They have all the assets and now they a foundation. It's incomplete, but it is their first foray onto Frostbite at Montreal. And despite EA.

Well...it's better than one of MY stories without editing.

Another once over certainly wouldn't have hurt it. Mind, I love the game we got, but it sure was rough on release. 1.05 helped, here's hoping the next patch is a good one too.

A lot will depend on how the next Dragon Age performs. If it does well, Bioware and EA will feel they can take the 'it'll be done when its done and good enough' line. If DA4 struggles, EA will likely post men at Bioware's door asking if MEA2 is finished yet, every day until completion.

If they skip a multiplayer and take time to learn from the massive number of mistakes they made in this one, I could see two years. If they decide to botch it again, you're looking at 4 to 5 years with a multiplayer that more than likely doesn't learn anything from the last.

I think the reason ME:A took 5 yrs was cause they were basically starting from scratch. We have furmilier races, but it's a new galaxy with a new story. So it is likely going to be like the OT, about every 2-3 yrs.

Probably another 2-3 years. It probably took 5 years for MEA because they were working with a new engine, so they had to design their assets from the ground up. With sequels though, most of the assets are built which will reduce the time required.

I would say 2-3 years as well. It's clear they've got some incredible assets already built. They just need to improve, innovate, and polish a bit more for the next game. And make the main story a bit longer.
