I like the look of anthem, it looks like a well made game from what we have seen i just have 0 interest in flying mechs. I'm surprised EA let them do this since it is similar to Titan Fall. Unless that's the point, connecting fans of that series into BioWare's more story RPG style games, and perhaps getting RPG fans into the shooter genre.
I really want to see BioWare make a starwars game again. Been to long since a decent story star wars game was around. Hoping Battlefront 2 gets good reviews for the story as im keen to see if an empire focused story will be good.

You're on target! So, I'm feeling real good about the direction we're heading. I'm also hearing the same thing about waiting a few more weeks because of new lines coming out. $1200 for the card/CPU might change to $890 or so. That's significant to me and it allows me to add something more. Oh... I cannot wait. Thank you for the advice. Good stuff. Make sure you don't just get a 250GB SSD for windows and general files. It is extremely worth getting a 500-1TB SSD and having your big AAA games on that SSD it will speed up everything from starting the game to all the loading times. Especially when your paying for a solid CPU you don't want it bottlenecked because your games are running from a HDD. I don't believe it well help in real time during games but those loading screens speeding up makes a big difference.

In my experience they have trouble communicating. Sometimes the two types of architecture don't work well together. For the last 20 years, I've had six rigs custom made. The majority of them started out as AMD/ATI Radeon combos. I made the mistake twice to replace the ATI card with an nVidia and went through all sorts of hell. Every time, new system install and that was turned out to be a waste of time. All sorts of problems would pop up in different game engines. The worst was Unreal. I also had a i5 in one system and swapped out the nVidia for the current Radeon 7870 I am using. Holy crap. Three days of troubleshooting and I was done. So, for me, I agree with Griffith82, I'm not smart enough (and that's the key issue here, I'm smart enough to be "dangerous") to overcome the issues. I also hate returning the system to the shop with their smug faces. "So, you tried to do this... okay...." Yeh I'm the same want bang for my buck but also want to use max settings when i have the funds. The 1080Ti is a beast of a card and reasonably priced compared to the Titan X it just isn't needed for the original monitor you linked which had a resolution of 1920-1080. If you go the 2k monitor route id advise getting either the 1080Ti (it's 11GBVram will mean its sli potential in the future is safer especially at 2K resolution, you never know but 8GB might not be enough in 4+ years) or an Asus Strix 1080 Asus Strix cards are stably overclocked and have better cooling. They cost a little extra but that extra performance keeps them maxing out games for another 3-6 months after the stock cards start to slow down. In 2 years time i'd imagine buying a second 1080strix near the end of year 3 would extend the lifetime by another 2 years. I would also advise that the 1080 is already a year old next month. So again if you have the time to wait till the revised model comes in later this year and getting the 2080 It will give you more lifespan for your money. This would also allow you to see if 8GB will still be enough Vram to handle max settings at 2k in 3 1/2 years time. As if you go the 1080 route now when it comes to upgrading your risking that not enough information will be available to see if the Vram will survive. The 780Titan (4 Years old) had this problem, its 3GB memory left putting it in sli useless even at 1080p (even though this was a standard even 4 years ago) as most games now are requiring 3-4GB Andromeda is very close to hitting 4GB at 1080p maxed out. The 980Titan however had 6GBVram and while that will probably struggle in 2 years (when it is 4 years old) at 2k resolutions (though it might not) it will definitely get a long long life span in sli at 1080p. All the current cards coming out this year at 8GBVram are the last of their generation. The next generation from AMD and Nvidia due in 2018/2019 will have 12-16GB. Now as these aren't standard cards that isn't a concern, but once they've been out 2-3 years and the second wave of that generation comes out that can lead developers to push graphics up for those who want to max their settings (what we are seeing with most AAA games in 2017 now they starting to leave the 4GB cards behind at max settings at 1080p). Here i do believe the 11GB Ti is a safer bet for 2k resolutions but that's only if your wanting to sli up in 3-4 years time meaning you wouldn't have to spend much on a gcard in 3 years time (more money for other upgrades/holiday/car/whatever), if not your better going the 1080strix and then replacing it with its equivalent later on but this will cost more in the long run.

I'm looking to upgrade my PC. This summer I'm going to use some of my traveling funds to buy a rig. I check constantly with Joker Productions and other techie YouTubers, but I want to hear from Bioware fans. Basically a rig to run Frostbite. Clarification: I'm asking programmers who have experience on Frostbite which is the best combo to pull Ultra settings at 60fps and can handle it for three years or so. Also, a big thanks to all those looking to save me money. Whether it be PC parts or getting a console, all of your advice is great. In a perfect world, I would love to get the rig under $2500 with a monitor (no need for gaming keyboard, Razer gamepad, Thrustmaster flight control stick, XBOX controller, HK speaker set and gaming mouse because I'm good on that.) and a PS4 because Horizon Zero Dawn and the Last of Us are games I'm wanting to play. PS4's are just so hard to obtain around here. My friend Paul got his through some garage sale app. Wal-Mart, Target, Best Buy, Gamestop are always out of PS4s, Switches, NES Classic systems. They go fast. Like truck is outside at 2pm on a Wednesday. You better be there gangster-ready to claim one.If you were to build a PC that won't get upgraded for about three years, what type of processor, mobo, and GPU would you recommend? Update 1: Budget is $3500. Update 2: A monitor at least 30" wide. For example: Newsync B320X SonicBoom 32" 144Hz 1920 x 1080 Gaming Monitor VA Panel 1ms (OD) Update 3: Ventilation issues. The desk setup is a closed PC portal with only the back side open. Water cooling absolutely necessary. Update 4: Separate sound card. I don't see anything more than $100 that I can't use with a good set of headgear or 7.1 speaker system. At 1080p The GTX1080 is overkill the GTX1080Titan = waste of money. The GTX1080 is a future proof for 2k resolutions The GTX1080 Titan is for 4k/ 2k144hz though it will require Sli in the not to distant future for 4k thus costing even more money. I would say your best bet is to wait it out for the revision by Nvidia coming in the not to distant future (maybe later this year) and getting the revised 1070 (about the same cost as original 1070) not sure it will be called the 1070 they may go with a new labelling system like 2070. Either way that will future proof 1080p at ultra settings for 3 years. I cannot state enough that if you want to remain at 1080p You are wasting your money on a 1080titan. If you want a computer now and can't wait for the revision models you could either go 1070 (run games at max for at least a year) then get a second 1070 when the upgrade models are released and it drops in price. This will cost you less than buying a 1080 now. With your budget though i'd highly recommend getting a 2k monitor for the graphical beauty. Now if you play FPS a lot go for a 144hz monitor with gsync/freesync then the 1080Titan would be worth it though not sure it will last 3 years pushing out 144fps on max settings for biggest games but it might. If your not an extremly competitive FPS player or MOBA and just play games for fun then go with a standard gaming 2k monitor with 60-70hz refresh rate and go with a 1080.

Always go digital, no risk of game disc breaking and then having to pay extra to replace it. Though i understand that some of the USA and rest of the world still have data limits on their internet so i get why some people still prefer physical. Luckily i live in the UK which has no such problem well maybe in some extremely rural areas but i don't know about that.
I also get that some people like to collect game discs but any serious collector doesn't open their collections boxes so really speaking they should be buying a digital copy and a physical or maybe 2 physical copies one for the collection and one to play with.

Something is clearly bottle-necking the system. I'm not up to date on amd processors so maybe someone who is can rule that out. I don't get why you've got a 4k monitor with a 1050. Even the 1080titan (way overpriced as its overkill for 2k gaming) struggles running things on high/ultra at 4k on current games and will only get worse in the near future as games advance. The 1050 at ultra even at 1080p will cause slowdown as the 4GB VRAM isn't enough (i know this because i use the 970 which also maxes its 4GB VRAM at ultra 1080p so i have to turn some settings down to keep a stable 45-60fps) the 8GB ram will also slow things down as the game will use nearly all of it if not all of it at ultra. Are all your drivers up to date? I'm not 100% but i do believe you should be getting 60fps at low settings and possibly at medium/high mixture though not an expert on the 1050. I use DSR for 4k, i have a 1080p monitor, but in some case i get 20 fps, in other i get 45 fps, low or ultra, no change my fps..idk why Have you made sure you Nvidia Control panel is set to let the 3d application decide? Maybe its been set to overide the games settings. Also i know this is silly but have you made sure your restarting the game when changing the graphical settings to allow the game to update the settings? If DSR was working correctly there would definitely be a huge impact on FPS. I remember playing Rhys Son Of Rome and the super sampling in that game destroyed my FPS 60 to 5-10 on the 970. As someone else mentioned also check that your resolution scale in the graphics setting is not fully to the right and is in the middle (default resolution) Best guess would be to use MSI afterburner and follow a youtube/web guide on how to get it to display your CPU load/temp and GPU load/temp/memory and then also your standard Memory usage. Then go in-game and enable it to see if something is bottle-necking.

I love these puzzles, not because they are Sudoku but because of the glyphs. According to "military whistleblowers" (not saying its true) such as Tompkins glyphs similar to what the Egyptians used, rather than a written language like we use, where on advance technology used by Nazi Germany in antartica back in WW2. To me this is a nod to real life rumours on advanced technology. Makes it more compelling devs really did there homework when you also see that the flying creatures are similar to a scientists interpretation of what alien life could be like if planets had a different atmosphere to ours (can't remember the documentary this one came from). The devs have placed a lot of out there rumours and speculation from real life and adapted it to make the lore for this universe which to me helps make it believable. My question is, are these mini games in big games ever fun? Maybe the Deux Ex hacking puzzles, where you have to race the security protocols, cause it is a mixture of timing and logic. Or the mini-puzzles in the Talos Principle? But still meh. Done one Sudoku, done em all... Gwent was a fun minigame. So was pazak from KOTOR

Judging by the fact the benefactor helped the human funding who thinks it was the illusive man? Also that would go hand in hand with the theory that cora is his daughter he would want her on the team.
Secondly the man who murdered the AI founder jean garson or whatever her name was, could this also be the illusive man? Sure we know he was in the milkyway during ME3 but what if that was his clone which would also explain all his enhancements (similar to how he cloned sheppard) and his true self went with his daughter to the initiative and Andromeda?

I was gutted at the backlash at the ME3 ending. We will never again in a BioWare game get a villain who is too powerful for our hero to defeat. Sheppard had one the best send offs i have ever seen in a game, he sacrificed his life in one way or another to try and fix the galaxy the best way he (you) deemed fit. I was shocked BioWare had the balls to kill off such an important and well loved character, but just like Game of Thrones it could of been the catalyst to creating a new breed of hero where us the players would be hoping they would survive rather than knowing they will each game. Sadly the backlash happened, they even retconned one of the endings to have shepard live to please the disney fans.
So from now till the end of BioWare we will always beat the bad guy meaning there is no suspense or fear. Just ye ye by end game i'll put you in a body bag like everyone else because my hero is super cool and the toughest guy/girl in the galaxy.

You can update on origin now, consoles may have to wait for the patch to be approved not sure. BioWare might have held the patch back until it could go live on all 3 platforms. Not on my Origin, no new patch available at the moment. Right click game select update. My origin client also updated today, so maybe need to restart that to get the update.

Interesting it doesn't actually state when the patch is to be released - assume that means basically 'now'? You can update on origin now, consoles may have to wait for the patch to be approved not sure. BioWare might have held the patch back until it could go live on all 3 platforms.

There is a few like that on Eos. I figured something late game must allow you to go back to them but never did (though i may have missed something). I've literally searched everywhere for the chest to turn them blue it is not there. If its the one I think it is (it's near the area that has the ore sample for the quest and for the data trail quest) - it never turned blue for me (the only one that didn't) It is involved in a quest - the one where you save the idiots that are trying to tame the remnant bots. It's off a terminal in Prodomous (can't spell that lol) In the room where you meet the asari for Coras quest. Yeh i completed that quest its not that one

Only ruins connected to vaults will turn blue on the map. The Remnant have many ruins throughout the galaxy, and that's all they are, ruins. The vaults are open by activating 3 monoliths. That's how it works. Those are the only ones that turn blue on the map. The rest are simply ruins. Sometimes you can find remtech at the ruins, sometimes not. The civilization is decimated. Only story related monoliths are added to the map. There I said 3 times that should explain it. This isn't true, a lot of Place of interest locations on the map (remnant) will turn blue when you find the large chest in the nearby area. Infact it was only on Eos and again only a few of those places of interest that refused to turn blue. I think it maybe tied to some sort of mini quest but for the life of me never found it.

Can I customize the way my dad and twin look? - “Yes”True Are there going to be moments in Andromeda that make us cry? - “Already are” Suppose he meant dad dying or finding out mums alive Is Andromeda harder to make than Mass Effect 1? - “About the same”Probably true Is there background music on your ship? - “Can’t remember”Is this based on a true story? - “Yes”Probably means a real life expedition, maybe even colonisation of america/austrailia. Other than Andromeda, what’s your favorite Mass Effect? - “Probably 2”Do you consider this part of a new trilogy? - “No”Will there be paragon/renegade choices? - “There will be choices that feel like paragon and renegade”
There is one off the top of my head Deciding whether to kill the ai or not Is this an open world game? - “It is a game with open world elements”True Is there a precursor race? - “No… I wouldn’t call them that”
Without knowing exactly what the remnant are this is up for debate but he probably knows. Excluding Bioware games, what’s the best RPG? - Original Bard’s Tale”Want to try this now How come all the aliens still look like people? - “That’s a good question. I dunno” Bad answer, part of me thinks its to make animations easier part of me thinks its a lack of creative talent and the designers/artists came up with humaniods because its what they know. I did like the nod to the flying fish like creature which is nearly identical to one i saw in a documentary about potential alien life and how it could be different to our life depending on their planet. The flying fish was something to do with air density being so different you could swim through the air. Is Andromeda going to be one of those RPG’s for dummies? - “No – but that said, dummies might like it”typical PR repsonse shame on you walters

You mean the tutorial mission ..? The first planetside mission after your ships crash. I don't know if that was still part of the tutorial, but when I tried to save it said you can't save during priority missions. So I assume it's a priority mission. I never had to jump on any mushrooms during the first mission or any mission for that matter?

I figured deconstructing for resources would be more beneficial than selling. As for pathfinder weapon loot crates. In order to unlock a level 2 or higher do i have to have the R&D already purchased or is it based on my level? For example, if i want to uncrate a level 2 weapon do i wait to be level 5? Yep when using the crates gained from apex missions the item you get will be linked to your level at the time of opening. So basic crate = Bronze gear linked to your level 2nd tier crate = Silver/Gold gear linked to your level 3rd tier crate = Gold/Rare gear linked to your level
