id say were people first. Besides, douchebag is in the eye of the beholder, it's subjective and opinionated. But not all opinions are created equal... The only people I would call douchbags are the ones who sent death threats and the like. WAY overreaction and totally not cool. I dislike PeeBee too. Her childish mannerisms drive me nuts. I didn't know a single 20-something that acted like that, and my 20's weren't THAT long ago. If I have to watch her do her hand-to-waist/shoulder-shrug, or that incredibly annoying finger point thing again, I might break my finger trying to shoot her. Cyclical hand-on-waist animation made me cry

I seem to remember criticism of the MET where you could accidentally romance somebody way too easily. They seem to have doubled down on that with PeeBee. Though the other romances do a good job on this with the Flirt option, PeeBee's can ambush you out of literally no where.

I was just being nice and understanding with Kaidan and all the sudden he's upset I'm getting close to my blue waifu. I was like "What!" BW has been pretty good about it since then, at least I haven't been blindsided like that again. I know some folks complained about Zevran in DAO but personally I always thought that was pretty straight forward. They've been super clear about what is romance and what isn't since then.

Yeah I think that was what I was remembering. They've done a good job being clear since then, except seriously, PeeBee just ambushes you. It came out of no where. I was like whaaaatisgoingonnoooo. That probably colors my opinion of her character and writing a bit.

I certainly didn't pick any flirt options with her and she still offered, which I refused of course. She's no Suvi.

It still annoyed me that I did everything I could to be friendly but off-putting and I still got ambushed by it. Esp since she was already low on my list of characters I liked It's not that huge a deal, really, but it caught me unaware. And just added to the things I didn't like about her.

It's kinda both, I guess. I can appreciate the round bouncy buns are quite round and bouncy indeed, while still laughing at how overdone they are. That's kinda the point, its not supposed to be taken seriously. Even using the "self destruct sequence" to get rid of her usual skirt is tongue in cheek. At least that is how I took it. I just like how upset people get over it. It is definitely one finely sculpted rear though. If the whole tone is a bit of over the top cheesiness then that's fine, it fits, and I may even find some sex appeal in it. In something that's trying to take itself more seriously - well, my initial reaction to Miranda was "oh dear."
