ZITHER basic attack super damage trick on dragon. What is this trick? and how do you do it? I don't remember the ability names so bear with me. You need the passive that makes his first basic attack stronger after you use a bunch of other ability spells. Only works on dragon (as far as I know) so start this on zone 5 of the castle. Use all your abilities once or twice but do not basic attack. The abilities don't even have to hit anything so just trigger them anywhere. Stand a decent distance away from dragon and target it. Hold down your basic attack button but attack cancel every attack before it hits the dragon but right after it leaves your hand. Don't mess this part up or it will fail. It's better to stand further away to give you more time to attack cancel like I mentioned. If done right, all your basic attacks should do way more damage against the dragon. Even more effective if you pop a lyrium potion and mighty offense tonic with a non resisted pact belt.

1. Character to play as a level 1? Gotta be Saarebas just because you can still move fast as a level 1 and have a decent attacking ability. 2. Character to play as a level 19? I think Avvar, Elementalist, or Saarebas solely because of each of their unique abilities like Lady's wrath, fire mine, etc. 3. Weapon effect? Explode on kill. I love meat chunks... Would definitely prefer if crescent ability was explode on kill but that's probably too OP. Close second goes to the 100% crit damage from Hakkons and the crescent. 4. Ability effect? Walking bomb. Did I mention I like meat chunks? 5. Map? Orlesian Chateau 6. Combination of 2 or more characters? Taunting/counterstrike Lego and either Saarebas or Necromancer. Group up enemies and cause chain explosions that turn said enemies into meat chunks, something that I am fond of. 7. Piece of dialogue? Probably all of Rion's just for his jerkiness. 8. Enemy faction? Demons because they don't have annoying shields. Darkspawn is a close second because they don't have a lot of annoying mages. 9. Enemy? (Including guardians) Bolters. They can dish the pain and were a definite threat at lower promotes that required strategy. 10. Trick? (Either a legit strategy or a glitch) Getting on top of any of the dragon perches in fereldan castle with the Hunter with hookshot. I have a couple fun screenshots of that posted here somewhere. Standing on the hanging flower pots on zone 5 OC. Stacking leaping shot damage with the archer. Arrow sponge Darkspawn emissaries as Gilli mentioned. ZITHER basic attack super damage trick on dragon. Exploding things into meat chunks, etc. Bonus: 11. least favorite enemy: Without a doubt heartbreaker Venatori mages. Can't stand that fade cloak. If I had my way, I would turn them all into meat chunks.

Is it just me or is multiplayer getting harder my stats are all over 100 and i use to not really have troubles with online play but when i tried to run and perilous map today i got crushed very easily i was even taking real damage on a threatening map.... I dont know whats going on but its bull there is no point in playing the game if your going to keep changing all the core stats for it.... some thing else seems odd i use to be able to get more exp from perilous runs i started map last not at 19 and didn't even get to a 20 probably just you. There have been no updates to multiplayer for I think over a year now and there will be no more. Have you taken a break for awhile and are just coming back? The only thing I can think of is you ran into Darkspawn or Qunari faction which are considered harder. And you need like 37000xp to go from bottom 19 to 20. You won't make that soloing perilous and you might not even make it with a standard team.

I'd like to confirm that I did not have spirit mark ability in that game so somehow RogueKnight did in fact have two minions briefly. I don't think he could manually kill the second one either. Probably some glitch that isn't reproducable unless someone sees something in the video that could have triggered it

Dang, I'd gladly salvage a Hakkon if I thought I'd get it again in 400k gold. Though I also want my max crescent first which isn't seeming very likely. I've spent probably 1500k since my last crescent and who knows how much for the one before that and they are both terrible damage. I think they are lowest and next lowest damage numbers :'(

- You only play levels below NM if you're running with Jade Ham or Boon of the Spoon Oh yeah? Well RogueKnight, 3y3vr3, and I have completed NM levels using only the Jade ham and the boon of the spoon. More recently, RogueKnight, Witty, and I have attempted HB using only the Jade ham but that didn't end as well haha Though I don't think it is because we are as overpowered as some of the people posting here, but we're probably more masochist Maybe I should start a "you know you are masochist when..." because our little group would have a lot to post in there!

Finished all my old map money, working on my last characters to complete 250. I have about 210 runs to go on virtuoso! Oh NO, thats a lot of powerchord! Anyone have any other interesting offensive tactics with or without pact belt for this guy? I don't mind PC, PC, PC but I think my comrades will probably tire quickly of this. Other than the Virtuoso, I have 100+ runs left of Assassin, Alchemist, and Hunter, then all characters are done. Last 2 challenges I have left are Slayer(@295k right now) and Banker(@4.3million). Dunno if either will happen, but I continue to put in 1-1.5 hours a day in DA:I and still enjoy it. Cool beats is always fun to me. Not sure of your willpower but if you are around at least 200 to 300ish, it can be viable even in nightmare. It works badly on single targets but it's very good on grouped enemies. Try to hit all grouped enemies once to multiply the number of AOE ticks. Works well with or without pact belt. If you run pact belt, you might as well take a little knight music to become invincible to physical damage. Also, if you run with people who are dragon hunting, the attack cancelling Virtuoso super damage method (bug) is fun.

Not sure about the details of Mortal Kombat as I've only played it like twice. However... Reaver would probably be the same since all you do in DAIMP with her is button mash to begin with. Alchemist would be the cheap character that had attacks that are really hard to counter with all her mines. Same with Archer. Last but not least, the Keeper would just verbally abuse you and her fatality would probably include nagging you to death.

Well I have about 250k saved up from recent runs and I can guarantee that I will not get any of the items I still need. I am so sure of this that there is literally no point in me spending it. So to avoid the disappointment, I just will let it sit. Those are weapons you deserve, but don't need right now... OK, bad joke... But we will hunt them because we can take it. OK, equally bad joke responding to bad joke...

After years of playing this game, I finally started to craft some new armors. I am getting really really tired of Drakescale armor. Started with the Avvar since his Drakescale is arguably the worst. I'm really not happy that armors take up inventory space which is why I have delayed this for so long. But I guess that additional space it takes up is offset by the armor upgrades I'm getting rid of with the new armors. Question: does anyone know which Necromancer armor will make her look like Calpernia? I want to blend in when playing the final zone of heartbreaker I am so happy to hear that. I mean... those Drakescale armors are very very ugly. For Sidony, I think what you looking for is 'Necromancer's Imperium Vestments (Endurance)'. or, also 'Necromancer's Raiment (Soulbinder)' could be the one. Here's Calpernia's costume pic for comparison. Hope you make a good choice for your girl! Thank you! This is super helpful!

floating golden shields are from the generally not useful line in the sand ability I think right? I'm not sure as I've only seen it a handful of times. Anyway, looking forward to getting a successful all assassin team through heartbreaker Floating shields are from Unyielding passive, same animation and effect as Walking Fortress. Duelist doesn't even have Line in the Sand Savage! Yeah, I didn't even see the unyielding duelist in the video (watching on tiny mobile screen haha ). I'm familiar with THOSE rotating gold shields. I thought we were talking about the Templar at the doorway at the very end of the video near the 25-26 second mark. But you still get an obligatory like for an Arnold meme.

Yep, look at the bottom left of the screen when you are highlighting a material in the crafting menu and multiply the stat boosts by number of materials in the recipe for the upgrade for the true values. Like mentioned above, it's a rounding issue since weapon stats don't include decimals.

Lol no. We all would wish that was true. Obviously the more money you have to buy more chests, the higher the percentage of getting a good weapon theoretically. But there is no magic number that will make it a guarantee. That's the great thing about math. No matter how good or bad the odds, there is always a possibility that the unlikely outcome will occur. The ONLY way to get Hakkons and level 27s and the crescent is through the grind. There is no shortcuts and RNG has no mercy.

That's amazing! I always thought upgraded Barrage is waste, but now I'm very intrigued. Nah, it's how I solo'd HB with Saarebas too (but I didn't use the cheap hiding spots) lol, I actually got some of the hiding spots from one of your old posts But I also got the upgraded barrage suggestion from you as well which I think is completely worth it. Yeah, this particular HB solo isn't really that impressive and kind of has an asterisk behind it. I wasn't really planning on finishing it. Just kind of testing upgraded barrage on that difficulty. Though I think I can solo it normally with two of the OP agents. I've already soloed zone 5 with some in the fade with those particular agents so I think it's feasible. Maybe I'll try that sometime soon and post a more proper achievement.

First Heartbreaker solo! Yeah yeah, the time is slow (but not tooooo slow considering our EXTREMELY laggy 3 virtuoso heartbreaker game posted somewhere else was only a minute faster ). Yeah, I called the dragon but give me a break. It was my first time seriously trying this But, I did this without taking the barrier ability. The skills I took were leap, upgraded barrage, athlok, and glyphs actually. Basically I wanted to test upgraded barrage on heartbreaker alone. Got through zone 1 of the Red Templar faction and was like, eh, let's keep going So how did I do it? Basically, running, hiding, barraging (ALOT). I was using some spots on the map to my (very cheap) advantage but was not just hiding in the towers or up above on a roof the whole time. Zone 2 took absolutely forever and quite possibly 25 to 30 minutes. Almost died a few times in zone 3 because of those annoying Knights buffing everything but somehow made it out alive! I guess my next goal is going to be trying it with different characters. Most likely with Reaver, Arcane Warrior, and maybe even the Silent Abomination...

Wow I am guilty of more crimes than I thought after watching these videos! And to answer the mystery of the perpetrator of the Katari assault, I can confirm that it was indeed my fault. You can see the very brief start of my shield bash animation in the clip. But you helped me weaken him first with chain lightning so we're both guilty.

Had to carry a level 20 pug through a perilous dragon run as a level 1 necromancer. Ended up soloing 2 or 3 of the zones while they were at the fade bar.
I don't mind (it's actually kind of humbling). Just takes a long time.

A while ago, rogueknight333, Terrell and I did three Virtuoso heart breaker game. Everything went really well. Smooth, easy, and awesome teamwork. Even torch run plus friendly fire time wasn't a problem for us. Until... Like Terrell said after the match, it was easiest and most painful HB ever. Also longest too. Took 1 hour 18 minutes. Lol, it was anything but smooth for me after about zone 2. My computer was using 90% of memory nearly the whole time. Thought it was going to explode Besides being really frustrating since it was essentially playing with massive lag for an hour straight, it was easy since the enemies were lagging in the same way. But that was probably the most tortuous game I ever played!

Pretty sure there is not a higher percentage on HB or I have never heard of it. And the 15% part and the halving only applies to fereldan castle dragon runs in which you rang the gong. Silversmurf says there is a 1% chance to get a Hakkon from ANY other non-dragon NM or HB commander. I don't doubt him but I have not heard of anyone else getting them that way because you have a 99% chance to get nothing. Also a 1% chance to get them from buying chests apparently. You may have to max your "loot score" for that though, not sure. In my opinion, your best chance at Hakkons is farming NM dragons for the first 2 or 3. And then hope you get lucky with the store chests along the way.

Just a few screenshots. Should I change my profile pic from the spoon slamming Avvar to the frozen in mid-air Avvar? And yes, I was frozen in place for a LONG time here. It's stuff like this which makes me understand why Heartbreaker should really be called LukeHatesYou mode. The most satisfying wombo-combo of all time. Look at all the red dots in this area! Unfortunately I don't have the after picture Venatori? Oh you mean Venatrolli? Apparently I am not allowed to pass.

Dancers axe! Picked it up at the store after a match in which I kicked Terrell. Still have three 27's and the second Hakkon dagger to go but, progress 😊 So, moral of the story, if you want to get your hands on those sweet level 27's... kick Terrell. I hope you don't think I failed to notice THIS after the game.

Nope, you're not missing anything. There are a few item attachments that share the exact same "recipe". Only difference is visual difference on the weapon.
