Nope. Still playing and finding new things. Tryng new things. Experimenting and having fun! yeah I've only done one full playthrough but I want to go back and try things I didn't do first time out and I know there are quests in the game that I didn't do first time out either. I've only really come away to give it a chance to be patched up a bit before going again as I did face a few problems as it did stutter a lot and crash but it looks like 1.05 fixed those issues but I won't know for certain till I play again which I intend to do when I finish my latest run of ME3 about halfway through so far as I'll be curing the genophage again shortly got a couple of other small things to do first though. Yeah and I actually took my time and in the Eos vault found new convos with my squad I never knew of even!

Not yet... Multiplayer is where the fun is at at the moment. One thing is for sure though, the replayability of single player is pretty low. Considering there's not really any game changing choices, "trying a new class" is not a thing when I can respec for cheap, and I don't really want to do all that travel to do fetch quests on the 5 planets again. I couldn't bring myself to do a second playthrough of DA:I... or Witcher 3 for that matter. Those large semi-open world games are too intimidating to start over, and offer very little incentive to do so. Yet, I could do several playthrough of the ME trilogy in succession, because there's little down time and tons of replayability options. Bioware games have not evolved well. It's funny you should mention that because I got 60+ hours into my first Witcher 3 playthrough and decided that I had made a mistake choosing Triss over Yennifer, so I started over from scratch. TW3 is funny that way.

Maybe about 40 hours in, I decided that I was just going through the motions of the game and decided to take a break and I haven't gotten back to it in about 3 weeks. I don't know, it just feels so much like boring chores and characters I cannot care less about that I've lost all motivation to play the game. Has anyone else got the same feeling? Just replying to point out the double negative.

Yeah and I actually took my time and in the Eos vault found new convos with my squad I never knew of even! yeah my firstSara was mostly Biotic but only with a couple of tech skills incinerate and tactical cloak I never really touched the tech or combat trees much so never really played with those powers first time out so would like to do that next time out with my Scott. Also got a Vanguard build I wantto try on a Sara as well so I've kind of got 2 playthrough's planned that I'm thinking I might do back to back once I'm through ME3. Of course that depends on how the game runs this time now that 1.05 has been applied. If it's still performing awkward I might stop after the Scott run and have a go at the DA series again seeing as I have a set of heroes planned for those games and after playing a lot of ME lately I could probably do with a break but I suspect I'll be playing |ME a lot this year anyway. As I thoroughly enjoyed my first run and loved the story and hte various options that present themselves in it. I'm just a little annoyed over the technical issues that the stuttering and crashing was throwing my way.

I am taking longer to finish than I would have.
But I'm enjoying my second playthrough a little more.
The only problem is knowing those little BS moments are coming.
Off to Elaaden today btw.

I understand how you feel. I felt exasperation and boredom too. I always took the opportunity to rest my eyes during the endless cycle of space travel animations. I glanced through subtitles during dialogues, picking out any important stuff; I didn't bother to try to understand anything else about the companions, I was already put off 20 hours in. I was extremely annoyed with one or two side missions. Yes, I did those because I'm a completionist. I can play DAI 20 times and I'll still do everything and enjoy it. Not so for MEA. I already know the new mea team do not care for the lore of MET so there's no point getting upset over the stuff they put in. I just ignore it. Still, I finished the game because I enjoyed the combat, the planet explorations, driving in the Nomad. I focused on those positive aspects that I like. Everything else I just ignored because it's too much energy wasted on negative feelings.

Still on my first playthrough. 60 hours in. Eagerly awaiting the chance to start a second PT, and been playing pretty much every day since launch.

Still debating on exactly how I am going to do PTs number 2 and 3 though whether they will be with NG + and if I will take a second crack at making both Ryder twins custom.

Yup, I think I'm done with the game, the problems with it are too fundamental (bad writing and boring quest design) for any number of patches to fix, unless they are going to turn it into a whole new game. Right now it's as shallow as a puddle. Shame really, so much wasted potential.

I beat the game so I went back and restarted The Witcher 3. After finishing that for the 4th time, I'll move onto some shorter games that I still need to play.
I'll come back to MEA when the first story DLC arrives.

Finished it with about 70 hours of playtime, did a lot, but not everything. But once was enough unfortunately. Will wait for DLC and hope it's got a more interesting story and better characters. It's subjective of course, and I think there's plenty of room for people that enjoy the game, or don't, here. I literally live around Mass Effect all day. Posters everywhere, art pieces, busts, you name it. So no one was more disappointed than me in the new game. Had a couple of cool moments but that was it. I'm hopeful going forward things will get better as Bioware tends to pay attention to feedback.

Got through once in close to 90 hours, finishing all missions and most tasks, and stopped playing on the 6. of April.
Played through NieR Automata twice in the meantime... all endings besides Y, and still loving it.

Same here. I got bored and stopped playing by around 35 hours in. No planning on playing it again due to the insipid story, uninteresting characters, insane amount of boring fetch quests, bugs and glitches.

I can totally sympathize with this. It did feel like going through the motions at times, especially during fights. There was very little variety of enemies. Mostly Kett/Remant bots. All Remnant vaults were the same. Same big worm creature. Everything about each planet was basically the same, except for the scenery. Just wash rinse and repeat.

Just replying to point out the double negative. There's no double-negative here. That's a correctly worded statement. He could not care any less than he presently cares for those characters. My first playthrough was 120 hours/98%. I'm well along in my NG+, now, having just achieved 100% viability on Elaaden during my 2 hours of play, earlier. The improved faces and lighting are nice, but I'm also experiencing few bugs, this time. I've encountered several minor quests that I didn't encounter the first time. One of them is bugged (sigh), but it's otherwise been smoother sailing. My current Sara is a visual work of art, bearing little resemblance to the initial scan. (I really like both faces I've used for her. It's funny how just a face can make them feel like different persons.) I'm going to use this NG+ to mop-up most of the trophies I don't have (I'm only 72% on trophies), and then start a fresh Level 1 Scott. My gripes with the game were mostly technical in nature. It's not a perfect game, but I'm enjoying it quite a bit. It's great to be playing Mass Effect again!

I'm still playing..on Veold right now. Game is a mixed bag for me. Characters are just not interesting and the only one that is the least bit interesting is Jaal when he is riding around in the Nomad. I had Cora and Vetra in the Nomad on two separate occasions and it seemed like he was flirting with both of them!.... ...... if the opportunity presented itself, Jaal could probably pipe down both of them. Other than that, i appreciate what the team tried to do in terms of side missions and making the game as big as it can be and i gotta be honest, the worlds i've seen feel fully realized and they look great, but the side missions and ALOT of them just feel like uninspired GRIND missions with no real rewards for traveling across the map (even with fast travel) it can take a minute to get to the mission. Another annoying aspect coupled with getting to these side-missions is how the route becomes blocked by these big-ass mountains that have you wondering how do you either get around or get to the to the missions marker in general....too many times i had to travel around a mountain, fighting annoying respawning enemies only to find out that mission marker is either not there or at some other obscure location. I'm a completionist, but this game is testing that aspect to the MAX.. ...........if the missions just felt a little more rewarding with maybe a cutscene or some in depth information? IDK, it would just make these missions seem a bit more worthwhile....you complete the mission and that's it...on to the next one after traveling for over 20 minutes doing fetch quests...it just feels flat. I'm going to keep playing tho, because somehow i want to think that the game will get better at some point.....again tho the planets feel fully fleshed out and i kinda feel like they put alot of work into crafting those planets and all of those side-missions that i have seen so far, because there are a TON of them. So i really am trying to not criticize too much because i know just from the side-missions alone Bioware was trying to give us the biggest game they possibly could...but idk...the characters and the rewards for doing these side missions just feel a wee bit uninspired.

I haven't paid any attention to the multiplayer side. I'm curious if the multiplayer ever took of or not, anyone?
