EDIT: Updated for Patch 1.06/7 I decided to remove the tables and just have charts because they are way too time consuming to fill out in posts when there is no way to directly copy data. These charts show potential DPS and don't account for accuracy, classes used, headshots, rarity, weight and level. So this data presumes that all bullets will hit so in game results will vary. Here I've made a comparison between patch 1.05 and patch 1.06 DPS to show how significant the buffs were, all weapons are X with magazine and barrel if they can be equipped. These charts aren't perfect and are just to show a general DPS level of weapons. Here's an example of my formula, the Avenger for example: Damage with barrel: 60.50, Magazine with mod: 45, reload speed: 1.5 seconds, ROF: 5.25 Seconds per magazine: 45 / 5.25 = 8.57 Amount of reloads in 20s - seconds / (seconds per mag + reload time): 20/(8.57/1.5) = 1.9 Seconds reloading: 1.9 * 1.5 = 2.98 Seconds shooting: 20 - 2.98 = 17.02 Shots per second (different than ROF for single shot/burst fire): 5.25 Shots per 20 seconds: 17.02 * 5.25 = 89.36 Damage per shot: 60.5 Damage over 1s: 5.75 * 60.5 = 317.63 Damage over 20s: 96.5 * 60.5 = 5406.38 (The formula gets a lot more complicated when weapons are single shot because it requires a lot of IF statements) Patch 1.05: Post Patch 1.06/7: Direct Comparison: Notes: - Soned had 0.5 reloads per 20 seconds before and was counting that in formula, it's now 0 so has a higher dps - I overestimated the hornet's shots per second, it's only slightly lower - I added the charged venom and lanat, the venom will do a lot of damage if every explosive will hit but they don't... - I added the shadow's calculated numbers, it will only do decent damage without any class buffs. The shadow will do more damage the more you shoot, up to 50%.

Finally. Thank you.
It also confirms my suspicion that Raptor reloads faster.
Is there any chance if you have this written in excel can you make a chart from it, or share the datasheet?

Dude, you are a champion for doing this. I would Like this like 50 times if I could. I can't thank you enough for taking the time to do this. Now I need some time to digest the numbers...

That sweeper dps though.... It has the bioware stamp of approval folks.
lmao@ the valkyrie.... The dps is really bad but the recoil is also so bad you are probably more likely to get half of the dps on this chart. That's a problem for many of the automatics and shotguns too like the soned or hesh, allthough they have accuracy issues and not recoil issues.

Wassup with Hesh? Gem in the rough, or something off in the calculation? The problems with the Hesh is not the damage but the fact that the smart choke and shotgun accuracy buffs don't work. It doesn't matter how much damage you do if half the bullets don't hit. Accuracy scales with level so it needs a high rank and the smart choke needs to be fixed for us to be able to judge it. Edit: This chart also presumes that all shots will hit and that they are shot as fast as possible. Most of the time you are not going to be a situation where you can accurately shoot 2.2 shots per second and hit every time.

It makes me sad to see the soned so high up in potential DPS yet you can't even hit a barn door from 3 feet away.

The accuracy only goes to 38 at max level on the soned and even with a turian soldier with passives, fortify, turbo charge sitting in cover would barely hit anything besides a hydra.

I have noticed that the Equalizer seems to reload faster if it's not overheated. I'm not 100% sure on this though. But if that's the case, a player would want to fire as much as possible without overheating (theoretically 1% charge but in practice probably 5-10%) before waiting for it to recharge/reload fully. Would it be possible for you to investigate the reload/recharge time of overheated vs. not overheated?

No idea why the P.A.W recharges slower with a higher magazine but the others didn't. EDIT: I counted from the time I stopped shooting to the time it hit 100%

Just wondering are the DPS numbers in the table based on overheat or let recharge? If it's for overheat, could you work out the DPSes for let recharge?

Wow.... I find it hard to believe Revenant DPS is not that far from Hurricane DPS.
Hurricane practically has no reload time compare to Revenant....
Revanant is terrible.

Up close, and given a lot of time. It only reloads like once for every 6 or so hurricane reloads, meaning it does better over time, but is less bursty. It is also not very accurate, so it is harder to maintain full dps. Not that it shouldn't be buffed, Most weapons need a lot more help though

May the Mass Effect girl(s) of your choice visit your dreams tonight and calibrate your weapon not once. but multiple times! I'm not good with numbers, but I tried different load outs with the Revenant (V) in hopes of making it work but somehow it always requires assault rifle amp booster (minimal) to have a good TTK. (on Turian kits) The Hurricane (I) for that matter doesn't. I run the hurricane on Asari Adept (without boosters) and Kinecticist (with ammunition booster) and it chunks armor

I found Revenant so underwhelming compared to Hurricane in just about every situation with every character... but to be fair, I haven`t really played any soldier character in depth.
