Holding off on my next PT until the next patch is released and fixes some of the bugs I've encountered.

For some reason I have a feeling it'll be a while. Something seems to be up because BioWare has gone all silent on many fronts on social media. First patch happened after 2 weeks but it's been like 3-4 weeks now. Could be because some of the leads have had their vacation just recently too.

No idea. Its been what, 3 or 4 weeks since the first patch? Whenever the next one is coming BW doesn't seem to be in a huge hurry about it.

Hopefully early May for one and then early June for final "2 months plan" patch but ehh, seems less and less likely as we approach May

Looking at DAI patch notes, they seem to release one roughly every month or so.

I understand people want issues fixed, but with all the complaints of bugs introduced with the patch I am happy to wait to make sure that situation isn't repeated with the next patch.

The first patch was probably things that Bioware had identified and was already or had already worked on that couldn't be put in before the game launch, and the day one patch.
I think the next patches are based of feedback or bugs identified by players, and they're pretty much starting from scratch; development, Q & A, getting the certifications, everything.
Just a guess though.

Not really, but Ian is back tweeting again, and mentioned fix coming for a certain bug someone asked about. I am hoping this week, but doesn't seem likely. I have a feeling this will be a monster of a patch.

It's ridiculous, they should release small frequent patches instead of leaving the game in this current state and going silent.

It's ridiculous, they should release small frequent patches instead of leaving the game in this current state and going silent. So you rather have patches that aren't properly tested and break more things then they fix? For that is what we saw with the first patch going by the complaints on the forums. Edit: Grammar Issue.

There is NO way they worked up that first patch in just two weeks. It was already near done at release. EA does NOT like to spend money after a release. Don't be shocked if it isn't tell DLC that you see anything more for this game.

There is NO way they worked up that first patch in just two weeks. It was pretty quick. I suspect that some things (the lack of eye shaders in particular) were actually some screw-up with their software control system and the correct code didn't make it into the release build. Unless BioWare has changed their overall approach to support since DAI, I'd expect they'll be willing to do quite a bit to improve customer satisfaction. The DAI team built and released the Golden Nug and a Black Emporium feature - among other things, too, IIRC - to satisfy requests from the customer base.

I'd rather they push out fixes when they are ready without breaking stuff. Those aren't mutually exclusive. In fact packaging a bunch of random changes into one big update is going to be bother harder to test and more likely to break things then pushing out smaller more focused and frequent updates.

So you rather have patches that aren't properly tested and break more things then they fix? For that is what we saw with the first patch going by the complaints on the forums. Edit: Grammar Issue. Releasing small frequent hotfixes is a lot easier than releasing one big patch. If you release a hotfix and it ends up creating more bugs, besides being incompetent, it is FAR easier to isolate the problem than if you released a patch with hundreds of fixes. The only reason devs continue with the big patch to fix all ills is on console they have to get it certified and it costs money to upload a patch! #PCMasterRace

I'd like to know if they plan on fixing the combat balancing at all, especially the MP. I hate bullet sponges. And I want biotics to be awesome again. SOUND awesome too.
I still haven't played the game, so would be good to know if waiting is worth it or if I'll just get drunk and run through the main story on two weekends, not bothering with MP at all...

Yep, BioWare is up to something, cause it's only 1 month after release date, and in the last two weeks all their social accounts go completely silent. I'm sure they discuss many things we've been discussing here on daily basis, and they don't have other choice like only to improve everything related to Andromeda. Got a feeling they work hard on next DLC, and on some major changes in the main game. I will be not surprised that we will get much more than only CC improvement or alternate outfits.

I'd assume the next patch should be a bit meatier, as they've said they want to address weapon balancing and some other things for it.
