I liked doing the quests alone at my pace not someone else. But the stronghold was fun with a group, cooperative multiplayer is usually nice.
Pacing, playing on your own schedule, and SP games generally offering a better sense of immersion are the main reasons for me. Then add onto that the griefing, cheating, and general poor behavior you can run into if you play with randoms.

I’m thrilled to share that our public demo weekend exceeded our expectations. Operationally, things were super smooth – our war rooms were tranquil this weekend, which is exactly how we like them.

Our focus now shifts 100% to launch and beyond. Our development team is hard at work on finalizing our launch builds and beginning our countdown preparations. As I’ve mentioned previously, the launch version of the game has a long list of updates and improvements that were not in the demo builds. And, of course, launch will be the first time our community has access to the full game with all content.
There’s so much more than you saw in the demo and we can’t wait for you to play it. We’re also very hard at work on exciting post-launch content. You saw a small glimpse of it in the game Sunday. We’ll have much more to share on that soon.

Maybe from a Live Service perspective things were sweeter, with 3x the players from week one. Making more obvious some demo bugs which were an annoyance but more in game development's box than 'Live Services'.

They have more of info on the state of the game and people playing or problems experienced than we do. So I have little reason to doubt them - I think that most issues that happened were manageable or they don't expect them (in large quantities, at least) at launch.

Surely you did not expect otherwise? Notice the minimization of the negatives.
There is lots of work to fix things in the main game... especially this "grab orbs and dump them in a fixed location" but the mission can't close ... 'until all the orbs are dumped with some players unable to or decide to go afk. This definitely needs a re-think.
Anyway, I wish them luck....

Has to be said, the quantity of traffic on EA's Support forum (where I also pop in) was noticeably less busy this weekend, vs. last, even if those who did comment were demonstrably more salty than last week - though there were fewer of them.
If Chad is saying there were 3x the number of player in the game during the Open Demo, that's a lot.

Not being able to commit to unbroken periods of time, as in being interrupted regularly so I don't want to piss others off by having to stop playing. Also exploring/finishing missions at my own pace rather than being in a PUG where some people have already done the mission and they are like wham bam and its done and I am like WTF!!!!

GoD @gameordeath1 @benirvo Will the swimming areas have more lighting on the launch, cause during the demo swimming was one of the most hardest things to do even though I knew where to go the 3rd time and so forth it was still kind of hard to see.
