Yes Artemis is right. Just block annoying trolls. I have been eating those pests since I was a mod at 16. They never seem to have anything worthy of a challenge to respond to either. They follow a set pattern if lacking intelligent responses and use pointless drivel to try and stir the masses. After 17 years you'd think they'd improve their tactics, but... *shrugs* Nah, why bother to blocking them if we can overwhelm them? The multiple exciting conversation we are having  THEY CANNOT KEEP IT UP!!!  |

Like I said before, if Jaal was from a race we already knew, we wouldn't talk as much. Speculating the creation of the Angara, their purpose, what they are like in society, why would they romance a human and if they are working with the Kett will always lead to bigger discussions. Also my unnatural attraction to my bro Scott is because I just realized who he looked like. Cullen. He is a brown-haired Cullen  I was thinking the same thing about Cullen after seeing the character kits... I can't put my finger on it but there's something about his face that resembles him a lot. Also can I just mention that the eyes in the character kits... They look so dead? Is it just me? (also Sara and Scott look nothing like each other. I mean sure twins don't have to look exactly like each other but they barely look like siblings imo but maybe it's just me. Oh well, I'll be playing a custom Ryder anyway so it's no big deal) YES!!! Do you guys think that the pilgrims in Andromeda ever learn about milky ways fate?I theorized about it. Maybe the last piece of information we have is about the Reaper Invasion. Aftermath, MW totally forgot / are not interested in Andromeda Initiative Fate, so they didn't update the current situation. So we maybe know about the war at some point but we don't know about the outcome afterwards, so we presume the worst. However, if they plan no reconect with the MW, devs probably think some way to evolve the three possible endings (Control, Synthesis and Destroy) in one outcome so... |

And guys, I have a confession..... I don't like Disney movies ! Please don't hurt me ! By Disney, I mean the stuff that was actually made by Disney. I do enjoy some of the Pixar movies. I just really don't like the basic Disney formula for movies. I am not a big fan either. But hey, the thread comes and goes in waves, and it moves fast...  I'll stop, I SWEAR!! Yes, when I play as Ryder, I will maintain a healthy amount of reservation in regards to completely trusting the angara, even Jaal to an extent, but then that will create juicy drama, and the Tempest crew will love it. I can just imagine Peebee being a right stirrer, and Kallo believing all sorts of conspiracy theories The angara can betray us, but if Jaal does ...  *watching Solas' romatragedy was enough*  If there is no Angara sexy baddies plot twist I will make my own drama at the beginning. Because "you earned my trust" character arc  |

Sorry for the drama, but I think one of the Ryders has to be a bad guy: if it's not your father, maybe your sibling It could still be mum Ryder.... Has anyone heard a word of her yet? There is still the dark Ryder family mystery to solve... Perhaps she was transferred to Andromeda sealed in a special container for purposes unknown, and then during the game breaks out and wreaks havoc all over the place? (Leaving it, of course, to the more heroic -and conveniently conflicted- rest of Ryders to put her back in th box?) The Pandora Ellen Ryder's box! I wouldn't mind to have an alive momma Ryder as the main mystery but only if we don't end up killing her (I HATE that merciful killing trope with beloved ones, specially wives and mothers) |

So... 1) I don't mind our those first assignments are predefined. You don't choose where the brass sends you (although, for my Sara I would have prefered to be sent to Arcturus and being all bored about that) 2) But I agree with you it sucks to have a sort of predefined reaction to our first assignments. As BansheeOwnage says: it establishes Scott wanted something more from Arcturus (some kind of glory mission) and Sara is a nerd. If those descriptions were more "neutral", I could roleplay as a nerdy Scott traped in Arcturus and a hotheaded not very keen in science Sara traped among Prothean ruins. Anyway, I've been thinking a lot about those specific backgrounds and I have a theory: maybe it doesn't affect you as much as it affects your NPC sibling's narrative arc. For example: if you play as Scott, we know Sara can't join us in the team for some complications (some people, me included, we thought about physical problems, but what if the problems are related to the implants?). So maybe NPC Sara decides to focus in research and the scientific branch of Andromeda Initiave. At some point of the story, we have to help (or stop) NPC Sara from some scientific discovering of Remnant ruins or a conflict she provokes regarding her experiments. However, if you play as Sara, NPC Scott will focus in a diplomatic branch of Andromeda Initiative. So, at some point of the story, we have to help him (or stop him) in some kind of mission regarding the Kett or the Angara. I bet NPCs Sara and Scott will have some kind of dark conflict in their character's arc. Taking the examples I put, I guess we start thinking Sara has discovered something regarding the Remnants and that's why X is trying to eliminate her and then during that mission we find out Sara was experimenting with Kett prisioners or something like that. With Politician Scott, we thought he was acting very paragon and then we find out he was more like a maquiavelic politician and maybe he used other's Milky Way's races as leverage for other Arc's diplomats or something like that. Sorry for the drama, but I think one of the Ryders has to be a bad guy: if it's not your father, maybe your sibling See? Because devs could make us suffer without killing family members  |

Just back up to his loyalty mission and try again? How do I put this? If you choose a different ME2 romance and import it into ME3 you will not be as satisfied as if you had chosen Garrus. Seriously. Also, you can't romance Garrus in ME3 unless you romanced him in ME2, so going back to start his romance is worth it. I just restart with a saved game that was before the loyalty mission but was saved some time ago.  I'm back on course! Tell us how it goes! In ME2 there is no much content, but in ME3...  |

Sarcasm would have to be something like this: "The mass effect games are some of the best games of all time. Mass effect 3 has an amazing ending and our choices in the game have a huge impact on the ending, especially the rachni choice, which really had a huge impact on the ending as you could see the rachni troops fighting on your side against the reapers. There are no plot holes in mass effect. The introduction of a brand new character in the last 5 minutes was a fantastic move and really made the ending amazing. Mass effect 2 made sense. The crucible was a logical plot device. The impact of the destruction of the mass relays at the end of mass effect 3 was the same as the effect of the destruction of the batarian mass relay in Arrival, because the plot of mass effect is consistent and doesn't contradict itself, because the writers are competent and non-retarded." Hahah. I hadn't considered that, but I think that could be said about most all characters before they were truly shown for MEA. I mean, it happened with DAI too with characters like Solas and Dorian if I recall. But, I am getting the impression that the fancy for Jaal in MEA might be a bit wider spread or bigger if it's getting called out (if this is the reason why). She said the Garrus and Tali fandoms combined are equally crazy to Jaal's, so yeah, I'd say he might pass Solas if this keeps up! But what if we don't like him? At least, nobody will take these 70 thread pages from us  |
