Aside from the usual JRPG tropes you already have an option even in Witcher. You can put Geralt on a muscleman bicept bulging feline armour or the full monty of ursine.

FFS they are called riding boots. They were used during that times to allow better horse usage.

Geralt fights on foot as a witcher. Ciri is more interested in avoiding and running from the Hunt. She tells you that using her power was dangerous as they would track her down. So horseback and you keep running.

Please drop your blatant obsession with SJW and actually see that both those characters were in blatantly different situations. Geralt has to track stuff on FOOT, has to enter caves etc on FOOT and fight monsters again on FOOT. They both are wearing proper shoes for their respective situations.

Riding for Geralt is just transportation, for Ciri her very life depends on it. Besides Geralt can Axii his horse for more control, that option is not available to Ciri either.

She's the Lady of Space and Time. She doesn't rely on horses in the books or in the game. The person who has a horse gimmick is Geralt - who names his horses Roach. Your spin-doctor treatment is weak. 

You are a blithering idiot when she tell you using her power draws the hunt, IE She has to use manual methods of travelling. Besides you are ignored as all you do waste space by posting useless fuking gifs. Either comment properly or dont bother.

Face it, you have no decent answer for why it's really needed for her, but not Geralt, who depends on a horse to get around and has had many he's named Roach. 

Geralt is on horseback 90% of the game, at least as much, if not much more than Ciri is depicted as being. Can you find the same footwear as her on any other male characters in the game? Do you want to explain to me why Yenn's DLC outfit has her showing leg, and Triss' has her midriff and boobs showing? Are you going to argue that is based in historical accuracy as well? All I said was that the game was catering to female sexual appeal, that is not even a criticism.
