Would you play it instead of another Andromeda chapter/game? Assuming they could make it work story wise.
This is purely hypothetical, Andromeda isn't doing as well as they would have hoped and they're going back to Shepard. Would you prefer that or would you prefer a new Andromeda game?
I'll be honest, I'm biased, for me the Mass Effect games were all about Shepard and his/her relationships, adventures and just the general gameplay really.

I know this is kind of silly and biased but seeing all the Ryder hate and seeing all the people going 'I miss Shepard' has kind of spoiled the character for me. I know I will probably go back and play the trilogy one day but honestly if Shepard were back in the series for ME 5, someway, somehow, I'd be less likely to buy it then if Ryder were. Though I'd still very likely get it either way, just would have to hold my nose.

Shepard was the greatest hero in the universe, he lived happily ever after with Jack and that is the end of it.
He won't come back, Bioware already said so.
It's ok if they make MEA2, but a great game, like the trilogy

Shepard is dead and the Mass Effect universe is 600+ years past his/her death. I'm good with Ryder. I'd like to be a part of him/her growing and maturing into a really strong leader.
I liked Shepard...but it's time to move on.

When they do remaster, the ending will be a Pick-Your-Path Adventure which is a summary of your actions and the consequences of each of those decisions. I also don't see why they would abandon Andromeda. It's just on 'hiatus' meaning, Dylan and DA4 have top priority while other games get love and care (like Battlefront) from the newly-minted veterans of Frostbite. We will see Andromeda 2. It will be polished at launch, it will have outstanding music throughout the entire game and tell us a great story. This is exactly what I saw in my crystal ball. I also saw these numbers: 7, 9, 27, 33, 36. So yeah... now I have to go out and buy a lottery ticket. |

I wouldn't want the play Shepard again. I did that, three games worth. And I really like Ryder. A lot. And I like her crew. Both have such potential for character growth that I want to see Bioware continue to build on what they've already started with Andromeda.
