We've already had a gimmicky reason why the Krogan are dandy now, so how about the Quarians? 600 years in stasis slowly being introduced to air should sort it out.

I sure hope so! They are iconic.
But if not I wonder if they have those black lines and purple skin and black hair or if they'll pick a new design.

Even if they have adapted to the Milky Way on the 600 year voyage, they're going to encounter completely new things in Andromeda which they'll need time to adapt to, so there is no way to justify them not needing them in a future game. They can't adapt to things they've never encountered.

Suits are an ultimate way to reduce resources necessary to create apparent diversity, but I would love it if the solution went part-way, keeping the elaborate headdress, and showing some Quarians with full masks, and some with partial masks like one of the Asari characters in MP. I also would love them to have small, luminous eyes, something that the images hint at in the OT.

Could do, but none of the other races have developed a massive immune response to almost everything they encounter, so it's only a certainty for the Quarians.

Even if they don't, I still expect the quarians will wear them. Tali talks about how much they have become a part of their culture so even after adjusting to Rannoch they might still wear them. True, but they might not have full helmets, perhaps just the scarf-looking cloth. Heck, even if they still wore them, now would be as good a time as any for them to have transparent visors. There was never really a reason for that except the meta "We haven't designed their faces". Anyway, I think it would be interesting if they didn't need them anymore. It would be cool to have them live on a world with turians. If their Ark has a Pathfinder and therefore a SAM (likely), perhaps it could have found a solution based on its Pathfinder and applied it to the others, like how the Geth integrated with quarian suits in ME3 if you made peace.

Personally I'd rather they keep the tinted visors, but that's mainly because I like tinted visors over transparent visors. I can see them doing that, or doing like what happened with the krogan during the voyage and getting gene therapy while they were in stasis, just this time making their immune system better rather than increasing their fertility and virility rates.

So...do they poop in those suits?
If so, might be hard to give em up. Nothing like pooping as you go (ie, fox-trotting). Also a good way to alleviate tension when dealing with difficult people. The mask would help cover the dazed-eye look that accompanies a good poop, so no one would ever know...

I'd assume so, the suits are iconic. Imagine the outrage if they were removed completely.
Hopefully we see some Quarians without their suits, it's possible they could have undergone gene therapy like the Krogan, although it would have been less effective.

I believe it's been implied the the quarians generally have a lower immune system, even setting aside the difficulties of being in space for so long. I think she said that's part of the reason why they preferred to retake Rannoch rather than settle elsewhere.

I just don't know how hey look! Some say the Tali design isn't canon
we need a quarian squadmate (can be bi male so guys have gay liens! And straight girls get Wuarians too since they never could)
but he could not wear wear the suit in some scenes and say he only wears it when he wants to be battle ready. Maybe even show him take the helmet off

Tali talks about how there is a theory that quarians evolved a lower immune system as part of a symbiotic relationship with the plants on Rannoch.

Better question:
Will Quarians wear the same kinds of suits they wore in ME 2 and 3?
I'd like to see Quarians with different kinds of helmets and covering fabric/hoods/scarves/ponchos

I was a little disappointed when the info on Peebee came out and it listed her as a 'gunslinger'

Three possibilities:
1)Wish Come True - They lose the suit (or at least its veiling element) and they move onward into a new and more, um, facial(?) future! May the bad Photoshop be the nasty start of something beautiful!
2)Best of Both Worlds - They also lose the suit and we see faces, but the mask stays for various lore and character reasons, but also because it means less effort required to represent Quarians now and especially in a future game that tries to pinpoint on polished facial animations.
3)Lowered Expectations - Bioware couldn't even do the other races right, how can you even hope they'll put interesting effort into this one? They stick around more for fanservice than anything else, and get essentially (even if not technically) ported over suit textures and they keep the suits and masks for X reason now stop being so entitled!
I actually don't hope for #1. I think it'd be neat if some keep the suits, including facial masks, for various technical, biological, cultural, and social reasons. 'Old habits dying hard', though its nice to think that no matter the result of ME3 (even if this does weaken the effect of these results), there's some sort of Quarian out there, in Andromeda, quickly or (better IMO) gradually adapting to no longer needing their covering, even if perhaps feeling affinity for it in strange and perhaps rather personal ways. (I'm not drawing parallels to hijab no sirrie)
I'd assume any DLC happens in some form. Stuff like getting Asari and Turian ark/pods may be more optional because there's always many on the Nexus, but if there's a Quarian(etc) ark DLC, I suppose events of it would be forced to happen in some, even if maybe less successful way.

And straight girls get Wuarians too since they never could) but he could not wear wear the suit in some scenes and say he only wears it when he wants to be battle ready. Maybe even show him take the helmet off I think the edited photo we saw in ME3 was a rushed representation that they for whatever flub thought was good enough. Facepalm, yes, but I think if we see a Quarian, they'd be more similar to humans than any other species (even asari, at least sorta), but with added otherworldly elements. This though maybe not quite so human (the skin tone is especially unnecessary): I think they had an okay idea, and I guess that idea is that the Quarians have an aesthetic is like ... I dunno, something like 'synthetic, organic artistry'. Like a sort of transhumanity (that isn't actually transhuman) that has some visualizations and aspects of a future humanity, without actually being so. There's differences in body shape, eyes, speech, and so on, but when I've looked at them pre-ME3 and then with whatever they offered in ME3, I saw a species that was the most like what-if humanity took a different track. That said, I can understand the 'non-canon' argument. How is she even uncovered... anywhere? Let alone 'outside'. Either its a handwave (most likely), non-canon (weird given its placement), or there's the most crazy and unknown story concepts at play (WOWOWOOWWWW TIME TRAVELZZZZ MIND ILLUSIONS etc) that we wouldn't know anything about yet anyway so whatever. But I don't think Bioware would only toss 'whatever' in. That may have been their approach to finally putting it there, but not where they'd get all the ideas from. Of course they had discussions about how Quarians would look. EDIT: Yes I know this applied i.imgur.com/ZSXzNJs.jpg but original concepts aren't the same thing as what I was talking about.
