Played some PUG heartbreaker matches. And I emphasize the PUG part. Pretty good teammates though for the first few. Anyway, as we got to zone 5, me and another guy couldn't see the banner. Apparently someone planted the flag and the match begun. Except me and the other guy couldn't see any enemies though our other two teammates could. So me and other guy are getting attacked by invisible enemies while other two are being attacked by real enemies. About 10 minutes later, I'm loaded into the victory screen! No one even died because we had a support Saarebas protecting us while RogueKnight power chorded every enemy of the zone to death I'm told since I couldn't see it. I wasn't really getting hammered by attacks so maybe I was only getting hit by stuff meant for our problem free teammates. Also, I could still shield block invisible attacks and get guard if anyone is curious how I stayed alive.

While we're on topic, I just got 1300 prestige! Spent about 110000 gold in an attempt for a second crescent or the master stamina amulet but came up with nothing. I've had 2 Master Pointless Tiny Bit Extra Stamina Amulet, but still no Bolt, so still no Cresent Yeah, I agree. The master pointless tiny bit extra stamina amulet won't be a game changer for me. I'll probably only use it occasionally with the alchemist elemental mines build just for the laughs. I'm too addicted to PI to swap at this point. The inner completionist in me would still like that stamina amulet though. I get your frustration too. Rime was my last required weapon before the crescent. Waiting on those generally useless elemental swords is maddening. The fact that you are waiting on bolt is extra frustrating since that's the best of the three in my opinion (it's actually decent against Darkspawn and Qunari if you are lucky enough to face them and not Venatori while using that sword).

Tough question, not sure anyone can answer at the moment. If you're new, you'll probably have an easier time finding players since you will be playing the more populated lower difficulties.

I'm on PC so I can't comment on XB1. But in PC, it depends on what difficulty you want to play. You can always find games in routine and threatening. You can often find perilous games. But nightmare and above are less likely. The game took a hit since MEA just came out but there are still some players left. This is all assuming you aren't in some low populated region like New Zealand since region lock is a thing in this game.

I agree with Minuos. It is a gradual change. You'll never just hit a certain number of promotions and suddenly feel a difference. However, you will feel an immediate difference with the end game gear (assuming your promotions are high enough to make use of them, mainly your cunning score for crit chance). Every time I got a new Hakkon (or in some cases other high level weapons), my increased damage numbers happily surprised me. Assuming you have heal on kill, killing faster helps with survival. And along the way, survival will get easier and easier as you keep promoting. You'll feel more comfortable taking other agents into NM, etc. NM is still a challenge since enemy health jumps significantly from the perilous levels...
My general thinking is (at least in the beginning) promotions help you survive, gear helps you thrive. With your promotions, you are probably at the point where you will start to feel more comfortable taking more of the non-OP agents into NM. Agents like the Necromancer and Avvar are probably still a challenge due to their squishiness but maybe soon they will be next. Truly, NM is tricky without the PI until a few more promotes but you can counter that by choosing abilities that help you recover from knockdown such as fade cloak, leaping shot, payback strike, combat roll (which I've almost never used haha but others swear by), etc.

Got my OC 1 million gold challenge done. I finished it in a perilous pug while playing with two randoms named TheSpawnHammer and 3y3Vr3_NP. Wow those two were so weak. I think they were jealous of my awesome power since they kept redskulling me. They definitely belong in routine. just kidding, I know who they are. They both did very good. I don't think either died at all in the 3 games. Pretty impressive for no promotions on perilous.

After two successful HB operations in Orlesian Chateau, we decided to head for FC. It was quite enjoyable and went smoother than I expected. rogueknight333 , Terrell and 3y3vr3 demonstrated how to do good teamwork on HB. Oh look, such satisfying outcomes. By the time of entering zone 5, I was confident because no one ever downed yet and I still had full stock of potions. This is today's HB FC zone 5 footage. Full. Rain check, maybe? This was irritating. I'm fairly confident we would have won. We were tearing up the previous zones as your first meat chunk video shows! For anyone wondering, all four of us lost connection so we couldn't just rejoin into the game. It was lost :'(

Good job to the three of us for executing our plan perfectly and making it look like an accident. Also, good acting on the forums and the group chat. He'll never expect our evil intentions. uh, um, oops clumsy us!

2 Druffy matches today within 5 games. One of them I was soloing in routine for testing purposes. Completed in 7 minutes and 10 seconds! Completed another routine testing run in 6:10. I really wanted to get under 6 but oh well. Also, I think I finally found a mace that I like enough to complete the mace challenge with. It's a low level blue weapon called the Dwarven Crusher. It's low base damage but has explode on kill like the bitter axe. Combined with the Wintersbreath it's decent enough to complete the challenge with. Seven minutes, ten seconds, eh? You're a heckuva fast dancer I know this is blasphemous but I didn't even allow any dancing. It was a speed run test. Besides, I allowed some dancing in the previous Druffy match

No one on my friends list was on yesterday so I started pugging. Nothing in NM or perilous. Drop down to threatening and see these three characters in their new accounts. Didn't join because I don't want to hijack your games but maybe I should have joined and just watched I bet there was a lot of scrambling, hiding, knockdowns, death from fire wraiths, etc! I distinctly remember how much I hated the Demon faction in my early days. Those army of wraiths used to hurt. By the way, can anyone confirm or deny if you are invincible on threatening (physically at least) with the Drakescale armor with no or little promotes?

Nice... out of curiosity what was your prestige levels when you got it? I'm completely guessing since I don't think I have records of it but I would estimate around 700 for me, maybe a bit less.

I'm a big fan of deathblow in general. But even more so with the Bosun Blade. You can basically do one or two flanking basic attacks, and hit deathblow for the kill against almost all enemies in NM. If you get the kill, there is no cooldown too so you can continue the attack. If you do it in a tightly packed group, you can hit many enemies at once with one deathblow.

Pretty sure I got around region lock in a recent game about 2 weeks ago. Joined a NM match with two players I've never seen before. They are both very decent and we breezed through some NM runs. They've obviously been paying a while but I've never seen them. They were speaking another language as well. Honestly couldn't tell what it was Then SpaceV3gan joined (who I've also never played with or seen in game) while we were in the lobby. We started a match, I got infinite loading screen and had to restart it but couldn't find the lobby again. And then I never saw any of them again. :'(

Yeah, we know him haha. He has a reputation... I truly don't get him sometimes. He has played alot. He's on the leaderboard. But some of the info he says is just inarguably wrong. Like, saying calling the dragon doesn't reduce XP, that poison is the way to go with Hunter on NM, that reaver claim... The list goes on. He has very little patience in game. I find it ironic that he says soloing is boring because in game he will rush ahead and try to kill everything. He rarely revives anyone, etc. I don't know. Sometimes he's alright but other times it's not a good experience. My very first NM dragon was with him and I was consequently told that I was put on his list of people that he will make miserable whenever he runs into them I must be pretty far down the list because I think he forgot about that.

I also showed teeth my knock-off crescent shadow. It has the same model, but is a different weapon: Pirate Captain's Cutlass - 162 damage, +34% flanking damage bonus. I saw you using that! It is an exact replica. I seriously thought that was the crescent until you mentioned it was a knock off on the mic and I didn't see any ice projectiles. Did you buy that weapon on Thedas Craigslist instead of the official store?
