The Tempest is about to face the Kett fleet without any support. Cora uses her brains and says that we need a plan. Peebee opens her stupid mouth and says.
"Stop ship, kill jerk."
Peebee is trash.

Worst squadmate since ME3 Jacob. His only saving grace is the comic relief but even that wears thin. I don't buy this jamoke as a former cop or crisis response specialist. He's basically Jenkins if he survived Eden Prime but with half the grit and twice the immaturity. I can't stand this phony dumbass.

There were only two instances that made me actually wince.
SAM says something about "the velocity of thought", or some such. Whoever wrote SAM is generally decent at sciencey dialogue, but here seems to think that "velocity" is a synonym for "speed"
The second was when my Sara spoke to Scott in the infirmary. Such a missed opportunity to inject life into their relationship. Sara asks Scott how both their parents met! And he gives a really mundane answer, surely stuff Sara already knew. She should of asked if he "remembered that anniversary dinner where" Alec said something dumb or poignant or what not about meeting Ellen, and Scott could make a joke at how bad their dad was at showing his feelings or something. This bit was especially flat as the scene is introduced with a smidge of sibling banter.

<snip> "A dockworker died doing routine maintenance outside the station. His name is being withheld until the next of kin in the Milky Way Galaxy can be notified."
I wonder if there is something that I missing that will make sense of this, which I hear everytime I go to the Nexus. <snip> I skimmed the thread and I don't think this was answered. I assumed the dockworker was asari or krogan, meaning his next of kin could still be alive by the time the message reaches the Milky Way. Still goofy, though. Holy crap, you're right.

Looting is wrong.
Pathfinder. Director Addison. Say it loud, let them know, make them lead, or make them go! Clan Nakmorth not taking orderth from nexuth trath anymore, nexuth trath. Thumbody get thith nexuth trath out of my fathe. Anything to do with Liam outside his loyalty mission. I can't believe my Pathfinder said "Looting is wrong" after all those hours of my Pathfinder doing exactly that.

Everything SAM...abofricking lutely everything SAM.
95% of Liam
90% of Cora
80% of Peebee.
I mentioned that line about the dead guy blown out in space before and stupid that was about witholding his name after 600 years, so stupid.
Also of particular cringey noteworthiness was peebees speech after her loyalty mission to everyone. Although, some of their lines back to her were amusing.

I took this to mean that they didn't want to release the name Right. I just forgot about the lifespans of the other species. Mind... blown. So did I... Meaning it's incredibly likely that after the 600+ years to Andromeda, Liara and Grunt are almost definitely still alive. I'm not sure how old Wrex was in the OT but he could still be alive as well. Wow. That's.... awesome. As much as I kind of didn't like Liara being forced down our throats in the original trilogy, it would kind of be awesome if at some point, communication with the Milky Way was established and she was on the other side. I know so many people might hate that but I think it might be kind of cool if done right.

"They're making babies!" - Peebee. Considering that earlier she told me to target the assemblers because they produce other remnant, there's no reason for her to sound so stupid when she sees an architect do the same thing.
"Gravity goes away in 3,2" - Peebee. Just irritating

I don't like the exchange between Liam and Cora on Habitat 7 where Liam says to her, "I didn't know you were biotic" and she replies, "Don't worry, it's not contagious."
Mainly because my Ryder was also biotic and it never gets brought up or acknowledged.

Yeah but it took 600 years to get to Andromeda, another 600 years for a message to get back assuming it takes just as long to travel. Even Asari or Krogan don't normally live that long. At best they're looking for informing grandchildren or decendants, in which case it could be anyone. I just took it as a corny joke.

Lets agree MEA have a lot of awkward lines... I wonder if ME123 combined have as many stupid lines? They have zero. Now how do I remove these rose colored glasses? You can't, it is human nature. After some while, we tend to remember only the extremes. The sum of all good things in MEOT overshadows the sum of all bad things (minus ME3 ending for some). The sum of all bad things in MEA overshadows the good (I think the good things are simply not realy polished). I thought about the exploration-part a bit. To me there is no sense of this typical "what lies beyond the next hill?". Isaid it before, I think this is, to a large part, due to the dozens of navpoints scattering the map... basicaly, I go from navpoint to navpoint, no exploration. Along the way I run, all 100m, into a random encounter camp that may trigger a task. So, how about they had added a few maps like in ME1? Not as polished and filled like the few we have, but some pretty empty planets just to drive on, and THERE happen all the random encounters. Some "run of the mill" planets where we can go for fights and loot and maybe some research points and ressources. At least it would save us being annoyed by fire every 2 minutes.

MEA has issues, for me mostly it relates to the UI specifically. I detest the 3x4 skill system which in turn sours my opinion of the game.

"We stay out of people's grief." I can see how people who perhaps don't have a personal perspective on this kinda thing could see that line as poorly done or whatever. I'm a vet dealing with PTSD, and I've worked with other vets with PTSD. If someone wants to talk about it, we'll gladly listen and give support. But we never pry. You don't go digging into other people's pain. This line sums that up pretty well, in my opinion.
