So no fresh bread for you, Beetle?? THE HORROR Especially considering I haven't eaten bread in years because of my grain intolerance. But I guess there are a lot of people out there now who think that not being able to eat fresh bread every day is a violation of human rights, an assault on freedom and some kind of conspiracy against bread connoisseurs.

Uuuuuuugh back in Stage 4 lockdown from midnight. Compulsory masks even outdoors, no leaving the house except for medical care/exercise/supply runs. (Also work for people who can't work from home, but that's not relevant for me personally.) Probably a good idea to do it before out outbreak gets any bigger, but still: uuuuuuuugh. Heh, for us its the opposite, we just lifted most of the lockdown measures because of the immense pressure of trade and education, despite having rather high numbers and the African mutation spreading. Schools and all businesses are open, but larger crowds, festivals and fitness studios are still not a thing. This is going to be interesting, I expect high numbers and another lockdown in 3-4 weeks.- Germany is already considering closing borders to our country to keep us dirty filthy and sickly peasants from ruining everything. Also we completely and utterly f'd up the acquisition of the vaccines, we ordered way too little and that way too late, now we have barely enough to vaccine all the 80+ year olds, all the others get the vaccine who knows when. Word is its going to be somewhere in fall but I doubt even that. And another interesting thing, there was an infection cluster in a supermarket, it is speculated that an infected worker in the supermarket contaminated unpackaged food by sneezing/coughing. (fresh bread etc). Guess I did good by not buying unpacked / processed food since the outbreak.

Just watched TV (I'm super bored) and there was an interview with an expert saying that they just found out with their tests that not only the vaccines do not work against the mutated African version of Covid, the mutant also leads to worse cases. If that's really true then we are in deep shit, that would mean all the vaccinated people would need to get vaccinated AGAIN with an updated version which is available who knows when.

That's all well and good for us stiff neck Northeners. But what are we going to tell to our Southern friends with all the hugging and kissing? Hey now, I miss hugging I miss half of the population not being crazy conspiracy nuts. Even some of my relatives now think that this is some grand scheme to start a new era of tyrannical government, or the ''great reset'' where all national depts will be reset. And that the vaccine will make you sterile or get cancer in a year to fix overpopulation. As if the virus alone was not annoying enough, no, stupidity is also rampant now.

Last time I had the flu I could not lift weights for two weeks! TWO WEEKS. Makes me want to wear freaking deep-sea scuba diving gear during flu season! Haven't had the flu since I was ten. Not keen on catching it as an adult. Regular colds I get all the time though. 3-4 times a year. Last year was no different despite masks. I had the flu 4 years ago or so, thankfully virus infections are always very mild when I get them, just three days of high fever and that's it. But the flu is notorious for doing damage to the heart if you don't rest properly. A friend of mine died in his 40's because he did not rest and worked hard in the office despite feeling like crap from the flu. When he felt very nauseous he was hospitalized, they found out his heart suffered severe damage, damage caused by the infection. During the surgery his condition worsened so rapidly he never woke up again, leaving 2 children and a wife. That's why I did not do any lifting for two weeks after the infection, I was super scared of screwing up my heart, and after two weeks of rest I did only very mild exercise compared to what I normally do. That caused a setback in my overall strength, it took me two months to get back to 100%.

As annoying as masks can be, I kind of hopeOnce people build up immunity to covid, maybe we as a society could reduce how many sick days we have to take every winter. But... But... when am I supposed to catch up on sleep and gaming time when I'm not out with a cold for 3-5 days anymore?!? Where I work we congratulate one other for catching a cold and not having to come to the office. I'm not kidding. Last time I had the flu I could not lift weights for two weeks! TWO WEEKS. Makes me want to wear freaking deep-sea scuba diving gear during flu season!

As annoying as masks can be, I kind of hope this is a habit that ends up sticking with us, at least through the annual cold and flu season. While this would be a good thing for sure, I highly doubt this is going to happen around here where I live. The majority of people here still view masks as a form of oppression and after this pandemic they will view it as a thing that reminds them of a terrible time. No, I very much doubt masks will become a ''trend'', sadly. Speaking of masks, today I got 10 pcs FFP3 masks with no valves, they weren't easy to find, and they are awesome.

They should include full body picture, her legs made of a slightly altered stock photo of actual chicken legs. Oh that would be sweet.

Nobody sane pulls off weird stunts when they're conducting serious business, aka competitions...or combat, when your life is on the line. You wanna talk to me about realism in a world where people fling shit around with their mind? Why not? There is lots of realistic stuff in it so there is stuff to discuss. I'm nobody? If we abandon tons of practical things in the game just like that and go nuts, the game would be all over the place, which is a sign that there is LOTS of stuff in the game that was designed to be practical. And I want one more. Well, cool story bro, I don't enjoy it. Also, thinking about art choices is a sign that I have too much time? What? Where the hell is that considered a thing? In North Korean gulags?

If BW are updating the game to be less gratuitous they should also update Jack's attire to something more wearable than a belt over her nipples. Maybe they should also look into removing the high heels from Samara and Miranda, as they are clearly not even believable in a combat situation even if they have biotics. I approve of this. Actual clothes for Jack, and removal of the ankle-breaker footwear in combat. Not gonna happen though. As for the heels, just an FYI, Margot Robbie in Suicide Squad does a wall run backflip in an elevator. A scene she repeated multiple times during filming. She did it on her own, while wearing heels. Not assisted by gear, not a stunt double. Margot Robbie. I know a woman who can deadlift 150 kilograms in heels, but shes the only one who can do it. She can deadlift 170+ without them though - I doubt she would wear them in competition. Nobody sane pulls off weird stunts when they're conducting serious business, aka competitions...or combat, when your life is on the line.

Today I got shot number two. We've still not had a single influensa case this season. Influensa is down 95% globally as far as I know. The same goes for all the other viruses like calici and the common cold. So even when this pandemic is over we would be royally stupid if we go back to business as usual. We don't have to quarantine but I'm done with handshakes among other things. No need for germophobia but at the same time needless social contact isn't optimal. Yeah no more handshaking, I've never liked touching complete strangers anyway. I think simple verbal greeting should be more than sufficient.

Started a new playthrough of Pillars : Deadfire with my own characters this time. Here we have the band: The Watcher, a wizard/barbarian multiclass (Warlock) with anger issues who takes himself waaay too serious. A constantly drunk failed paladin, a steadfast, loyal and stalwart battlefield companion - unless sober. An annoying snobby holier-than-thou moon-godlike Amaua priest/monk multiclass (Contemplative). A paranoid dwarf fighter whose brain has been rotted away by snorting way too much svef in his youth. A self-absorbed paladin with a superiority complex that never shuts up about his perfect mustache and hair. The perfect group to save the world!

I often get along very well with people who are known to be arrogant, broody and difficult, yet I often utterly fail to get along with people of the opposite spectrum, sweet and easygoing people. This happened so many times already its definitely not a coincidence.

Holy sheet! I was browsing around and found an online shop that has my favorite snack crackers in stock - those are extremely rare to find here! I just ordered a whole box of them! Now I have to figure out a way to prevent me from becoming a fat bastard from the future inevitable cheese cracker binge fest!
