Still crappy running animations, still Sara's creepy smile, still plastered faces on statues. And the gays will complain about something else now. This is what happens when you try to please someone who is inherently unpleasable. You don't sound very pleased... I'll look past your post with the sensitivity of a half-brick to make the observation that the Jaal and Romance threads have been relative havens of joy these last 24 hours, there's a really nice atmosphere in there, unlike some of the half-baked complaining in the General forum today...

"For players wanting to adjust their look mid-game, we added the ability to change your character’s appearance onboard the Tempest." Well, at least something good came out of this. I thought this one was good too. "And for fans of Alec Ryder’s iconic appearance, you can now choose to keep the default Alec, rather than having his appearance be based on your custom Ryder."

And it made lots of money, meaning Bioware doesn't have to deal with these issues and make money. That's the point. made money by having someone do the hardest part-the writing for them. I mean yeah, white hetero cis self insert, gruffy dude who fucks all the ladies because they cant get preggers, no fucking wonder its popular with nerdy awkward dudes..can be someone, finally. and also collect raunchy images.. the world looks pretty nice, the combat is too much dancy dancy for me and it suffers from typical open world syndrome too, but people are more willing to overlook it because it caters to their desires.. well we are the same. what a surprise. I'm sorry but isn't it kinda shitty to judge people like that? Make assumptions about them based on their interests, the way they behave, look, are perceived by others ect? I loved the Witcher 3 and I have no interest in women at all, even if I did that wouldn't be a big factor in whether or not I liked it. I imagine the same could be said for plenty of white hetero cis nerdy guys. Not everyone plays video games for some kind of "imagine if you were this cool guy" experience. Not that I am even saying there is something wrong with that it just seems like a silly thing to assume. Also Witcher 1 is the only one with the sex cards and I am pretty sure that is the only one that wasn't a huge success, at least compared to the other two.

As you don't know, l'll explain: The m/m content didn't allow for the 3 romance achievement to be reached natively, as it can be for m/f and f/f, so this is essentially a bug fix. And as the additional content doesn't impact anyone else, it's a nice improvement among the 30 or so listed items in 1.08.

The best part about this is that it ruins their previous arguments that the lack of CC options were because Alec was supposed to look like your Ryder.

Honestly, "they changed it because a lot of people wanted it" is a better (and good enough) argument in every way. If it was about an achievement, they could just change required quantity to 2 and be done with it or just leave it as it is since you have way more romance options than it's necessary to accomplish it. There really is no need to pretend it's a bug fix. Anyway, I don't care about that. The gender fluidness is crazy though.

Of all the stupid things you could say, this is by far the stupidiest. That is not a bug. Three different romances is just an achievement. That's it. You get achievements in Papers, Please for interesting moral dilemmas. The Stick of Truth went for some suitably epic things. And then, there are achievements that just are just hilarious, like "I swear I did it by accident!" for looking up Juliet Starling's skirt in Lollipop Chainsaw. That's all achievements are: Bonus content that takes very little effort to implement, and to appeal to those "spade" type players. I would know, I am one. You're just proving my point with the absurdity of that community.

It could have been a very interesting concept to weave into an alien race but I hesitate to even say a genuine attempt was made to do so because if you didn't know what the developers had said outside of the game and you missed that one conversation in the game, you wouldn't know that the angara supposedly perceive gender as something other than two genders that remain constant. It doesn't feel like they even tried to think of how gender fluidity would influence the angara like in terms of culture and language.

To be fair, that one impacted all players equally while MEA's only impacted one group since the other groups could get it just fine.

Its the Marijuana Emergency SOS quest, I think there is an option where you can partake of the services. What?! I didn't know this. Well, for a future playthrough. I just did that scene for the 5th time and thought I'd tried all the options but didn't get that one????

I thought this was a Bioware forum not Tumblr. Why is everyone so damn triggered over really nothing? I agree making Jaal bi is stupid but at the end of the day it doesn't change the experience for Sara Ryder. I fear Bioware will take the Bethesda route and just make everyone bisexuals for their next game so people can shut up about "muh representations". If people wanted to romance Jaal they should have made a female Ryder just like I did in DAI to romance Sera. But since Bioware already crossed the bridge can they please make Suvi bi next. Yes this. Started my current male PT wanting to romance Suvi - DISAPPOINTED.
