All three. The reality is I'll have a Ryder for each scenario. Depending on what each decision brings my main will likely follow one path much more consistently.

And where's my "I'm not dealing with this shit" option? No? *cough* Nevermind.
Most likely try all 3, then choose which one is my fave.

I'm a pragmatist at heart. Sometimes diplomacy works...sometimes you need to fight something to get what you need. It depends on the situation. ...and, to be honest, on how much I like the species. If there's an asari-analogue in Andromeda (I certainly hope not), I'll pull out my "ruthless conqueror" hat. Assuming I'll play MEA at all, that is. Just now, I'm reading an SF novel that reminds me of my list of things I don't like in the MEU. I guess it shows that the asari are at the top of that list.

I'm essentially going to replay my canon femShep in ME:A. She's a good renegade, basically a braver badass version of myself. So pragmatic colonist would fit that.
After that I'll explore the extremes, being nice to a fault then being more ruthless and hard nosed.

I'm mostly play a pragmatic PC, especially on the first playthrough. I think Andromeda needs to meet an easy going pathfinder so there's no worries about being kicked out the airlock. Unless of course, they've earned it. Then, well part'nar, nice meeting ya but it's time to part ways. *shwoosh*

Pragmatic colonist. But if there is an option to play crazy-ass conqueror, I'll definitely do it for all those lols during my second playthrough.

Ruthless Conqueror They can live in my new world or die in their old one. Daenerys Targaryen GOT Season 4 I wouldn't take any cues from her, she's more of an; Somewhat-Ineffectual Conqueror "I've totally screwed up their entire world, now I'm bored, so I'm leaving to invade my old one." -- Daenerys Targaryen GOT Season 6.

I've always been a goody two shoes Paragon lover. I have to force myself to renegade or make 'evil' choices. No matter what I play. Make love not wars is always my motto. At least in my first playthrough after that I start being a little more grey... But I never go full asshole, I just can't do it. ><;;

One of the things that makes most RPGs so appealing is that they have replay value. You can go back through the story with a different perspective which can make the game seem fresh all over again. The standard two ways most RPGs allow you to go are the good and evil routes. So which one will you do first? Or will it be a pragmatic mix if the two? I don't think that a 'conqueror' best describes the 'evil' route in ME:A. I think it will be just 'dick colonist'. Anyway, I think I'll play MEA like evil ME1 route, if it's possible. Humanity first, disregard the xenos, etc.

Not really. Shes placed a new system of government in the cities. Cowed her enemies. And left her general to oversee it. She actually made a point of not leaving until it was stable. She's making an empire, not just the 7 kingdoms. Actually, she failed to implement a stable government in the cities she conquered, had two of those "liberated" cities fall back into slaver control within minutes of her departure. She caused Meereen itself to implode as her poor mismanagement and failure to understand the importance of local customs and how vital the fighting pits were to the local economy, leading to civil unrest and an attempted uprising by the Harpies. Then after the city had been attacked by her enemies who were narrowly thwarted, she decided to leave an untrustworthy sellsword (who she just broke up with) to govern it a city that was still battle-damaged, half razed to the ground and without any direction to fixing any of the social, economic and political problems that she had caused. After all, what's to stop the rest of the slavers from coming back and taking it, now she's not there with her Unsullied, Dragons or Dothraki anymore? Instead it seems she got bored and now plans to invade another country with a giant war fleet, despite having failed her stated goal to learn how to become a good Queen. If she failed to rule a single city effectively without it turning into complete anarchy, she must be delusional to think she can somehow manage 7 whole Kingdoms that span an entire continent. (It's all very good giving stirring speeches and saying you're going to "Break the wheel", but unless you actually plan to replace the wheel with something better, the whole wagon is going to topple over.) --- All the above should at least be things to consider if we're planning the conqueror route in Andromeda, as giant red flags on what not to do.

I´ll play it like I would if it was really me making the decisions given the available info and choices. So I guess that would be a peaceful base alignment with the pragmatism needed to achieve whatever outcome I deem to be the most appealing one in any given situation.
That was one of the great strengths of the ME trilogy for me - there are no higher stakes, so how far are you willing to go ? I don´t have a universal answer to that question, finding out is hopefully going to be a big part of the storyline experience.

In MEA we are nothing but a group of alien invaders.
So we will have to be not just these three, and many more to survive.

No doubt I'll start with pragmatic colonist, peaceful coexistence when possible and armed intervention when necessary. But my hope is the game is good enough to warrant playing through all variations.

Colonialism generally works pretty well for the colonists. It seems a fine choice. Until those colonies rebel against the mother country. Although in this case, there might not be a mother country.

Erm....what about if your plan is simply to bang all the Andromeda alein leaders in exchange for patronage? I guess it's pragmatism, as I'm all for either "peacefully exploring" or "ruthlessly conquering" dat ass, depending on the situation. I'm going full screw the natives on my first playthrough ^this guy, I like

None of this fun as a game actually.
Although conquering has the most potential.
Still like original ME deciding for me.. then it just centered on me defending.

So I'm gonna have to go with conquering.
