The writing in Andromeda is, well, not great. It has its fair share of bad quotes, but which one for you stood out?
I'll start with three:
"A dockworker died doing routine maintenance outside the station. His name is being withheld until the next of kin in the Milky Way Galaxy can be notified."
I wonder if there is something that I missing that will make sense of this, which I hear everytime I go to the Nexus.
"I know it should be filted but water is water." - Random Outlaw 137 in Kadara, message found while staring at his corpse.
Gil: I knew coming to Andromeda would be dangerous but this is dangerous. Ryder: Only if we die.
Nicel dialogue.

Well, that is what you get when many writers work on the same project. I think there is also a lot of good writing in it but to stay on topic, for some reason I really hated Liams "Is anybody ever really ready for this" when the Tempest leaves the nexus. That was extremly cliche and cringe worthy and might be the reason I dislike Liam.

My face is still tired after repeated facepalming I spontaneously performed while watching this...
It would be hard to tell what's not wrong with any of the things she says, but if I have to be specific then "Give us the drive core and we'll be friends" stands out. Magnificent delivery of a very Krogan-like line.

This isn't a quote but a comment on Cora. I rarely take her anywhere but took her with Peebee yesterday and as much as Peebee can get on my nerves, Cora was really trying my patience with her constant nagging and griping at Peebee. On and on and on...drove off a few cliffs and even that didn't shut her up. I was hoping SAM would drowned her out but no...Cora just kept on nagging and griping.

"I know! Stop defending them!" ~Aksuul
I mean…what.
In Jaal's loyalty mission, Aksuul makes a terrible case at leveling criticism against the aliens that Jaal and the other Angarans have aligned with. It was just some random slapped together dialogue. I would have taken just about anything else at that point, like: "These aliens don't care about us. Once they have what they want - these vaults - they will take our worlds from us!" I was expecting some kind of xenophobic screed so that he can rally the other Rokaar to him, but I guess he wasn't thinking straight at the moment.

Uuuum hard to say because the game is full of cringe worthy writing.
Anything Morda and Addison say are probably the worst. Especially since Morda doesn't even sound Krogan.
But taking the cake is the whole my face is tired debacle because it summed up the launch of the game..😂

"Why yes, Ryder, I think you're right." "Talking to yourself, Ryder?" "Yeah, I am." "Okay, just checking."
Ryder having a mild case of schizophrenia on Eladeen. I didn't avoid the sarcastic idiot option like the plague to be treated with autodialogue like this.

Convincing people to join a cause without actually saying anything or only saying BS is a hallmark of carismatics leaders, and we were told Askuul was just that. That confrontation shows he was far from it, he felt like a child being told he can't have a toy. And it's telling about the writing quality of Andromeda that that's not even the worst part of the mission.

The idea doesn't have to be particularly complex. The idea that the newcomers will ultimately betray us is fairly straightforward.

Every single line of Sara Ryder expressing romantic interest in another teammate. Sounds like a girl asking a boy to the school dance on the friggen Andy Griffith Show...or any romantic dialogue ever uttered by Toby McGuire.
Oh, and Lexi: "Let's check your salmon plant."

I could buy that if it was actually shown instead of just being told to the player. And also miss the point. The problem is not that he was wrong, is how. His behaviour was not of a charimatic leader, tormented or not.
