I'm pissed if it's gonna be another shoot-loot game like Destiny. Goddamn, is like with that H1Z1 game, now everyone if copying the idea just because it was cool at the moment. And I'm surprised this coming from Bioware, they were a company that made games with a story, even if there is a market for the shoot-loot game, why they have to jump on it? why they couldn't come up with some new RPG game instead of a soulless shooter MMO thing? I mean, we still don't know pretty much anything about the game, maybe is not Destiny 2.5, but I just don't like this whole idea... How do you know it's "soulless"? Do you have access to information we don't yet have? I mean, I assume it's called an action RPG for a reason. I assume its called an action RPG for the looting and grinding |

If the concept was to make a game everyone will be talking about for ages, I dunno, based on very little and early in the reveal evidence, I feel like this is gonna be consistently compared to Destiny and The Division and not stand on its own, we'll see though.

Alright, well, shit. looks like my interest is piqued in a real way. God, I'm such a friggin hypocrite.  I've been dragging my azz around this forum moaning about "it's not for me..MP is not for me..". And now here I am thinking about crews and whatnot. And I despise hypocrisy... Mind you, it's not a guarantee yet. We got a ways to go, and more info to see. But as a gamer, the game comes first. And if it looks good, I'm gaming it. Also, it's not as MP heavy as I thought it might be. At least not from what I can tell so far. There seems to be a gentle balance there. Again, we'll see, though. |

I totally spaced out on the dense city, but you're absolutely right! Definitely puts to bed any lingering concerns that Frostbite couldn't handle Minrathous.  Calling it! Minrathous will be a spraaaaaawling city, major quest hub that'll change with main story and will serve as base for us and our party. Most of everything else will be smaller sections available through eluvians. I WANT TO BELIEVE! And what about Kal-Sharok? Stir some of those gorgeous Descent environments together with a nice dense city hub, that would be some fine dwarven craft. And Rivain and Antiva and the necropolis in Nevarra and... okay maybe I'm getting a little too ambitious here. Love me some cities, though. |
