they added a few romance scenes for triss because people were mad it didn't compare to Yens. Wait people wanted more with Triss, who you could romance through 3 games and you only met Yen in one and they said it wasn't fair? There were some other problems involved if I remember correctly, but it's been a while so I don't remember what... part of it being the reactions of Yen and Triss when they meet up with Geralt at Kaer Morhen. But CDR did a poor job with both carry over from one game to another and with the forced Triss romance in Witcher 2 (and how that impacted Witcher 3) in my humble opinion. I finally broke down and read the books so I could feel a little like I "got to know" Yen since she's not painted in a very flattering light at the end of Witcher 2.

The truth about Triss was not pleasant at all, and Yen was made to look like the lesser choice. This is why I wanted Keira lol I only stuck with Triss since she was my choice in the previous games, so I continued her story. Yen was a big surprise for me! I take back my support of romances in games. Get rid of them. They make weird shit happen. MEA is proof of that.

maybe. The patches arrived quite fast. Look i am not saying the game is perfect. it's not. But is this a sin? The sin is the initial release of the game. The sin is that after seeing Anthem andromeda could have been better. Still it's a damn good bioware game in my book. Witcher 3 which many love to dickride (excuse my harsh language) before the pacthes was not in a good state. It sure was not the mess andromeda was but still it got way better after. As of now the menu of witcher is a hassle to navigate, too slow to show up etc Now i am mentioning witcher as it is considered the Top rpg this gen Think that title belongs to Breath of the Wild now. You're in the minority about Andromesa though, so expect the majority of people to disagree with you. It sold less than its predecessors, got mediocre critical reviews for a AAA / Mass Effect game, and received even worse user reviews. This forum is probably the only place on the internet where a majority of people will agree with you - but even some of these diehards are dwindling away as they realize their initial impressions were perhaps biased to an extent. hah. Look at you. Still coming here trying to sell your BS. ME:A had the 2nd highest first week sales of any game in the franchise with only ME3 selling more copies in it's first week (that number comes from the March NPD report, fyi, which you put so much faith in). Keep trying, dude. It's cute.

Wow.
All I take from this thread are that the generations younger than me, through no fault of their own, are ignorant of what quality is, and are satisfied by well intentioned mediocrity.
Nothing new, still unfortunate.

I'm sorry but I atlas expect games to come out with proper animation. That is the minimum requirement. And bug should be game play bug that are overlooked not stuff if give more time can be fixed. And they couldn't finish it without the 5 month extension, but did so in 4 months with patches. All for free. *shrugs* I find the "but but but it wasn't done yet!!! :sob: " reasoning petty and an excuse to complain. It's perfectly reasonable to expect the company like Bioware to keep up with their deadlines. Them failing at it is unprofessional and disrespectful to the fans, a lot of whom have preordered the game expecting it be worth the price. This whole "it's okay to release a half-assed product because we can always fix it later" attitude shouldn't be endorsed by shutting up like the good little fans after an umpteenth patch finally takes care of the problem. Personally, I still love the game and most of the bugs I have aren't game-breaking, but the fact that it's been several patches and they don't seem to be in any rush to work on bugs and glitches (instead focusing on other stuff) is making me lose my patience. And it seems that every new patch makes things worse for my game - it's a lot more buggy now than it was at the release.

The kb and mouse fix was adding an auto attack and fixing the camera and you can work around it if you did not have it.mea change was about the experience that you can't work around and ignore. For me it was setting up a rebind in my mouse software so that 'L' and 'K' were bound to MB 4 and 5 (i.e., keyboard keys that I never use in a game as they're too far from WSAD). The thing is, this was a AAA 2014 game. I shouldn't have to be messing around with ghetto engineering like this just to get my mouse to work. As for being 'unable to work around and ignore'... let's be honest, an issue with a cutscene is easy to work around and ignore. You literally do not have to do anything and the problem will pass. If issues like this stopped you playing the game then you'd have never gotten through the trilogy. please clearly people don't ignore cut scene issues.

the cut.the animation department. The worked of a bad foundation and had horrible management. Yet after all that they still managed to fix all of it with in month of release? Please, do not tell me they did not have the time. It's fixed. So what's the big deal? That's where I don't get this logic. I have bought old games that went through nightmare patching and played a version many earlier players never saw. MEA is no different. Anyone who buys it now will see it as it was mean to be, so the past is the past. I would only complain too if they left it alone and just expected everyone to accept an un-polished game. Also when I beta tested SWTOR many of us said not to bring it out as it was because it was not a pretty sight, but they did, so nothing that's released is the end results. animation is thing that need to be fixed out of box..it is an issue of quality.

Nothing new, still unfortunate. I can virtually guarantee that I am not of the generation younger than you... and I've lived long enough to know that I've gotten very little good service out of companies by jumping down their throats at every turn. Also, I can guarantee that my generation has known a lot more real inconvenience by tech going wrong than just watching some pixel head spinning at little in a game. It's not that I'm so inclined to settle for mediocrity... but I like to fight my battles where they actually matter and in ways that actually get positive results. As for this mess... what has all this ire on the internet actually accomplished. Bioware has responded, it seems, by closing down their official forums and now backing off from doing another ME game or even ME DLC for now. Hardly a win for people who purport to be fans of RPG games. So, people have "drama-queened" themselves into a worse position. Good job.

(21), I may be younger but even I don't like paying $60 to beta test games(even though the bugs and unpolish isn't actually my main gripe, it's the shoddy story and downgrades that I dislike). I bought the super deluxe for Andromeda as well so it's even worse :7

The OP plays the game already patched and says he doesn't get the complaints about the game.
Some people tell him to play the game unpatched to see the state of the game at launch. (Just a way of saying that the game was much worse when it was released in march)

THat'S STupID BOOOoOoOooOoOoo" C'mon people. It's stupid to tell him to play unpatched, particularly on a console, where the game will update the moment he connects... that is, he cannot play unpatched. There are more reasonable ways to tell him about the state of the game on some systems prior to patching than to just rudely state... play unpatched. There are also several people who did play the game day 1 on PC who did not experience the same levels of bugs that other people claim to have experienced. Therefore, it's a variable thing from system to system. However, he can, for example, view early playthroughs on YouTube as see the quality of the actual in-game graphics in those playthroughs. Looking at all the memes doesn't give anyone an accurate picture, since the authors of many of them obviously enhanced the faults to stress their point. Also, it anyone wants the company to focus on the problems that still exist... maybe, just maybe, it would help if they shut up about the issues that have been fixed.

I've gotten a lot more out of companies by just being reasonable with them than I have by being beligerant and nasty. How could this be happening? Chin up - Anthem looks great. Totes adorbs. You're so desperate to be right you'll even lie to yourself. They're still broadcasting Twitch streams from Montreal. For an office that no longer exists it sure is busy. Mike Gamble stated on 6/8 they're working on a new patch after 1.08 and, oh yeah, MEA still had the 2nd highest first week sales of a ME game. Don't worry, sunshine. You'll get your Anthem and, unlike you, I don't hope it fails or its fans are unhappy. I hope it's everything you hope for and I hope BioWare can knock it out of the park. That's the difference between you and I; I don't wish failure on a game and misery to its fans about a game I don't have any real interest in.
