Closest yet to fem-Shep. I'm a little happy. The guy looks a bit of a knob though. The complexion is a big part of that. The face itself is pretty good for making some decent characters with the other skin texture options. EDIT: Is it me, or are these faces basically recycled from NPC's that didn't exist as CC presets in the beginning? The female reminds me of the human female adept and I could swear that the first NPC we meet on Eos has a similar face model to the male. In CC everytime I tried to make something of preset 10, particularly if I used skin 4, it looked like Addison to me.

I guess we'll see. What I wanna know is, will the complexion for default Scott/Sara be available now? (pale) white people will be accomodated. The patch notes made it obvious. I don't really care about how pale they are, they are just much nicer looking than most of the others.

As far as the head shape and facial features goes? Yeah I find the new Sara at least to be very nice. I suppose opinions vary on the new Scott.

It probably IS Addison's face. I went into the CC and just changed the hair, complexion and make up. Didn't touch the features at all. For a long time, I had wondered if Addison's face was off preset #2 because they were so strikingly similar. No, they just shared the same complexion and face shape. Mystery solved. To see what I mean, this is my original character based off preset #2. I attempted to recreate my character in preset 10 to see how close I could get. (Imagine for a minute meeting Addison for the first time ever, who already looked pretty close to your character, and asking just exactly what was her relationship with your dad and bracing yourself for unpleasant implications. =p)

Yeah the female is nice, anyway I was able to change my Scott's complexion to something a bit nicer so I am happy enough

New scott looks androgynous and didn't appeal to me at all. The CC wasn't overhauled which I'm sure more than a few people were hoping for.. they just added a new feature and 1 extra preset. I'll give EA credit at least their troll game is staying on point!

Darn! Thought I had made myself a pretty good Shep, she looked good in the CC, but soon as she became animated in game, I had a lobotomized chimp. There's just no hope for this game, it's to f****** up. Or you just need to GIT GUD at creating characters. You're always slamming the CC (and are still sporting that ridiculous pic ); but I've never had an issue creating attractive, lifelike protagonists. I think this is a case of user skills not being up to par, or your desire to complain. Maybe it's a bit of both.

I can make a pretty good male rider myself, and the animation seems less FU than female.

The truth is MEA doesn't have a character creator... literally... it's not a creator. It's a take one of our presets and slightly alter them or go with default sara/scott.

pretty much every cc ever if you think about it. no. not really. my process for using the cc in Andromeda has been the same for every single rpg I've played except for FO 4-which only has one preset, and witcher 3- which doesn't have a CC. 1. Find a preset i like. 2. Fiddle with the sliders till i get bored or i find something i like and hope like hell it animates well in game. Sure you might have more control but the process is basically the same.

Can't understand what's with the scars in Andromeda. They look more like birthmarks or tomatoe sauce left over from eating a burger. None of the scars available look anything like a scar.
Talk about amateur, this is kindergarten.

MEA's CC only allows tweaking of the base facial features, i.e. move the nose up or down, make the mouth wider or thinner, move cheekbones in or out. Even that is limited in what you can change and how much you can change it. You also can't for instance change the eye shape or use a different eyebrow or add/remove freckles. The MEA CC is pretty limited compared to even ME1 let alone what is typical of CC's in 2017.

I remembered after i logged out for the night that there were more then one CC in FO 4. First of all how does any of that contradict what i said? Second i find that limitations can sometimes foster creativity and great ness. So i find Andromeda CC the best that has ever been put in a game. Now I recognize that technically it may not give the most control like other bioware ccs but since ME has always been the more on rails experience it does not faze me. And again created an amazing v looking male Ryder.
