There is no dialogue for a Kaidan vs Ashley or a Kaidan vs Ashley vs Liara conflict. Modders can get away with jury-rigging a gay toggle, but that's not going to fly with a commercial release. Making all three love interests available regardless of Shepard's sex requires dialogue for four different conflicts, otherwise the event flags won't work, and as it stands only two of those conflicts exist in the game files. Adding the two missing conflicts requires bringing the actors back in.

There still needs to be dialogue where one of them states that they are dropping out of the race. Conversations where Shepard tells one of them that he is interested in the other. Modders don't have to worry about event flags the same way the developers do.

Unfortunately, the dialogue for someone bowing out gracefully doesn't exist in the files, at least not in a way that would facilitate all three options being available at once.

Having a blast with the Legendary Edition. Finished ME1 and well into ME2. Already made it past Horizon, I almost cried when Kaidan walked away from my Shepard. Staying loyal as best I can, but some of my squad mates are hard to differentiate if I am flirting with them or not. So am deliberately using the quicksave feature before talking to any of the male squad members.

I know what to expect from from Garrus, he is easy to read. I don't have Thane yet. Jacob is the real issue, my Shepard just sound so flirty with him from the very beginning, on how she leans in the table and the way she says she just wants to talk for a bit. I have not done his loyalty mission, but chose an option early that we should be friends.

I managed to avoid any kind of romance in ME2, well into ME3 now. Have completed Priority: Citadel 2 as early as possible without locking out any quests, and Kaidan is locked in (can't express how much I love that Café scene). Traynor was about to snipe me, but we managed to only play chess.

You don't have to romance other people to get the achievement. If you romance him again, you'll get the Paramour III. I've done that with Kelly to get my I and II, and am in the middle of doing it for the III.

Odd...I only got Paramour II after the café scene in 3 (my Shepard didn't romance anyone in ME2)
