Spectre's are supposed to be the best of the best, especially for a dude that was under training by Saren himself. He didn't seem like a Spectre, a person of experience. The guy was not assertive, in fact he's being bossed around by some 25 year old noob Ryder. This game lacked interesting characters, and the one I had hopes for went literally no where. I was totally waiting for one of those scenes where he'd SHOW how bad ass he was instead of TELLING me. I got so pumped to do the Turian ark, until it literally ended just as soon as it started. That final assault of the game should've been led by him, if anything. Turian's are all about military and tactics, but we don't really see him much. I can go on forever, but a Spectre in Andromeda should be treated with the utmost respect and authority.

Also no, Spectres have no authority in Andromeda Imitative. No Citadel Council is there, as AI is the government entity and they have the Pathfinders who take the similar role.

I hope that Avitus Rix & the other pathfinders will be squadmates/doing missions with them since they are Pathfinders after all. I know it is said somewhere that all pathfinder's ship were destroyed except the Tempest so they should come with us to do some quests with them from time to times.

It would be interesting if on the Quarian Ark there is actually more than one Pathfinder since unlike the other Arks this Ark isn't dedicated to just one species but multiple species that require drastically different environments.

I care about results more. Avitus can whine about his dead boyfriend as much as he likes: If he rescues the turians while doing it, I can roll my eyes, but still think he does a good job.

The game needed more assertiveness. But I don't attribute that to Avitus. That was true all over.

2. Also, not effect his job? He is not the path finder yet. His job was to help the path finder not be it. And once he does become it h wen does not let it effect his duty.

Honestly I felt like most of the game was a wasted opportunity.

Avitus (like so many other characters) had a lot of potential, but they just didn't do much of anything with him (or most of the rest).

Yes he was. If a Pathfinder, he is in the cutscene where the other Pathfinders are taking out the Kett ships as they watch your back as you head inside. He is in a Trident fighter and shoots down multiple ships.
