I don't know... Complexion 9 with the skin tone set to 0.00 is pretty damn pale. If you go into the CC and flip between the complexions you can tell a big difference between Complexion 10 and the others. All the others are tinted yellow or brown, complexion 10 is the only "Caucasian" one. And its ginger. Now sure why Bioware gets so stubborn about these things or why just having a normal looking caucasian woman in the game is such a horrible thing to them. Just curious, are you giving credence to some mild SJW anti-white leanings in the design or do you think it's just more about poor variability in design choice due to human error/oversight? |

I'm sorry but isn't it kinda shitty to judge people like that? Make assumptions about them based on their interests, the way they behave, look, are perceived by others ect? I loved the Witcher 3 and I have no interest in women at all, even if I did that wouldn't be a big factor in whether or not I liked it. I imagine the same could be said for plenty of white hetero cis nerdy guys. Not everyone plays video games for some kind of "imagine if you were this cool guy" experience. Not that I am even saying there is something wrong with that it just seems like a silly thing to assume. Also Witcher 1 is the only one with the sex cards and I am pretty sure that is the only one that wasn't a huge success, at least compared to the other two. sorry but the mc of Witcher is pure male power fantasy. Not like I have an issue with it (looks at shepard) but I would like to actually make my character then be stuck with only one and being nice or mean. That doesn't really address my point. I don't care if something is a "male power fantasy" or not. I also prefer creating my own character, the witcher trilogy is about Geralt tho, that's kind of the whole point of it. Cyberpunk2077 will have a character creator, other future CDPR games may also, who knows. |

Because this patch is about adding options for players, not taking options away. To change a gay character to straight or a straight character to gay (eliminating options) is not the same as changing a straight character to bi (adding options). In one, another romance is added; in another, it is removed. In one, fluidity is easily explained (many people are gender fluid or sexually fluid without ever even acting on that); in another case, it makes no actual sense -- why would you change a gay character straight and delete an option? And a lot of people who are bi or even gay grow up thinking they are straight and even have long-term same-sex relationships and realize later that they were in denial about being queer  Selective reading much? The question was "Let's make Suvi and Gil bi then - what's the big deal, they would still be into Sara and Scott respectively?" That would be exactly the same thing they did to Jaal - a simple re-writing and ADDITION to romance-pool, not subtraction. I, for one, like Gil, my Sara would romance him, and many men would love to love Suvi. Yet, for you turning gay character "bi" is killing gay romance, somehow "taking option away", but turning straight character bi - expanding romances. No I did misread your post a bit, making Suvi bi for ex is fine w/ me. However, that would be done to appease straight male players who already have several options and just like Suvi or her appearance, and this was simply about adding an actual squadmate option for gay male players. |

Yeah I'd like to have a rosy or beige skin texture as well, but that would be like wishing for the stars at this point. |

Does anyone know if when I do facial reconstruction and change my character's preset or complexion, does Alec Ryder's preset change at the same time ? Or does it stay the same ?
I am wondering, because my dad had dark skin and I had white skin, which looked like I was adopted.

I keep seeing this come up, as I skim the thread; so I felt like I should address it. This is absolutely not a pic of a CC that ever existed in the real world. This is concept art. We saw a lot of the art from this portfolio shared back in April. Many pics were posted here on the BSN. This is high-level concept work, a "what if?" type of thing for the CC. It never actually existed in this form. If you look at the image, you can see just how flat and "un-gamey" it looks. I"m aware of that. I'm talking about the level of ambition on Bioware's part, not about downgrading. Got it. I don't really consider early concepts as equating to design ambitions, but YMMV. Other posts seemed less clear about the nature of the image. |

It also needs either +1 augmentation slot or the removal of its Research costs. As it is, it's a good gun that doesn't follow the Common/Rare/Ultra-Rare "rules" that other weapons follow. |
