Dorian is an example of a good inclusive character. Traynor and Cortez might be too, at least, I like Traynor a LOT. Cortez was okay too, like a Chalkwas character but with more to say/do. I think I hesitate with Cortez because he felt like tokenism. You shuttle pilot romancable guy is there at the start of every mission and he's the gay-representative? That's how it felt to me especially with how hamfisted his husband mini-plot was. Meanwhile Chalkwas had absolutely nothing to do as a character the entire game. I'd much rather have her talk with Shepard about his distressing dreams and mental state or something than I'd have had some new shuttle mechanic who worries about everything because he's a sensitive man or something. I really liked Cortez myself. The husband thing could have been done better, but there are a lot of moments with the character that I really enjoyed. I think his meetup in the Citadel DLC was also my favorite of the bunch, because it skipped the comedy and went straight for his love of flying. As for Chakwas, this is why for all this talk about how Lexi is boring, I appreciate her more than I ever did her, because there was more to say and do with this character. The most I ever got out of that lady was her getting drunk and passing out on one of the beds in the med bay and ultimately increasing my medigel capacity on the field, and I had her for 3 games! |

I alwasy wanted to leave her behind in ME3 and bring Dr Michel along, but the old girl just has these desperate puppy dog eyes, and I just can't leave her. Probably for the best, who knows what trouble with the bottle she'd get into without Shepard to look after her. |

It needs to be updated for the new patch. The skin tones aren't all the same shade any more. 1 is lighter than 9 now instead of them being the same lightness like before.

There's so much entitlement and whining in this thread I'm getting serious flashbacks to the old BSN forums. The shit people find to complain about; "whaaa, I want to be whiter". Actually, ideally, I'd have liked to have been more Asari blue, but yeah, if I dial the skin tone as white as I can go in the creator, and it looks white there, I don't *really* want to wake up from cryosleep and find I'm Hispanic. Just call me a control freak.... So, why aren't there Asian and black female interests? Goto doesn't count because she couldn't be romanced. The writers can't relate for very obvious freaking reasons. It's all "good" because they hid the fact by not including one lighter shade. It's stupid and I still want to know who was the complete as**** that hired Heir. And where was HR when this moron was tweeting hate and busting Square Enix balls? Ashley at least looked a little Hispanic, but that's it. It's all disingenuous bull crap because they can't relate. They're all white. That's the truth. Bioware can make all the excuses they want... it's just excuses. However, no one is talking about that. No... let's dead-name someone. Let's ham-fist someone's chosen gender down our throat out of nowhere. Bioware, get out of your Twilight saga angst and mature the f*** up. Get some self-awarness. Dummies. |
