Hai Guyz,
So I play ME:A with a secondary monitor and an Xbox controller. I didn't have an issue with this at first, but lately the controls have been kinda wonky. If I play Full-screen, the left joystick acts tilts the camera in addition to move my character. If I move the mouse cursor outside of my screen, I get no sound. ALso, When I try to play Multiplayer, it keeps asking me if I want to go back to single player. I press B for no, but it takes me back anyway. I ruled out the controller itself since it behaves properly in my other game son both PC and Xbox. EA has pretty much ignored me.

Most of the time, I have go to the control panel and disable and re-enable the device. I would also re-calibrate it while you're there. (Garrus approves of this message.) If it still continues to do that, I would restore to defaults in the options menu under controls.

I play on Xbox One and my controller acts weird while playing this game too. No joke, sometimes when I sit my controller down for a quick second and pick it back up the controls do not work (only the home button). So I have to Turn my controller all the way off & back on for it to work again. It's weird that it only happens when I sit it down.

Does that only happen with ME:A, or does it happen with all games? I use a wired connection for that very reason.

Off-topic, but I can't help but share. MEA indirectly overheated my Sony XBR television. It works the PS4 ridiculously hard; and the PS4 pours heat into the not-that-enclosed space behind the TV. I'll admit I've been playing far too much, but still... I've never heard the PS4 fans struggle the way they do with MEA.
If my TV doesn't start behaving itself tomorrow, I'll have to get a new 4K HDR unit, I guess. (I've already picked which one, to be honest.)

It's pretty strange how the game knows when I sit it down or whatever lol. I've been playing Destiny and The Walking Dead as well but it never does this while playing those games.

I kinda bought a PS4 Pro to give myself an excuse to 'need' an 4K HDR TV. Gotta think ahead

Having a similar issue here for PS4, my controller keeps turning itself off & it can be bloody annoying in MP, once again, this does not happen in other games...odd

I figured all they really did was interperet the signal from the source(I.E. the PS4). I bought a 4K television simply because I was tired of looking at a tiny PC display. Although I've been told that televisions are generally bad for gaming. Still, I'd prefer HDR over a 1ms response time. My 970M only outputs 1080p 60hz anyway. I am also guessing you have the PS4 Pro, since the original PS4 doesn't output to 4K.

I am also guessing you have the PS4 Pro, since the original PS4 doesn't output to 4K. Nope, but I will. I couldn't justify buying a PS4 Pro without the TV to use it. You see how this overheating justifies an unnecessary purchase, right? To be honest, I'm extremely judicious with my money at all times. I've been wanting to buy a high-end HDR capable TV and PS4 Pro for some time. This incident just gives me the mental excuse to do so. I'm presently running the PS4 (and MEA) to see if the TV overheats, again. If it does, it's not likely overheating, but a specific chip that has gone bad. If it is overheating, then I've now equipped both the living room and bedroom with an amazing TV (and PS4). Either way, I had the money, but not the will to waste it, until now. PS4 Pro and very nice TV are on the way. I will have them Tuesday.

So I downloaded a 1.4 gig update. I didn't even know I needed one until I checked the settings. The controller now works again. On another note, I've noticed that ME:A is the only game that has HDR(at least according to my tv that tells me HDR is activated every time I play MEA).

Does that only happen with ME:A, or does it happen with all games? I use a wired connection for that very reason. I will say it happens more often in games Assassin's Creed and Crysis.

There are other games, but no certainly no other ME games. I'm looking forward to seeing both MEA and Horizon: Zero Dawn with the higher resolution and better lighting. They are the two games I own that were specifically developed with HDR in mind.
