In Mass Effect 1, the squadmates were 2 humans, 1 turian, 1 asari, 1 krogan, and 1 quarian. That gives a 1:2 human/alien ratio.
In Mass Effect 2 we had 1 turian, 2 asari, 1 quarian, 1 krogan, 1 drell, 1 salarian, 1 geth, and 5 humans. 5/12 human/alien divide.
In Mass Effect 3 there's 1 turian, 1 asasri, 1 quarian, 1 prothean, and 3 humans. At least outside Citadel DLC.
I personally prefer having more aliens than humans because it allows for more chances to learn about their cultures. Not that I believe humans are boring in this setting, or that the human squadmates we've had so far weren't welcome. And to the series credit, Aliens have always outnumbered humans on the roster depending on the size of the party. For Andromeda, I'd prefer the 1:2 ratio from Mass Effect 1 the most, whether that means we get 6 or 9 squadmates.
What about the rest of you?

The protagonist is already a human so bring more aliens to the squad. I believe it will be like ME3. Two human teamates (the starter squad) and the rest will be from other species.

For me it depends on how diverse the crew of the Tempest is as well, and how many members of that crew we can interact with in-depth. If the crew is mostly human, then I would like more alien squadmates than human squadmates. If the crew is diverse, I'm okay with a more even split among alien squadmates and human squadmates.

With me, it depends more on how many squad mates overall and the quality of romance-able human characters in the game. I'm OK with being friends with aliens and finding out about their cultures, but romancing aliens just doesn't grab my interest at all. That's one reason why I don't really enjoy playing with a Femshep. She really only has two straight human romance option throughout the entire Trilogy... and only one with whom she can still be in the relationship at the end of the game. BroShep has three straight human female squadmates (with vastly different personalities to choose from) and can finish the game while still in a relationship with any one of them. BroShep can also somewhat romance two human females who are not squadmates.) It would be nice to see 3 straight human, in-depth relationships available for either gender of Ryder, allowing for a wide range of diversity in personalities. However, I realize that perhaps makes for too many different characters with 4 human (straight, romanceable) squad mates (2 of each gender), 4 human (gay romanceable) squad mates (again 2 of each gender), and 4 alien (romanceable) squad mates (1 of each gender and 2 mono-gendered or bi). In addition, romanceable non-squadmates: 1 straight human of each gender , 1 gay human of each gender, and 1 alien (mono-gendered or bi). Still, I hope they don't go too overboard with idea of romancing aliens cause it just doesn't appeal to me.

I would like more aliens than humans on the squad, though I would like said aliens to actually be fairly 'alien'. Out of all the companions, ME 2 versions of Mordian and Legion were probably the most unique, practically everyone else was a human in a rubber mask. This is especially noticeable when you compare the number of squad mates with "family (though mostly daddy) issues" to those without.

The underlying conflict of mass effect has always been human supremacy vs galactic cooperation. Kinda like the mages vs templars of Dragon Age.
There has to be at least 2 humans to for the human supremacist players.

Most "aliens" in ME are just humans with a different paint job anyway. I'd like at least half the squad to be human... if we are constantly surrounded by something that's supposed to be alien, it stops being alien pretty quickly anyway.

I want the squadmates to be interesting. I'm not hung up on any one species being part of the squad. If we have two Turians and one is boring, mostly, except for loyalty missions, I'm going to stick with the more interesting one ... assuming the boring one doesn't have some unique talent (power) that is helpful on a mission. So in effect, two Turians, if one is boring, is a waste. I'm just using Turians as an example.
The same applies to Krogans, Salarians, Asari, Quarians, Volus, Elcor, Hanar, Drell or Batarians. On the other hand, having five Vorcha squadmates would be divine. As EDI would say, "that is a joke."
I'm really not into bean counting ... it is counterproductive in the extreme. If the Krogan is the most interesting character for Ryder to stomp around the universe with, then Ryder will mostly stomp around the universe with the Krogan. And all the Asari, Rachni and Yahg squadmates can just cool their species-equivalent heels on the Tempest. And it's not limited to species ... the same goes for gender and all manifestations of sexuality. I just don't give a flying crap. Unique talents (powers) that are useful more broadly ... or to a specific mission ... that's a different thing entirely.
Make all the characters interesting and I'll probably mix it up pretty well ... based on mission requirements and as I go through multiple runs of the game. Realistically, some will appeal to me, some won't ... so I'll end up with some on Ryder's missions more than others. In specific cases, it might depend on whether Ryder is the male or female version ... as to which squadmates I prefer Ryder to team with on a given run. But mostlly talents ... if a given squadmate has talents (powers) Ryder needs for a mission, then that squadmate goes with Ryder ... irrespective of the species, gender or whatever, of that particular squadmate, and irrespective of whether I find Ryder's squadmate interesting or boring.
Typically, on the first run, I go with the lowest (non-"narrative only") difficulty setting. It allows me to explore not just the story, but the talents and characteristics of the protagonist's squadmates. Experience as many conversations as I can. On subsequent runs, I amp up the difficulty and specific talents of specific squadmates becomes more important ... plus which characters I find more interesting ... so some end up "on the shelf" while others get to go out an play more frequently. Bean counting other attributes just doesn't come into play.

I'd be happy with more humans. 4:3 would be my ideal but I'd settle for 3:4.
I have a suspicion the two humans (assuming they both are human), we seen in the last trailer will be all we're getting.

I want good diverse characters as squad mates, people I want to get to know and grow with in this new galaxy. Their race comes as a well-applied spice sprinkled on top of all that.

And that the Geth's whole shtick is just a robot version of daddy/mommy issues vis a vis the quarians (combined with an inexplicable desire to become more "human"). True on both accounts. Still, Mordin was rather 'subdued' when it came to those human elements, heck his whole loyalty quest, once he discovers Maelon's intentions, is the pragmatism Salarians are known for. As for Legion and the Geth, yeah it was the whole 'created vs. creator' trope, but they were at least fairly 'alien' in their depiction. It's really when ME 3 rolled around that the Geth suddenly became Pinocchio bots.

I'd like it to be somewhere between not too homogeneous and not too much "collect them all". Others have said it better. It depends on the personality of the teammates. If they're as cliche as a commercial, being an alien isn't going to save them. On the other hand, I've had less struggle talking to Mordin than Jacob because the game didn't jump ahead and act like just because we're playing human I automatically want to do him.
