Canadian Delicacy - The Kaidan Alenko Thread

Can someone remind me... Kaidan's romance gets much, much better in ME3 right? I seem to remember more interactions with him, more bits of dialogue, more squadmate banter about it. Trying to convince a friend to try it out because they were disappointed with the ME1 romance's amount of content for Fshep and Kaidan. I seem to remember it being worth it to stay loyal and wait until ME3 but I could be totally wrong, as I am currently only on ME2 on my LE playthrough and am about 6 years removed from my last.

Additionally, is it like DA where your LI comes and hangs out in your cabin/room after you lock them in in ME3? or am I misremembering lol?

In terms of ME3.... I seem to remember so much more depth for Kaidan's romance, unless I am totally wrong. Because I am trying to convince my friend NOT to cheat on kaidan with Garrus rn. 

Leviathan DLC is so bugged its not even funny.

Kaidan disappeared at one point, even though Shepard was looking in his direction and I could hear him talking

All other squad mates would hawk all of Kaidan's lines in one form or another. Tried 3 different combos.
James/Javik would steal the "I am not too crazy about this plan". Then poof, there was Kaidan going "But Shepard..." EDI would steal "Are we seriously considering?" With Kaidan confirming that we are.

Not to mention the infinite spawning Brutes that were attacking everyone in the cut-scene. Making everyone recoil or t-pose. Although that bug did make me laugh out loud when it happened.

That was the exact point Kaidan was gone too, he was supposed to place his hand on Shepards shoulder. All I could, was hear his voice and Shepard looking behind her.

But I could not for the life of me get a Romanced Kaidan to say all of the concerned lines before submerging.

The old bug is still there, with the camera focusing on the wrong squad mate when they are suggesting the Normandy pick them up.

I found many more old bugs that are not fixed that kinda distracted me a bit, like the double music when visiting Kaidan at the hospital when he is still out cold, Ashley T-Posing in the background, Kaidan saluting with the wrong hand just to have him switch instantly in the next shot, and the shifty eyes at the memorial wall.

I noticed a few bugs in that dlc as well, but non to game-breaking...bit annoying at times though

I finally reached one of my favorite rewards after a very tough battle on Horizon on Insanity.
Sadly I will have to "cheat" on him this time around as I am missing Paramour III and to make sure nothing goes wrong I will do it in this game. 

Happy Father's Day to Kaidan! Just because we all know he 100% married FemShep after she recovered and it was all over, moved off somewhere in Canada and had lots of little Shenkos running around.

I'll just chime in here that I think it's great that the supposed 'Boring' and 'Bland' guy has one of the largest character threads. I've never romanced him or anything, but I like him a bit more than Ashley now, especially in ME3. I appreciate having a stable and well-adjusted member of the crew who is also a power-combo wizard.

There were pitched battles in the threads between the different factions; it's amusing to look back on, but they could completely derail a thread within moments.

The second incarnation is the one that had all the bells and wistles; Projects (mods, Groups, Albums, Blogs, Polls (separely and as part of a thread), direct access to purched DLCs, etc.. This is the forum I joined and IMO the forum that the developers were most active on. It was unique...you could post about an issue you were having with the game and both members and developers would try troubleshoot what the issue was. I think that model inspired EA to create their Answers HQ, which is what replaced the BSN Help forum.

The third had Groups, but none of the other features of the second version.

LOL I forgot about the quote trees you could create on the official forum. Could be used for trolling or for when we got bored waiting for the next game...either way the mods usually weren't amused.
