I can finally say something other than Secret IP

The skull icon has the same shape as the waypoint do, it's only the middle that is different. When Michelle receive "Hell or High Water" the first waypoint icon type show up beside the objectives list. The Shaper Storm one showed up after there was an objective update to "enter the storm". Those two are pretty much quest markers. After defeating the Scar ambush there is a symbol with the same shape beside the "objective completed" but the middle has a target symbol. I think that the white circle + triangle means "objective" and the middle symbol indicate the type.

For the other icons, well the "location type" is very similar to DAI, Skyrim and the Witcher 3 cavern entrance icon and the ruins very much looks inside the mountain/cliff. The "unknown activity" flag was used for checkpoint in DAI going by the legend (I don't remember what checkpoint were though).

I'm not willing to spend 60 quid or whatever it will be to find out, I made that mistake with Fallout 4...

I don't get it either, it does piss me off. The older I've got, the worse it"s become for me.

You missed all the people asking for story co-op ever since BioWare stopped doing in it (last game with it was NWN).



The scene shown in the gameplay trailer in Tarsis wouldn't work in 3rd person. Seems it was done for storytelling reasons to me and also show the Javelin and the character are two separate things.

Between wearing a suit all the time and 1st person in hubs, they are really depersonalizing the game. I'm not sure why they would do that. There is a reason the main characters always take off their helmets/masks in movies (even in situations where it makes absolutely no sense). Also why helmet toggles are so popular in games. Possibly we will see our faces more than I'm currently thinking, but it doesn't look promising.

It saves them animating our customized faces. Now they just have to focus on the animation of the NPCs. If you want good animation in a game, its either this or a set protagonist.
