I'm a little dissapointed because concept arts had much interesting stuff than the final game.
Looks like the initial shuttle crash in the beginning of the game. Concept art is really a design to explain what is going to happen. It is normally prettier and there is far more of it than what happens.
At a guess the other plates are visual concepts for Vaults/Rem city. Seems like they had at some point wanted an "organic" like design.
