it's not that I want it. It's that I can see it. I already shown examples of Cora using it and only reason is lacking as a leader is her issue of worshipING heroes. Now that she is getting out of that stage, what exactly is going to hold her back from becoming a good leader. The thing you have yet to point out. where do you see it? When she wallows in her feelings after Sarissa reveals herself for what she is and needing Ryder to kick her out of it? Or when she admits she is happy NOT being the pathfinder? The best she did was parrot Sarissa's manual to Sarissa's second in command to calm her down. Even if she could take charge in a punch she would rather follow and she says so herself. As opposed to Avi who even not liking the role and having lost his mentor immediately stepped up and started being the pathfinder, leading people and organizing them and even trying to find clues (successfully) about the Turian ark. He did not let someone else take the lead. you're going to pick the weakest moment for the character as an example? Please, pick a real counter. And I already gave the example pages ago. And I already told you want Sarissa did does not undo her teachings. Added, it's not what she did that was wrong , it's that she hid it. Her teachings are still valid like.I said befors. Do I have to say agein how you get moral up is not important aND what is this that you do?and avi step up to be pathfinder because of the help of Cora and Ryder.Added he's an ex spectre. He could of easily grove in his potty and be a drunk in a bar. Use some real reason and stop repeating old ones will you.

Which could have been solved in a different and more elaborate way. Just saying, not blaming Bioware for it, just video game writing in general. They're afraid to lose their audience if Johnny or Jane No No isn't placed in the driver's seat within the first couple of hours. There may be some appreciating this approach, but I guess a lot of people would have patience if the story itself is able to take them. you understand that in this day an age the majority of people will just drop a game and return it if it does not suck them in within the first few hours (if not minutes)? Mass Effect Andromeda already started insanely slow if you ask me. And that has what to do with becoming a pathfinder?

I'm not reading all four pages right now, so I'll answer the OP directly.
There are several reasons she is not selected.
* She is not the protagonist.
* All of the reasons, of which we eventually learn, that Alec had for selecting his son or daughter.
* Cora was not a leader, early in the game. Did Alec recognize this, and feel that she wasn't ready? It's not stated directly, so it's up to the player to guess. She eventually grows as a leader and a person; but she would not have accomplished what Ryder accomplished, were positions reversed. She'd have folded under the pressure, likely, or stopped leading as soon as Ark Leusinia was found. Then, Sarissa would've taken over the "lead role", as Cora deferred to the well known war hero. Alternatively, Cora might've bungled that situation and left the AI rudderless, as Sarissa was replaced and Cora felt let down and moped.
The AI succeeds because Ryder is the Pathfinder. Ryder makes the right calls, doing things differently than Cora would have, and it works out for the best. No one we meet would've taken the Initiative as far as Ryder took them, excepting Alec, perhaps.
I could see Cora becoming a Pathfinder, down the road, if the need and/or opportunity arises. She's now gotten over her asari-worship and follower-mentality, so maybe now she's finally ready.
