The Dorian pumpkin look so great. I'm mystified by pumpkin carving of this quality.It must take hours and hours... Thank you. It does take a few hours depending on how much detail there is. I basically washed out as much detail as I could so it only took about 3 hours. Requires patience too. |

Hi there. Well I've joined up here. Reznore, I was really touched that you encouraged me to do so. It was nice to feel wanted and appreciated.
I love the pumpkin Dorian. In fact I love any picture of Dorian. I have an album of screenshots that I can resort to when I need cheering up.
I hope we see more of him in future games, so long as they don't ruin him. I still smart over what was done to Anders. I think it is likely he will return as an adviser/contact/agent who acts as mediator with the gang down south, fills us in on Tevinter protocol and give us quests. Let's face it, they must have some reason for making sure that he returned to Tevinter no matter what. If there is a plot that involves the PC saving Dorian's life, well that's fine by me too.

It's all part of the character. That said, I think he does look younger. And I really cannot stop staring at the screenshots for this mod... *swoon*. I don't think Dorian would allow himself to get so unkempt, but he does look so extremely hot here.  |

Ah, Dorian, my lovely sassy mage. Along with Solas and some others, he's definitely one of my favourite characters of the entire series! He's just, well, perfect. What's not to like? I was curious. Please don't take my drink away. I think he looks really different. I never go for those mods that drastically alter a follower's look, since that is how the devs designed them. I actually posted way back when in the original thread a pic of my attempt to grow out a curly moustache similar to his. |

Dorian, Maevaris & Calpernia:- Make Tevinter Great Again. High Energy Trio.
I'm torn on Dorian. On the one hand, In Hushed Whispers allows you to get access to Dorian earlier but Champions of the Just gives you access to Calpernia, who if you play your cards right, can be helpful to Dorian in the future.

^ Calpernia's fate is uncertain in either path, so I don't think that taking IHW over CotJ means that she is not in a position to help Dorian. However, I do think that having Dorian actually meet her and go through that path in the game adds significance. I'm wondering how they will address this, or not, in the next game.
We've discussed in the old BSN Tevinter thread that, while they both want reform for Tevinter, their methods are likely to vastly differ. Dorian wants to reform from the inside, and the top down, while Calpernia would be content turning the whole system on its head. In the end, I think they have different visions for what Tevinter can and should be.

Did anyone start thinking about the story of Dorian Gray and his famous painting that ages instead of him?
All I can imagine is Dorian saying that not only does he recognize that type of magic, he knows the guy who tried to live forever that way and messed up when his slaves misplaced it amongst his other self portraits.
