Go to any colony world. Finish up the initial area--talking to people, cutscenes, whatever. Now open your map. What are 2/3s of the markers for? this argument defeats itself. If you finish all the meat and potatoes on your plate of course you will only have popcorn left.

Oh for the love of pete.
How does it defeat itself? I said, as soon as you open the map. So before you DO anything on that planet. So no, I didn't finish "all the meat and potatoes." I just looked at the plate. I got a meat and two veg and the rest was parsley.

Re glitches. I've only got one animation T-pose, and it was a background NPC in the Hyperion med-bay, so if I didn't know I would have taken it for a futuristic medical exam procedure position.
But if you imagine that the game makes a 2.5% chance of putting a random NPC in a T-pose glitch per hour of gameplay, then by some Murphy's law of large numbers of players, someone will have a major cutscene ruined.

I'm a completionist, and for me, the quests are repetitive fetchers. That's just about every RPG computer game I've ever played. For about $70 I got over 100 hours of enjoyment and entertainment. Hell of a lot cheaper than going to the movies... plus I get replay-ability. I've almost 300 hours of practically bug-free playing experience and multiple playthroughs and romance options. I've been watching the internet... there are no widespread reports of a seriously buggy game with Andromeda. Every game I've every played has bugs, the unusually buggy ones will stand out on Google. So you and some others have had buggy experiences... it's not as widespread or as problematic as you make it out to be. I'm no fanboy of Bioware. Seriously hated the ME3 ending AND the shitty "it's art" way they handled it... nor is Andromeda very lore-friendly and is about as nonsensical (in that respect) as Cerberus having an army in ME3. But still it's a fun game.

*sigh* Read through the 13 point list. At least the person I was talking to on that page acknowledged I had legit reasons. You can also look at the EA Answers/Help page and see how many people are having the same problems. Whatever. I'm done here.

Id say they're widely known since the game has been nothing but a meme joke and reviews have brought them up negative or positive. Some people just like to downplay the issues, that's how you end up with an MCC people (still broke to this day). this is the buggiest bioware game I've played to date.

If you haven't encountered much of this, feel lucky. Most of us have. I don't doubt that several of you have, but I think the claim that "most" people hit all of those bugs is hyperbolic. Anyway, no, I haven't hit any of them.

I don't find the dialogue bad. And even the worst lines of ME:A is comparable to some of the worst dialogue to the MET.

You don't have to experience or agree with them for them to be actual problems. Most of them aren't things to agree or disagree with, they just are. Whether one thinks all these issues make a game good or bad is of course up to that individual's opinion. But denying any of the issues actually exist is just people arguing for the sake of arguing.

While I agree BioWare's handling of incorporating 'open world' elements in their game hasn't fulfilled the promise it could have (especially MEA), I disagree that they should go back to linear-style games. IMO, there is a lot potential there that is simply... untapped. It's not the open regions that are a problem, it's what you do in them. Through the story, I'd love to have more opportunities to make a real, tangible impact on the region you're in (eg. Crestwood quest). Being able to build, destroy, or change the region over time and seasons. Opening up new avenues to explore through your actions, but always with an eye on the story surrounding the reasons why you're doing these things, and how those actions impact the overall narrative. The Frostbite engine, especially if they decide to dive into photogrammetry, is just too good to waste on just linear-style gaming. I love exploration, so long as it's meaningful and not just a series of fetch quests and shallow side missions. I want to believe BioWare can find that balance. I wouldn't even say untapped. But dormant. The first two Baldur's Gate games were semi-open world, and they were games that put Bioware on the map. They just have to strengthen muscles they haven't flexed much in the last decade. And learn how not to trap players in a constantly respawning bear conga line... Yet they did that...can we honestly call Dragon Age: Inquisition an open world?
