Despite all the negative feedback many folk have given you guys over this installment of Mass Effect, i for one take my hat off to you! Im not a young fella, rather a 57yr old space junkie that really enjoyed the first 3 Mass Effect and waited with baited breath for this latest version to break free from your design computers and be leashed upon us all.... You have managed to capture the heart beating moments, the " can i make it" moments and created a world that once immersed in it makes you forget of all the cr*p that is going on in this world.. Thank you and keep up the great work you all do!

I kinda envy you because you enjoy it. I couldn't. Yeah, there are people that can see things that most of us common mortals can't, like ghosts, peoples aura's and pretty female characters. We should be so lucky.

I'm also enjoying the game. The combat is hellish fun and the heartwarming story of exploration is a great theme... plus it's a lot of fun playing a youngster and a dreamer in a game rather than a grizzled old veteran.

Thanks for the positive/optimistic post starman. I enjoyed my multiple playthroughs as well. The only reason I haven't played through more times is because of the profile system. I have everything unlocked already, so playing through with different playstyles is a thing of the past because my one character can do it all. As much as I enjoyed ME:A, I really hope they return to the class system in the next installment so each playthrough feels unique.

I really enjoyed the game on it's own when not compared to ME:OT or even Dragon Age.
It's a good game for the money and I spent about 200 hours with it.
I'm currently playing through DAI and DAI has so much more complexity. Just the back stories of the characters are so complex.
It's kind of the opposite of MEA. Hated the combat in DAI (before I got used to it..still don't love it) Loved the combat in MEA, except for only having 3 powers at a time.
DAI is so long and complex. Each DAI region seems to have twice the content of planets in MEA.
The writing and character interaction is so complex in DAI...even for side events.
If anything DAI is too long...but MEA seems too short.
I still like my CC created DAI character better than the small choice I got with MEA.
So MEA is a good, fun game, but not great and not one I'll play 1000 hours like most of the ME:OT and DA series.

Cheers to you. I'm on my 4th playthroughs despite diminishing quality to previous games. Besides very rare occasions a trendy trend in so many games and by so many game developers.

I'm with you starmanI'm younger, but not so much and I loved and will love ME Trilogy very-very much. I feared Andromeda will be not as amazing as MET, but I was wrong. This game gave me what I wanted from it - stunning adventure, various mystic worlds to explore, new races, and new young hero. I said it before and I repeat - Andromeda is just like wonderful scifi movie and we are able to participate in it Yea, BIOWARE THANK YOU!

Fascinating OP.
The game was put on ice because of all that positiveness?

That doesn't address any argument made in the OP and this thread is pretty obviously for a certain topic, thanking Bioware for the game. If you want to complain about the game, there are plenty of threads to do so in.

Well, its his right to post this but I don't think this kind of thing is helpful. I agree the game has much to recommend it and threads that solely focus on the negstives are misrepresenting the game.
But so do threads like this. The game clearly has problems, many resulting from being rushed out in an unfinished state. Trying to manufacture it into some kind of masterpiece ignores the myriad and very real flaws of the game. Which EA would be delighted for you to do.
The internet already has far too much 'This is the greatest thing ever/This is the worst thing ever' oversimplications and tribal arguments about fanboys and haters. This game needs what all modern culture needs - real debate and analysis. Tell it like it is, not how you want to be. Because wbat's the point otherwise? This game was better than most said it was, but its a *long* way short of how good it could and should have been.

This game was better than most said it was, but its a *long* way short of how good it could and should have been. Agreed with some of your post, how ever this post was purely my own experience with the game, it was not changing the fact there are things that need to be attended to, rather just my thoughts on the installment. We all know as game players just how much work goes into one scene yet alone a whole game dealing with many possibility's and different routes one can take within a game of this statue, the Team that put this together was different than the team that put together the first three, i beleive, and will stand corrected if im wrong, and even with all the tools in the world things can still go wrong,, i guess that is part of our lives as we know it. I'm sure there will be patchs up and coming that will deal with issues found by everyone and as for rushing out the game i guess sometimes both in personal and business we make decisions that we feel are right at the time, and yes sometimes they turn out wrong but hey...part of being Human i reckon... Thank you for your post and do have a good day
