Promoting the game now is the worst marketing move they could possibly make.

I think the idea might be that the changing environment is a big part of Anthem. Not sure how big of a part of a whole experience it could be in Dragon Age though. But I would like to get more changing environments, especially if it turns out that we spend a lot of time in one place (... like a big city?), even if changes are prompted by story segments (like in Crestwood or JoH) rather than this kind of tech.

For anthem they can make up any reason for the frequent weather changes they want: instable planet, alien portal, climate change tipover, ...

For DA4 (if there would be such a thing) they can keep the tech, just make it change less frequently? Or story driven? If you have the tech already anyway, might as well use it, even if not that often.
