Opium, really? Huh. So that's why I felt buzzed last week No wonder I thought that was good sh*t! (Kidding. I've never actually tried it before). I still prefer homemade Carrot Cake with cream cheese icing. If you eat in India, "chili" might be Naga Jolokia. I've eaten a good piece of Naga Jolokia twice. Chewed it carefully and swirled it around in my mouth thoroughly before swallowing. I had to do it again the next day, because the experience was so surreal, I had to confirm it again, to believe that it had actually happened. Besides I survived the first time, so I figured I would likely survive again.

- Jeez! Are you porn stars, FFS? 🤣😂😅Wat I have a very upset stomach. I'm blaming the antibiotics I take. Pain in the jaw goes up and down all the time. Usually up when it's time to sleep. But no swellings and the trend seems to be receding. So I suppose I'm optimistic. Take supplements containing bifidobacterium, anti biotics kill those and then digestion gets wonky. It helps tons.

Had the first night of interrupted sleep then Could also be the painkillers upsetting your stomach, try and take with food. And some probiotics as beet suggested. Also beet, stop shaving your bits off

Yea. I agree. I usually do. Not exactly bifido, though I guess I can try that too. Something went wrong with my head this time and I assumed I take them after the antibiotics are finished. That's not quite right, I think. Anyway, I've a fantastically reliable and well functioning stomach, normally. Whenever something happens to that, I take acido-something, and that is like turning a switch, perfect stomach again. First time I tried bifido, I vomited for three hours, so I stayed off it for years. But I have tried a different brand later and that went well. Still, acido-something is my first choice.

Also beet, stop shaving your bits off My logic behind this is if I shave off useless bits and pieces of me I can add that saved weight on the barbell and squat a little more! Strength requires making sacrifices! Next step - remove fingernails.

I dunno, maybe it helps your stomach condition? Otherwise, I got the impression it's enough to fast for a day to have health benefits?

There are some regenerative processes that start after about 48 hours, or rather, they become significantly potent after about 2 days of not eating anything - especially production of natural human growth hormones and neurological regenerative processes. Both help with the sport I'm doing and improves health. And frankly, every once in a while I get so sick and tired of eating and digesting food every single day I enjoy not having to eat for a couple days. I have done that several times and I was always feeling really good and clean, the only downside was I always felt a little cold, but not big deal.

I've been whammied two days in a row now while at work, and that is mostly because both this week and last, the building is so frickin cold that everyone is walking around with their coats, hats, scarves and mitts on INSIDE. It's maybe +5 degrees C (41 F) in the building because we have construction workers doing renos and they have the doors open all day, constantly coming in/out. Plus our parent organization has central control over the heating and AC for all sites, so if they think it's not cold enough outside to warrant turning on the heat in any one or all of the building sites, nor hot enough to turn on AC in the summer months....then they don't. Because, hey, it costs $$$.
Anywho, body temperature for me I have discovered is a big trigger. Either I get way too hot and can't cool off....OR too freezing cold, so cold my nails turn blue, and I can't warm up. Either is a trigger that really sets off the symptoms of Meniere's for me.

Windy wet snowy day, in the morning I had to shovel literal tons of snow, the kind of melting snow that is almost water and weighs a million tons. Also at work a had to send an e-mail to a business associate of mine who is currently very ill, to ask an important question. Instead of ''kind regards'' I ended the mail with ''I wish you a good journey''. I hope that wasn't too much.

Just got my heating bill for the last month. (Natural gas) URKKKKKKKKKKK!!!! All time record by a lot. I hate utility companies and their billing practices. I am lucky in that although I am retired I am not right up against the edge of a budget, many others are not so lucky.

I managed to 'unwire' a problem that has plagued me for some time with my somewhat old now, but still very fancy high-end monitor, and my image applications. In retroperspective, I think some problems came to surface already when my computer upgraded to Windows10. I had problems getting AdobeRGB and sRGB switch as I wanted, on my LightRoom and Photoshop applications. And I couldn't find the settings in these Programs any longer. Then after a further update of Windows10, the problem has become more general. Essentially a number of applications now assumed my monitor was running in AdobeRGB, and it was impossible to get them to change their mind.
In general, almost all web content assume your monitor is running a sRGB color profile. So you kinda have to do that, or colors don't come off right. However, when you're developing RAW-files or editing pictures for printing, it's helpful to view the image through a bigger color gamut. Most monitors can't do that, but some can. Thus color profiles like AdobeRGB and ProPhoto. At the end, you can export your work as sRGB for viewing on displays, or, if you want, something else for printing. Anyway, my monitor is capable of many color profiles, but I only have two set up, sRGB and AdobeRGB. Last I fiddled with this, I've been inactive for awhile, LightRoom always assumed I had sRGB (and I think that was a setting inside LightRoom, it might not be that way any longer). But Photoshop always assumed AdobeRGB, and I couldn't find the setting. Of course I assumed it was a system setting. Yes. Applications asked the system. The system asked the Monitor. So why didn't it work any longer? Everything looked Okay. My Monitor was identified correctly. Tearing around in settings, I eventually discovered one thing. Probably during the original Win10 install, all other color profiles except AdobeRGB had been deleted from the monitors color profiles. They were still installed, but not associated with the monitor. Almost fixed. But now I have to change the color profile also in the System settings, not just on the monitor. But okay, just as long as it works now, and I know what color I have. I'm pleased enough.

My love convinced me to buy new clothes, so I am on a buying spree. Last week 3 new pairs of jeans arrived. Today I have ordered 3 pullovers and lots of t-shirts, socks and underpants. Her reaction: Why do you have to wear everything in black? Ghehe. My answer: I like it and it is easy, because I never have to worry about what colors match in the morning when I dress. I guess she hoped for other colors.

I think I've finally overcome my addiction for sodas. I used to drink some kind of soda for every meal, used to get a little icky and sick when I ate a big meal without it. Now I no longer crave soda when I eat dinner or supper even though my fridge is still stuffed with that trash, I no longer get sick and I just drink water.

Good, the sugary ones melt teeth and non-sugar ones melt stomach etc. I have almost completely dropped plain milk as a drink from my diet. I use it only for hot chocolate drink and thats very rare. For coffee I use our great neighbours invention, Oatly iKaffe, as it doesnt seem to mute the coffee so much. I've also dropped coffee/whole caffeine intake to max one cup per day, I like the taste but dont like jitters. There are no as good tasting decaffeinated ones as Pera Gran Pregio beans are... Anyway, my day has been so far fighting against memory limitations on my work laptop with PSB files. Yes, PSB is photoshop large format.

I am waiting for my new clothes to arrive. I am impressed by their new track and trace system. Not only is the estimated delivery time updated in real time, there is also a counter of customers before me and a map in which you can see my home and the current location of the delivery truck. You also get a text message when the truck leaves the depot.
Because you need to be at home for the delivery, you can specify the day and optionally during the day or evening. If you don't like what you got you can return it for free within 30 days. No questions asked. There is an immediate refund when the company received the goods.
I mention all this, because I have read that in the US things work differently and there is no or little customer service. Things are differently here. Customer service is usually good. That doesn't mean that mistakes are never made. People make mistakes and that is OK.

Today I woke up with a sharp pain on the left side of my face near the ear, which has only been getting worse since. Its not constant pain, but I get bouts of really 10/10 pain scale stabbing pain that feels like I get a spear jammed through my skull, its so bad it makes me flinch so hard that I drop stuff.
Not sure if it has anything to do with the lifting I did yesterday, which was a very heavy session of conventional barbell deadlifts up to 510 lbs / 233 kilograms, which felt really good. In any case, something happened that really pissed off my facial nerve. Hope its not Bell's palsy, happened to a friend of mine after a heavy training session.
