Well, that explains why Combos were never that weak for me. Insanity from my first minute in SP. Also explains why the Combos on my Krogan Engineer seemed to be that much stronger than the ones of my Human Sentinel. I can almost guarantee you that you never noticed this. 75 damage. This may explain why they can't just effect server-side balance changes. The coding in this game is probably completely fucked. Huh, may be! Since it's a single player data file that needs to change. There is a separate MP one for guns, though.

I'm kinda curious about what enemy hit points in SP are like. Is the max 350 considered decent damage there? Were we meant to only deal out that much damage for a combo in MP? So many questions.

350 isn't really decent, but you gain a lot more passive boosts there to scale it up to something usable.

I can almost guarantee you that you never noticed this. 75 damage. I always assumed they were broken and were visual only (or removed the initial detonator damage when applying the explosion damage) until I saw the first numbers on this forum. Honestly couldn't see damage from shockwave det before or after insanty when everything else is doing 400+ before power modifiers to even make a dent. Even a charge detonation would look the same change on the bar as if I'd charged an unprimed target. Ooh, I wonder what the last two rows in the combo table are - different scaling rates added as a test, or intended for use somewhere?

Even a charge detonation would look the same change on the bar as if I'd charged an unprimed target. That's exactly why I started testing things! I did a Nova primer - > Charge in game and noticed that it seemed to do basically no extra damage compared to just nova-ing and charging without combo. Then I saw peddroelm 's thread about combat logging and said "oh, I've got to check on this with numbers." Not sure about the other Member values in Isaac's sheet. Very interesting though.

I'm thinking that the "Member #1" row in the second block looks suspiciously similar to the old invincibility periods from shield/health gate in ME3. And by that I mean, the values are exactly the same, in seconds. If so, another row likely is the enemy shield gate bleedthrough. Member #3, maybe? How would one go about putting this to the test, CE? Or maybe editing the values in the table and eyeballing it is easier?

You got this right on the money, by the way. .5 shield gate invulnerability while difficulty set to Narrative, and .1 while set to Insanity. from Narrative to Insanity it's .5, .5, .5, .2, .1. We tested enemy shield gate bleedthrough and found no difference. Next test is for sync attack interval.

We tested enemy shield gate bleedthrough and found no difference. Next test is for sync attack interval. Have I missed a summary about shieldgate bleethrough? I've been really curious how this was working, given the different feels that different weapons and weakpoint shots feel like they have in terms of penetration.

Hahahaha.... :sob: I miss my good shotguns. Thanks though, good to know that it is otherwise consistent.
