Has anyone else just stopped playing?

It took me a long time to create a character I would want to progress through the game with. Once I found one that was passable the game became quite enjoyable as long as you don't look at the eyes.

Are you kidding? I love Mass Effect. Andromeda has a ton of quirks that annoy me (e.g. only getting to use 3 powers). However, it occupies a certain nice that other shooting games have yet to do. I love being an adept or engineer, as I can essentially use magic to implement my shooting.

That doesn't sound like it's going to be a very successful MP with the way things are right now.  


 

I've finished it once already, and now I am waiting for a patch to fix the NG+ issues so I can do that. MP got stale fast with the few maps and few "missions" in them, I'm missing escorts and all that. But need more maps for sure above all.

So yeah, I'm on a break too.

Yep. I jump in now and again to achievement hunt and will do another play through on highest difficulty at some point but just got a bit bored. Played 80+ hours so defs got my money's worth. Got FFXV the other day for free and enjoyed that. Also started another Witcher play through and Andromeda just can't measure up to something like that

I did my usual thing.

- Normal for story.
- Hard for the complete opposite of choices of first.
- Getting ready for a insanity play (challenge) once the game gets patched abit more. Too many crashes and bugs that make it hard to play.

Enemies though do not stop scaling so it should be interesting to verse level 100+ enemies on insanity.

Motivation side doesn't really exist but it's the routine of it that i force myself to do.

Possibly for you waiting for the patches or DLC to hit might be enough motivation for you.

Mind you the lack of choices in the game and outcomes has affected how much replay value is there. Tried every choice so far all sides and nothing really changes for most things.

You cannot really be renegade in MEA at all. The choices regardless seem to throw you in the good boy side with a attitude.

Compare ME 2 choices to MEA choices and you can see they have thrown you in the role of good guy.

Mass Effect 1 combat is the gold standard compared to The Witcher.  I've never seen such an over rated POS. 

I'am doing my 2-nd playthrough with Sara, but really slow this time - completely opposite choices to my 1-st with Scott, just to see will it make any difference at the end.
I spend a lot of time on changing Sara's clothes, crafting and talking with some random people, changing profiles and abilities, as main story is not very interesting, so trying to do something different.

I assume it will take lighting years before i will finish, as i just got BF1 premium, also planning to re-play Witcher 3 with all DLC's, so...

I finished the game last night, and I think I'm done. Didn't have that desire to immediately want to fire up another game. They need to fix the bugs and technical issues before they release any DLC for this game. That stuff really sapped a lot of enjoyment playing the game.

Did my one and only PT. Did a few random side quests, but 60 hrs in total.

Multiplayer is very unstable but that's what p2p servers get you. There's the issue that Andromedas multiplayer is just a copy/paste of ME3 which isn't going to get people excited , no one wants to do the same thing over and over again but on prettier graphics. The weapons are also very unbalanced resulting in various people having to fight bulletsponges untill RNG grants them one of the few weapons that can do damage.

multiplayer has underachieved pretty much and one should only play it if they've got the patience for it.

Depends on who you ask. It is fairily lively where I play (NA) and I think it's fun, but there are complaints about it containing less maps/chars and feeling underpowered with most weapons/powers compared to ME3MP. It does not have obvious show stoppers like DA:I, but a lot of folks do repot consistent connection to host problems. It has a lot of things I do like ( how chars look, ability to edit their names and bios, strike teams integration and the crazy pace that leaves me in the dust of savvy players) but I am a casual scrub.
