (I have one at III but haven't used it in a kit yet).

This! You need to wear RED OP. Then you'll be able to equip and use your shotgun again, trust me, I'm a genie

The Hesh is quite good on Human Infiltrators. If you move fast and flank the enemies up close, you will be surprised by how good it can be.

Also the Scattershot is not too bad on Biotic kits. If you shoot nonstop you will overheat very quickly, but if you shoot sporadically between power casting it does a decent job and never overheats. I got my 140k Challenge complete using it on the Human Adept.

Those two and the Piranha are good, the rest are crap.
