The Witcher 3 and Mass Effect Andromeda thread

You cannot even compare main story or side-quests in those two. Completely different weight. In W3 you have quests about being beaten by a drunk husband, losing child, about killed parents, loneliness etc.
No way you can compare it to Andromeda, W3 is for adults, Andromeda is good even for 12 years old schoolboys.

Andromeda starts with your own parent dying to save your life, your twin gets tortured and screams in your ear, your mother is in cry because she is dying and you see it slowly erode your father; you see someone coming to terms with his entire race being a creation of the machines; creatures being torn apart; predatory race taking over the others while letting them keep their memories... but, of course, a digitized wife-beater is much better. That's the secret right there. Gritty realism ftw. yeah... I'll, again, stick with Andromeda.

Forgot to add, is the wife-beating scene well-animated? Is it voiced sufficiently well? Is there enough blood and does bruising show up on the bodies? Bones got broken? Does he rape her too afterwards? What about kids? Are they crying? Got beat up? Raped? Does geralt get to watch? Common, do go one telling us just how awesome that all makes the Witcher.

Neither.

They are all just acting silly.

Can we say the same tothose who don't like mass effect andromeda as well in the number of posts on here?

To be fair, only one witcher game is really worth playing to begin with.

Then do educate me, because you've played it and really enjoyed it. Was it well-animated, that whole famous and gritty wife-beating that elevates the Witcher above all other RPGs?

Witcher 1.
Definitely will agree about poor combat and progression, but main story ? Pretty amazing. It's not only me, just look on reviews - both professional and normal people like you and me - Enhanced Edition got a very high score, almost everywhere.
I find out long time ago, that a lot of people complain about Witcher 1 because of very different writing style - it is happening somewhere in the middle age in the eastern europe, which many people didn't like from the very beginning - definitely this is not the game for everyone.

Witcher 2.
Was MUCH better. On everything. Show me other games, where you can do 2 COMPLETELY DIFFERENT playthroughs, with different story lines, different quests, on completely different locations. That was a shock for me when i found out that after Iorweth/Roche ACT1 i have to make such a big choice. Never see that before and never after, on such a scale. Same with the story, and the characters. This is the only game i ever played, which you HAVE TO finished TWICE, on both sides, to say that you finished Witcher 2, cause story is SO MUCH DIFFERENT.

Witcher 3.
Well, i don't think i can add something what haven't been mentioned before.

what wife beating?  The off-screen stuff mentioned by the Bloody Baron?  In a realistic and harrowing depiction of alcoholism and dysfunction between family members whom are equally loathsome?

I'am really shocked with some opinions in here. W3 is ONE THE BEST games i ever played in my life /since 1994/, and Hearts of Stone DLC is definitely THE BEST DLC i've ever played, so it's really hard for me to even understand so much hatred for the Witcher series.
I love trilogy, i spend houndred of hours with Shep, definitely my top-3 ever, and i have a lot of respect for other RPG's too - such a shame that some people don't have same respect for Witcher series.

What's the problem ? That some small, independent studio from Poland could do something better than a big, rich giants like BioWare-EA ?
